Another beautiful time!

Another wonderful time!

We spent our vacation this year again in Villa Agapi. Here we feel comfortable, hike through the olive groves and the mountains, and swim in the pool or the sea. Our host Manoli and his family spoil us every year with delicious Greek food and show us the most beautiful spots in the area. If we have questions, Bärbel is always available and always has valuable advice. The Villa Agapi offers everything you need on vacation, is very clean, and has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a view of the Psiloritis. We were not there for the last time with Manoli and Bärbel!

Like a second home

Pure relaxation

We had two and a half wonderful weeks at Manolis and enjoyed his special hospitality. The house and the pool leave nothing to be desired, and Pitsidia and the surrounding area enchant with their charm. Bärbel provides valuable tips for worthwhile discoveries and always has an open ear for all wishes and concerns, and during the stay, Nici regularly comes for interim cleaning of the house. We will come back!

Vacation, just as one could wish for.

We have already been guests at Manolis several times - that alone says how wonderful it is here: The house itself is clean and quiet, with two floors and a beautiful roof terrace, where we admired the starry sky in the evenings, as well as a terrace where you can have breakfast in the shade. It is equipped with everything you could wish for. The pool is perfect for cooling off. The location is great too: In the evenings, you can walk to many restaurants in just a few minutes; the beautiful beach is a 10-minute drive away - we went there every day. But what really makes this place special are the lovely people you meet here who go out of their way to make your vacation unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you for that!

Relaxing vacation

We have now been in one of Manoli's houses for the second time, which are all individually designed. The house is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped with everything you need - there really is nothing missing here. On the terrace, you can relax wonderfully and jump into the pool to cool off. Thanks to Bärbel, everything went smoothly again, she takes care of everything and is there to help with advice and action. Manolis's hospitality is hard to beat, he spoiled us with treats almost daily - melons, omelettes, oil.

It was another unforgettable holiday.

Great vacation in the warmest June in 20 years on Crete.

This year we wanted to visit Crete before the hot summer months started,
but it didn't work out, the temperatures were already over 30 degrees Celsius every day.
Thanks to the good air conditioning in the holiday home and the refreshing pool, we could bear it excellently, so we spent another super relaxing holiday on Manoli's holiday complex this year. Together with the nice guests from the other houses, we enjoyed exciting excursions, meals together, and of course the traditional barbecue.

Wonderful time at the villa

We had a wonderful week at Villa Agapi. It is well equipped and tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the seating area in front of the house. Manoli is a great host, he spoiled us with fresh fruit and his cooking skills. We could relax wonderfully at the pool. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful holiday house in small complex with pool

This holiday house ensemble offers a wonderful atmosphere with beautifully blooming and fragrant plants. We immediately felt comfortable and the contact with the owner and service was particularly warm. The invitation to a Greek dinner for the guests topped everything off.

The Villa Agapi can accommodate four people and has 2 beautiful terraces to relax on. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is very clean and the service is pleasant all around.
The holiday house is centrally located on the edge of the village, the beach and sea can be reached after 2.5 km.
We will be back!

Again wonderful!

We were guests of Manoli for the 4th time this summer, the 2nd time in our favorite villa Agapi with the great rooftop terrace, where you can sit beautifully under the stars, among other things.
Being a guest of Manoli doesn't just mean staying there. It could be that he brings you a homemade omelette or a fruit salad in the morning. Once a week, he cooks for all the guests in the outdoor kitchen, where they eat together.
If there is anything to arrange, Bärbel takes care of it immediately, warmly, and competently. Nikki reliably and friendly ensures that everything is clean and tidy.
Pitsidia is a village for individual travelers without hotel buildings, with nice taverns. The nearby Komos beach is beautiful, and there is so much nature and culture to discover in the area.
I could write much more, in short: we will be back!

Relaxing vacation

Very nice reception and very nice stay, we lacked nothing. The landlord is very attentive and regularly provided us with fruit. An evening organized by him with all guests of the complex and tasting of local dishes pleased us. According to our experience, the accommodation is fully recommended.

Dreamlike

We had the tip from friends. If you want to chill out a bit away from mass tourism, this is the place for you. Great complex with 5 separate houses with a beautiful large pool, 2 of which have their own small one. Great individually and lovingly designed houses by Manoli, the very warm-hearted owner. The information about the facilities is 100% correct! Top equipment, never experienced anything like it before. The support from Bärbel (German, good soul living there for years) is excellent! If you have any questions or problems..? Bärbel is always there. The hospitality is great. Manoli invites all his guests once a week to a dinner he prepares at the long table on the premises. Unforgettable. Good starting point for various activities. Rental car required. Will definitely come again. It was just great and more than top value for money.

