Description
It is a three room house:
A huge kitchen with new exquisite kitchen furniture and electrical devices including dish washer and washing machine. Apart from a breakfast bar there is also a dining table.
The bright lounge has got a leather sofa, an HD TV, a DVD palyer and a wireless LAN access point. It is facing south-west and offers a great view into the garden.
The bedroom is next to the lounge and you will find a queen size bed and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has got a big shower with romantic lights on the ceiling. There is a floor heating system and a towel warmer. It is modern in white an black and has got a little window to let the light in.
If needed we can supply towels and bed cloting for additional 20 € per stay.
In front of the sommer house there is a little terrace with a little bench that invites to enjoy the bird's singing and the quietness of the neighbourhood.

Location and surroundings of object
In the outskirts of Hamburg in a better neighbourhood with many single houses the summer house is placed in a 1000 square meters garden with another house. It is situared away from the road and really quiet. Just ask if you would like to use the garden. We offer a place to park your car without any extra costs.
It is a quiet neigbourhood that is eager to respect the quiet times around noon and on Sundays. So you can really relax at this place.
You will spend your holiday in a popular district of Hamburg's green belt.
For those of you that like nature or do exercise there are woods and hiking paths nearby that you can use for a run or a bike ride. Nearby is the river Alster you can do a tour with a canoe or have a barbecue at the public recreation area. In the nature protection area Duvenstedter Brook you can learn about the local wildlife. There is a special hiking path nearby which makes your walks more interesting.

You can reach our summer house by public transport from the main station (Hauptbahnhof) and the airport. Take the S1 to the station Poppenbüttel and then take the bus line 174 to Bergstedt Markt or take a taxi that brings you to your holiday let within 10 minutes.
To get into the city we recommend to use public transport. The U1 takes you from the station Hoisbüttel straight to Hamburg's city center. You can also use the bus line 174 to Poppenbüttel, from there the S1 takes you downtown.

Quiet accommodation on the outskirts of Hamburg
The small summer house is ideal for a stay in Hamburg. It offers peace and quiet after a day in the city. However, the distances to bus and train were too far for us, so we made our city visits by car. The cottage is comfortably furnished and well equipped. As it was quite cold when we arrived, we were glad to have the heating on

Idyllic and quiet
We really liked this beautiful holiday flat. It is idyllically situated in the garden and had everything we needed as a couple with a small child. It is very comfortably furnished and has a large, open kitchen with plenty of space at the dining table. We will gladly come again.

Walddörfern Sommerhaus - for a peaceful visit to Hamburg
We had a really wonderful 10-day stay in Gesine's Sommerhaus on the northern side of Hamburg. It is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood - offering us a green and restful place to stay : perfect for one son who had to study for exams, and our older son who appreciated a break from the noisy city. It was also lovely for me to do a little yoga under the Magnolia tree in the mornings, or for us to eat al fresco in the sunshine.
Gesine & her family were so welcoming to us: Jeremy offered us beautiful English hospitality, and they gave us ideas of where to visit, lending us maps & information. Cycling and walking around the immediate locality (including Rodenbeker Quellental - the nature reserve) was joyful, and really recommended.
We absolutely would love to revisit. The Sommerhaus was just perfect for a small group of 3 Our only very small comment was that it would be useful to have a small microwave to quickly heat up the milk for our coffee - or a very small milk pan - but that was all it lacked for us.
All up, definitely worth it. (one suggestion for guests coming from the UK: check in and see if anything needs bringing, as Brexit has limited the supply of some stock British food items in Europe). We are hoping Jeremy & Gesine enjoyed the crumpets :-)

A wonderful holiday in the summer house in the forest villages
We enjoyed our stay in the summer house in the Walddörfer to the fullest. The location is very quiet with good connections to the city. The garden is fantastic and can be used. Our daughter used it extensively to play. The hosts are simply wonderful. Extremely warm, helpful and very attentive. We can highly recommend the summer house and would love to come back.

Wonderful
Simply a wonderful cottage for relaxation and recreation. Quietly surrounded by greenery but still close to the city. It is modernly furnished and wonderfully flooded with light. I personally only missed a small stool in the bathroom for my things, nothing else.

Under Corona ideal
Here you can get by without contact. We came in alone and could simply avoid contact because only the owner's family, who live in a house on the same property, move around the arena. And even they are careful to keep their distance. Outside the property, you also meet few people, as it has an almost rural feel to it.
If Corona continues to lead to restrictions, we will definitely come back and bring our bikes with us

Ein perfekter Kurzurlaub.
Das Sommerhaus ist absolut Klasse.
Es ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich.

Man merkt nicht das man in der Großstadt ist obwohl es keine halbe Stunde Fahrt zu City ist.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, und die Ausstattung war für uns Ok. Eine Richtige Kaffeemaschine fehlte ein wenig. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist das Bett im Schlafzimmer. Für zwei Personen etwas eng. Wir hatten aber einen schönen Urlaub.

Kurztrip nach Hamburg
Die Austattung und Sauberkeit hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Ein Minuspunkt ist das kleine Bett für zwei Personen, da die Matratze sehr durchgelegen ist. Außerdem ist unserer Meinung nach der Preis für Bettwäsche und Handtücher für zwei Personen mit 20€ sehr hoch bemessen, da sogar eine Waschmaschine mitbenutzt werden kann. Ansonsten war es wirklich top und wir kommen gerne wieder!
PS.: Bei Kurzfristiger Buchung ist vielleicht eine Barzahlung angebrachter.

Danke für die Anregungen. Die Kaltschaum-Matratze hat Härtegrad 1, deshalb ist sie so weich. Sie ist noch gar nicht alt. Wenn ich eine neue kaufe, werde ich sie auf jeden Fall härter wählen.
Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden gewaschen, gebügelt und auf- und abgezogen, was die Reinigungskraft übernimmt, das reiche ich nur durch.
Bei An- und Abreise am Wochenende ist Barzahlung möglich, unter der Woche manchmal nicht, da ich nicht in Hamburg lebe und somit jemand anderen schicken muss.
Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich Sie wieder als Gast begrüßen kann.
