The house "CASA A-GADDA-DA-VIDA" (in a garden of Eden) - named after the balade of the rockgroup Iron Butterfly - is located in the quiet residential area "Runjacica" at the top of the northwestern district of Premantura at a dead end road, directly adjoining to the protected woods of Premantura.
The village center with shops, numerous restaurants, ATMs, tourist offices, etc. is located in a distance of approximately a 10 minutes' walk.
The property has a large terrace with a lounge, bar and large fridge for drinks etc. from where you can enjoy a beautiful view to the sea and the bay of Medulin.
The house is located at the uppermost row of houses in the area Rujacica. Even during the high season from July to September our guests will find peace and quiet because no tourist facilities such as bars, nightclubs, restaurants are in indirect proximity to the house Approximately 200 m from the house you find a children's playground with fountains.
The house is about a 10 to 15 minutes walk away from 2 beautiful beaches. Premantura - a picturesque town with 450 residents - was first populated in the Bronze Age. It is the southernmost town in Istria. The most popular, famous and legendary indicator of Premantura is the long and narrow peninsula Kamenjak, km long and up to km wide, which extends like a long arm in the Adriatic. The protected nature reserve Kamenjak encircles a 30 km long coastline which is dotted with numerous coves and beautiful beaches. Its unique beauty is still perfected by the small islands which rise from the crystalline blue-green sea. The village has well-stocked stores, an ambulance and exchange offices. Premantura and its restaurants are known for an extraordinarily rich oyster bar. Of the many events and festivalsthe following two are recommended: The Crab Festival on May 1 and Lovrečevo on August 10, the most important festival, the Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of Premantura.

Top! Top! Top! Highly recommended!!!

The Hübner family's house in Premantura is truly just as described and has more than met our expectations. The location is simply top-notch and the view from the bedroom directly to the sea is absolutely outstanding. The amenities also leave nothing to be desired – everything is well thought out and you feel at home right away. Particularly noteworthy are the jacuzzi, which provides pure relaxation, as well as the perfectly functioning air conditioning in all rooms. The house is perfect for two families with children or for four couples with children. There are two spacious bedrooms with large double beds and a children's room with two bunk beds for a total of four children. In addition, there are three modern and very clean bathrooms that make the stay particularly comfortable. The kitchen is excellently equipped, so self-catering is also easily possible.

Everything is well-maintained, clean, and furnished with a lot of love. We can highly recommend this holiday home – a real insider tip for an unforgettable stay in Premantura!

Very satisfied. Dog-friendly...

We had a very great accommodation. The contact was very friendly from the beginning of the booking until departure, and it was a very nice experience. The adjacent pine forest is ideal for dogs, and it’s only 10-15 minutes to the sea. We didn’t miss anything in the amenities. The jacuzzi also invites for lovely summer nights. We recommend it and give a thumbs up. Would love to come again...

A beautiful, lovingly furnished house with a wonderful view.
The garden is a feel-good oasis, especially in the evening with the great lighting. The house is different from the usual holiday properties, it has a great, individual touch. Particularly noteworthy is the nice personal contact with Mrs. Hübner from booking to the end of the holiday. Every question was answered immediately. I felt very well looked after and informed.

Beautiful house with all the bells and whistles

We really enjoyed our stay. You don't have to think about anything. Towels, dish soap/tabs, washing machine powder, garbage bags, board games, PlayStation, beds made, everything is provided. Plenty of restaurants nearby, not too expensive and within walking distance. You need a car to get to the beach, but this way you also get to see more of the area. Quiet location, not as touristy as, for example, Medulin. Even in bad weather, it is very comfortable to stay in/around the house. The lighting and music system are great. We didn't use the BBQ because there are plenty of good places to eat in the area. We had a wonderful and relaxing week and can recommend the house. If you have any questions/comments, the caretaker Dave and Mrs. Hübner are always available. In short: It was great! Tip: You should arrive early to avoid waiting for hours at the border controls. Leave before 7 am to get through easily.

