Description
Our house is located directly on the Holzendorfer is a single-family house, which is used exclusively as a holiday home. In the cold months we open the sauna for you.
An oasis of well-being has been created on more than 100 m² over two floors.
On the first floor there is a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a small dining room, a bedroom and a full bathroom en suite.
On the second floor there is an additional sleeping area with a double bed and an extra bed.
Here you will also find a small TV corner with a couch and armchairs as well as a small bathroom with toilet and washbasin for your use.
After a long day at the beach or at the Baltic Sea or with countless impressions of the city, you can relax in the large living room on our 'Lümmel Couch' with a novel or a good film, in the cold season in front of the fireplace (satellite TV and DVD player available)
If you like to cook, this will be a breeze in our fully equipped kitchen. From the cooker to the microwave, bread maker, blender to coffee maker, everything is available to serve a magical breakfast, lunch or dinner in the dining area overlooking the lake.
In fine weather, this is also recommended on the large fully equipped terrace. A barbecue is ready and waiting

The holiday home is located on a plot of land directly on Holzendorf Lake. Holzendorf is a district of the beautiful holiday resort of Dabel. With its good transport connections (Schwerin, Rostock), it offers the perfect mix of relaxation and proximity to the sights
Dabel is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District, 45 km east of Schwerin. Numerous cycling and hiking trails in the Sternberg lake district and in the Schwinzer Heide nature park offer a varied water and field landscape. Sternberg with its historic old town 10 km. Dobbertin with Benedictine monastery 15 km. Goldberg with nature museum, farmer's garden. Historic old town Schwerin with castle, museum, state theatre. Waren an der Müritz 50 km.

Great family holiday
The holiday home is really worth every penny. It is equipped with everything you need. Especially the upper floor is a dream for children. Books, painting materials, TV and games. Our daughter didn't want to come downstairs
The large property offered enough space to romp around. Even table tennis was possible in bad weather, thanks to the roof. The house is also great for anglers, as the jetty and boat are right outside the door
We can only recommend the accommodation.

Wow
It was a wonderful 4 days at the vacation home by the blue lake.
Everything fits. The house is very child-friendly and dog-friendly equipped. The hosts are very nice and make an effort to ensure that everything goes well and that you feel comfortable.

House by the Blue Lake
The landlord was very friendly and accommodating. After a nice and uncomplicated welcome and a tour of the house with further tips, for example shopping possibilities, the landlord said goodbye kindly, and we had the entire house and property with our own access to the lake with a pedal boat and rowboat to ourselves. The house is very comfortably equipped and we lacked nothing. Our dog felt completely comfortable and had all the possibilities to romp around on the property and even take a dip in the lake. Even on rainy days, the house offers enough opportunities for activities indoors. We enjoyed the tranquility by the lake and were able to truly take a break from the hectic everyday life. We can only highly recommend this property and will definitely spend our vacation here again.

Spitzenklasse
The house is top class. Clean rooms, large sauna, large property down to the lake, boats are available, here you can really enjoy a nice vacation. Next to the main road, there is a long bike path where you can walk directly into the nearby forest with your dog. It is a 5-minute drive to Sternberg. There are wonderful hiking trails around the Sternberger Lakes. Oh, and you should definitely visit the landlord's fishery in Dabel. Here you can get really big portions of fish dishes. And the fish soup is excellent.

We, the Dehmel family, are a fishing family with a long tradition. Since 1929, the grandfather, Paul Quandt, ran the Sternberg pond farm. Under his management developed into the largest pike hatchery in Europe at the time. Now his grandson Klaus-Dieter Dehmel has been working as a fisherman since 1975. From then on he runs the fishery and processing plant in Dabel as an independent master fisherman in Dabel, where his wife Jeannette also works. The eldest daughter, of a total of 5 children, is a fishmonger, so that the fishing tradition continues in the Dehmel family the Dehmel family continues to run the farm, which has a water area, a fish processing plant and an expanded trade. Since 2013, we have been renting out holiday flats on our fishing farm and in the surrounding area.
