This flat is of a high standard and offers you an endless view over the beach, the sea and the surf, as well as the boulevard of Katwijk. From the balcony you can admire the evening twilight over the North Sea every day.
The holiday home is very spacious and extremely modernly furnished.
The newly installed air conditioning keeps the flat pleasantly cool on hot summer days. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a wardrobe and the other with two comfortable single beds. There is a bathroom with shower and sink and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher and there is also a washing machine.

Location and surroundings of object
Jessy is located less than 3 minutes from the pedestrian zone, directly opposite the 25 km long sandy beach of the North Sea. All you have to do here is cross the road and walk through the dunes to the beach. Hour-long walks south to Scheveningen or north to Noordwijk along the surf are a dreamlike experience. If the walk back to the holiday flat is too long, take the bus home.
The centre of today's Katwijk is in the district of Katwijk aan Zee, a popular seaside resort with a very wide sandy beach.
Katwijk was originally formed from the two nuclei Katwijk aan den Rijn (with harbour) and Katwijk aan Zee (on the beach). The Germanic tribe of the Chatti or Catti is said to have once lived in this place.

Great sea view
The flat offers a unique sea view from two spacious living room windows and the balcony. Even in bad weather, you have the feeling that you are somehow on the beach. The photos do not adequately reflect this. The furnishing of the flat is modern and appealing. The living room is spacious, but the second bedroom is very small (more suitable for children). The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher. The flat was in good condition and clean. The bathroom smelled a bit (possibly old pipes?). Shops are 5 minutes away. The street between the house and the beach is lively and has traffic from cars and cyclists, but we didn't mind. The dog beach is a 15-20 minute walk away, otherwise dogs can go to the regular beach before 09:00 and after 19:00. The bus stop to Leiden (15 minutes) and The Hague (30 minutes) is right on the boulevard. The bus ride to Harlem (2 hours) is not recommended. Better via Leiden by train or car/bike.
Access to the flat is via a rather steep staircase.
Contact with the manager via telephone was unproblematic and friendly.
We recommend the flat and will definitely come back.