Perfect family vacation

We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) were allowed to spend 2 wonderful weeks of vacation in this beautiful house.

The location and equipment of the house are top-notch! We didn't miss a thing. We especially liked the great outdoor area with the jacuzzi, sun loungers, and the gas grill.

With the bikes provided, we went on exploration tours in the surrounding area, for example to the nature park "Cape Kamenjak." The surroundings of Premantura are beautiful, and the town itself offers everything a vacationer's heart desires. Of course, excursions to Pula or Rovinj should not be missed either.

The pre-care by Mrs. Hübner and the on-site support by Dave were excellent.
We would love to come back!

Everything is great

We spent a week in this beautiful vacation home as a couple. Since we arrived overnight, we were already in Premantura by 8 am, and since the apartment was available, we were able to check in early. The caretaker Dave showed us the apartment thoroughly and was always helpful. The individual rooms are very well equipped, each with air conditioning and a TV, and there are 3 bathrooms with showers, which, in my opinion, are a bit small. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, only the toaster didn't work so well as the bread quickly burned. The garden was also great, especially the Jacuzzi ensures absolute relaxation. A big plus is also the private garage where you can leave the car. We had our bikes with us, which, however, would not have been necessary, as several bikes are provided free of charge in the garage. The location is also very good because you can reach the first beaches within 10-15 minutes by bike without needing to use a car. Therefore, I can give a clear recommendation for the holiday home, whether it's just for two people or for several, as there is enough space available.

Vacation at Casa A-Gadda-da-Vida

I was in Casa A-Gadda-Da-Vida with my friend and a colleague from July 2nd to 8th, 2016. We had a very nice time in Croatia. In the town of Premantura, you can do the most important shopping. Larger shopping options are less than a 10-minute drive away. We arrived by car, which we could park in the garage directly under the house. The surrounding towns are simply fantastic. For example, we went on a quad tour in Medulin. From the house, you can explore the beautiful "Kamenjak Cape" National Park with bicycles. There are numerous beautiful beaches. Some of the beaches also have their own bar, such as the Safari Bar, where you can order food and drinks. In Pula, we also went go-karting, which was very affordable and a lot of fun. I also recommend a trip to Rovinj.

The house offers everything you need. The rooms are beautifully designed, and we all slept very comfortably. The jacuzzi is for absolute relaxation. We ate at home very often. The outdoor grill works great. The whole garden (including lighting) offers a great ambiance. We could easily watch the UEFA Euro games on the TV. The internet always worked and was fast (also suitable for streaming). The reception was very warm, and we were instructed on the most important things. The kitchen has all the essential facilities. The house was also very clean. Overall, there are 3 bathrooms, all with showers. We never had any problems with occupied bathrooms, etc.

We are likely to spend another week in this house next year. Highly recommended!

We were completely satisfied with everything and can highly recommend this fantastic holiday home in Premantura. Communication with Mrs. Hübner was always friendly and the information provided was very detailed. We felt well taken care of and supported even before our arrival. On site, there was a very friendly gentleman who showed us the house and provided us with useful tips with a lot of patience. The house itself is really equipped with everything. The amenities and technology are unbeatable. The surroundings are very beautiful and quiet. In 3 minutes by car, you can reach a fantastic nature reserve (Kamanjak) with many small coves. In the village (about 5 minutes on foot), there are many shops where you can get everything (small supermarket, bakery, ice cream parlor, souvenir shop, currency exchange, restaurants...). In short: with this holiday home, you are doing everything right.

Wir sind gegenwärtig ebenfalls vor Ort und konnten inzwischen von T-Com eine Set Top Box mit "German TV Package", d.h. den wichtigsten deutschen TV- Kanälen wie ARD, ZDF, 3SAT, SAT 1, RTL, VOX, Pro 7 etc. installieren. Leider ist unser Staatsfernsehen SRF im Package nicht enthalten, so dass wir immer noch mittels VPN-Changer gucken müssen.