Wonderful

Already on the way to Pitsidia, the anticipation of a wonderful holiday away from the mainstream increases.
A village with flair for those who like it quiet.
The "Dream Factory" for breakfast, the "Rafties" for the evening.
And in between, plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Greek way of life.
Matala is only a few minutes away, what a chance to return to the good old days.
And the fantastic view of the beaches at sunset from the Tavern Vrachos.
And in between, the peaceful life between pool, terrace, roof terrace.
Pure luxury!
After this time, it is clear to us on the way home:

... the most beautiful 2 weeks 2022

We were Manolis' guests for the 5th time, which I think says everything about the quality of his accommodation. Just pure holiday, ideal to get away from the hectic everyday life in Germany. We were also able to visit Manolis' latest project, the apartment house, which is a few hundred metres away and will soon be completed. Not to be outdone in creativity... Dream Holidays in Crete

We love the south of Crete and have often spent holidays there with our children
This was the first time we stayed in this accommodation and we will definitely come back
We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable in the house
The children could let off steam in the communal pool and we could all relax together when we weren't at the beach
Pitsidia is a great starting point for many excursions
And what impressed us most was the hospitality of Manolis, Bärbel and Nicci
Bärbel helped us with all our questions, had great tips for excursions and restaurant visits and looked after us in the best possible way
The evenings at the long table, where we were deliciously fed, are unforgettable
We still think back to this wonderful time every day and can hardly wait for our next holiday

Perfect holiday

Everything was just right here.
Even the booking through Bärbel went completely without complications.
Bärbel also organised the booking of a rental car for us.
It was our first holiday in Villa Agapi.
Everything was cordial and we immediately felt at home.
Manoli is a great landlord and spoiled us every now and then with delicious fruit or an omelette.
He also invited us and the other guests to a BBQ.
The house is clean and excellently furnished, even an intermediate cleaning took place.

Another wonderful time!

We have now been to Manoli for the third time, this time staying at Villa Agapi, and felt completely comfortable. Particularly beautiful, in addition to the individual, loving design, is the rooftop terrace. There, we sat under the starry sky in the evenings, and my husband even stayed there overnight a couple of times. The pool is great, especially in the summer when it's hot and you want to cool off in between. Manoli occasionally spoiled his guests with a convivial evening, during which he cooked delicious food for everyone and they all sat together outside. Bärbel was always helpful and very, very nice for any questions. Niki kept the house perfectly tidy and surprised us with melons that she left for us. The whole atmosphere was warm and relaxed. A perfect holiday in late summer 2021

After the summer in Germany was very restrained this year, we were able to extend it by 10 sunny days in Pitsidia in September at least once. For the first time this year, we had a taxi pick us up from the airport, which was very convenient due to the early arrival, and the early taxi ride back to the airport was absolutely stress-free. The arrangement of a car through a local provider by Bärbel also worked completely smoothly. Between arrival and departure were very relaxing days in Manolis' resort, we felt very welcome once again, nothing was missing.
Thanks to the whole team for a very nice holiday!

Warm host and great holiday homes in the heart of Pitsidia

The holiday homes are located in the middle of Pitsidias. Manolis built the houses himself and designed them with great attention to detail. The houses are spotlessly clean and superbly equipped.

Pitsidias is a nice little village with several charming taverns, cafes, and supermarkets. Nearby, there are numerous beaches, bays, and starting points for hikes. It's about a 20-minute walk to Komos Beach, in short, the location is perfect!

Manolis is a great host. He cooked several times and supplied us with fresh fruit from the garden. Bärbel took care of the administrative tasks and was always available as a contact person. At the end of our vacation, the Greek lockdown started. Bärbel informed us excellently about everything, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation in peace.

Großzügiges Haus für 4

In advance, the professional, reliable support from Bärbel Lohmann stood out, including a good directions. The house was spacious, lovingly furnished, and the kitchen lacked nothing. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Manolis, the landlord and designer of the property, spoiled us with fruit and vegetables from the garden and cooked us royally in his open kitchen. The pool area offered several sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and an outdoor shower. The pool was spacious with great water quality and always clean. Within walking distance, there are several unique bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets. We particularly liked Livas and Marcos. The nearest beach (Komos) can be reached in under 10 minutes by car. In the end, saying goodbye to Manolis was not easy for us. Thank you! ! !

A piece of paradise in Crete...

We had a very nice time in Crete. It was both our summer vacation and a break from the stress of the coronavirus. The holiday resort that Manolis has created looks very beautiful, even better than in the photos. The house was very clean, was thoroughly cleaned in the middle of our stay, and we felt very comfortable there. Right after our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Bärbel and Manolis. We received a plate of fresh fruits and a very delicious welcome omelette.

The beaches in the area are very spacious, and there is also plenty of room around the pool, so you can easily avoid other holidaymakers if needed.

The calmness and friendliness of the Cretans were noticeable everywhere.

Paradiesisch

We were in the complex for the second time, this time in Villa Agapi. We've been home for a few hours now and already miss Manolois + family and Bärbel.

Recreation and relaxation from beginning to end.

We can fully agree with the previous positive reviews of the accommodation in all respects. In addition, Bärbel had organized a German-speaking taxi driver for us who brought us relaxed from the airport to the accommodation. Bärbel was always available during our stay. And... Manoli is a particularly warm host. His olive oil also makes our dishes at home very tasty and reminds us of the beautiful holiday days. We also explored and enjoyed Pitsidia and the surrounding area on foot.
With the great accommodation and the lovely people, Bärbel, Dimitrie, and Manoli, booking a holiday with a "carefree package" is fantastic.

Ein wundervoller Urlaub

We were in this complex with 10 people in April and stayed in three houses. This way we could all be together but also retreat if we wanted to. On the evening of our arrival, we were welcomed with a great dinner by Manolis, his wife Vrosso, and Bärbel. This warmth lasted throughout the vacation, you can tell they care about the guests' well-being. The houses are great, we could check them all out since we were alone at the beginning. Manolis brings all his creativity, skills, and passion to the design there.
And Marianna, Asproula, and Stella (pony, sheep, goose) and the other animals are not only great for the little ones.
Crete is always worth a vacation with its nature and beautiful beaches.

A very nice eventful holiday

This year we were again in Pitsidia with Manolis. We were again very warmly welcomed by Manolis and Bärbel. The welcome traditionally includes a very tasty omelette with salad and a drink. We felt very comfortable in our holiday home "Agapi". A highlight is the new original pool on this beautiful oasis. You don't always have to go to the beach, you can make yourself very comfortable there. Special features are also the barbecues. The food is so excellent and varied, the holidaymakers get to know each other and the atmosphere is great. Thanks to the family who prepared everything very well. Beautiful and relaxing!

We were in Pitsidia with two children (6 years) and really enjoyed the week away from the tourist miles. Despite the high season, which was hardly noticeable there. The house was very beautiful and tasteful with many lovely details. There was nothing that was missing from our point of view. The pool was great, the place very idyllic, the people very friendly. There are also very beautiful beaches nearby. In any case, a car is recommended. Manoli was an excellent and sympathetic host, Bärbel supported us wherever she could and was very nice and unagitated. We felt very comfortable and are thinking about coming again.

It was beautiful.

Five special houses in the mini-village with summer kitchen and pool in a green oasis. References to Hundertwasser, Miro, and lots of Manolis everywhere. Wonderful! In the middle, Villa Agapi (Emmanouli) with views of the greenery or the mountains and great for two. Personal welcome with a huge fruit/vegetable basket, pastries, and olive oil, almost daily small attentions from their own harvest, and the Greek barbecue with family and us guests is just amazing! Fantastic! Pitsidia offers a lot: butcher, baker, mini-markets, restaurants. Great that the nearby Onira with delicious food and great jewelry from the owner. The amazing Manolis, his team, and the always approachable, lovely Bärbel ensure that you immediately arrive and feel at home. A true highlight in our long vacation rental experience. We would have loved to stay longer.

Familiar friendliness

It is a beautiful area with artistically designed holiday homes, each one uniquely designed. Shortly after our arrival, Manolis was already on our veranda with a fabulous omelette and homemade olive oil. You just have to love these people, they are very nice and totally uncomplicated. Bärbel can always be approached or called, she is always there to help, a fantastic, tough woman. She gave us valuable excursion tips. For me, she was like a friend. The shared barbecues were sensational, you get to know the whole family and friends. Vacation in a green oasis

For 3 years now, we have felt very comfortable and well taken care of in the small oasis of Manolis. The welcome upon arrival is very warm, and the initial hunger is satisfied with a hearty omelet. Bärbel was also there right away, showed us the house, and gave hints and tips. The green oasis, with the blooming trees, the dear little and larger animals, a change for young and old, simply a place to feel good. Manolis always cares about the well-being of the guests, and we were often surprised with culinary delights. Niki is the good soul who keeps the houses clean and is always in a good mood and friendly. It was a great time again, we will come back. Alles war bestens bei Manolis

Everything was perfect!

Beautiful surroundings - dream beaches - monasteries - excavations.
Perfect kitchen, comfortable beds, rooftop terrace with a beautiful view over the village and countryside.
The houses, built in Manolis' individual style, are arranged in a way that allows for a relaxed communal living.
Everything well maintained by Niki, and if there were any questions, Bärbel was there to help. On Wednesdays, we were invited to an opulent barbecue where the neighbors could get to know each other over wine, meat, and fish. This led to pleasant acquaintances, which were later deepened thrillingly on the gorge hike to the secluded beach led by Manolis.
We fondly remember the time in Pitsidias and will certainly return gladly!

Great location for a vacation for two!

During our stays in and around Pitsidia, we are usually not "at home" much. However, we really enjoy having a comfortable and clean accommodation for resting, showering, a nightcap, and a good night's sleep. Villa Agapi is perfect for that. Additionally, the house is nestled in a small complex with 5 houses. The landlord and the very nice manager ensure that you always have a contact person, and during a weekly barbecue for all guests, you can have conversations and enjoy Cretan hospitality. Highly recommended!
