In the midst of the Oberharz forests, surrounded by mountains and lakes, our cosily furnished flat awaits you in the Hahnenklee holiday park. In house 1 of the building ensemble, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding forests on the 4th floor high above the roofs of Hahnenklee. A balcony in front of the living room invites you to take in the refreshing forest air, far away from the traffic.
In bad weather, you can unwind on the living room couch with reading or watching cable TV. Or take advantage of the varied leisure activities on offer at Ferienpark Hahnenklee for the lazy, the active and the epicurean.
With the well-equipped kitchenette, you can cater for your own physical well-being in the usual way. Two bedrooms are your nightly retreat with unconsumed air.

Hahnenklee /Holiday park and leisure: The holiday resort of Hahnenklee is a special place. Situated on a sun-open, approx. 600 m high plateau, it is framed by colourful mountain meadows, clear lakes and dark spruce forests. Wonderful hiking trails and a cable car take you up to the Bocksberg with its magnificent view of the village and the Harz forests and mountains.

Hahnenklee has had a snow-making system since 2002. This means that skiing is possible even when there is no snowfall forecast. Hiking trails and access to the cross-country ski trail right behind the house. The pedestrian zone in the centre of the village invites you to linger with its shops and the rich offer of lovingly designed and decorated cafes and restaurants. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a cable car, ski lifts, downhill runs of varying difficulty (one of which is technically snow-covered), an illuminated toboggan run and a ski school as well as around 22 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and a natural ice rink on the Bocksberg. From spring to autumn, the Harzklub branch in Hahnenklee offers expertly guided hikes in the surrounding spruce and mixed forests. The Waldseebad is in such an idyllic location that many describe it as the most beautiful natural swimming pool in the Harz. Visitors sunbathe on natural forest meadows or under the shade of the trees, which in places venture right up to the shore. The lake's water surface, which is almost seven football fields in size, is also ideal for relaxing. A special kind of jewel is the Nordic Stave Church, which was built exclusively of wood in 1907 and 1908. Many stylistic features on and in the building are reminiscent of the way Viking ships were built: e.g. dragon heads on the gables and Midgard snakes on the roof ridge. The name "nave" is probably derived from this period. Today, the stave church is one of the most popular wedding churches in the Harz Mountains. In all seasons, Hahnenklee offers its guests the guarantee of a relaxing and varied stay. In addition to rest and relaxation, you will also find fun and entertainment as part of an extensive programme of events. A special highlight is the Hahnenklee Walpurgis celebration. Every year on 30 April, Hahnenklee offers a hellishly hot treat when thousands of young and old visitors join in the witch's spook and mummers' dance around the blazing Walpurgis fire to celebrate the start of May! A trip to the 1000-year-old imperial town of Goslar with its world cultural heritage site "Rammelsberg" is highly recommended, there are very good bus connections!See also *

Cancellation terms:
For guests who have not taken out travel cancellation insurance: If the tenant withdraws from the contract, the landlord is entitled to charge a reasonable compensation. The notification of withdrawal must be made in writing to the landlord. The compensation is as follows: From the day of booking and up to 80 days before arrival: 10% of the total price (minimum 50.00 EUR); from 79 to 40 days before arrival: 25% of the total price (minimum 50.00 EUR); from 39 to 14 days before arrival: 85% of the total price (minimum 50.00 EUR); up to 13 days before arrival: 90% of the total price (minimum 50.00 EUR).

A good holiday apartment for a family with one or two children, close to the center.
The holiday apartment is well-equipped and completely adequate for a short vacation.

The apartment was practically and comfortably furnished and above all, spotlessly clean. The communication with the hostess was very warm and caring. She took loving care of everything! We will definitely recommend the accommodation. The suggestions for excursions were also nice. The price-performance ratio is totally fine.

Pleasant flat in holiday complex also well suited for disabled and senior citizens.
Well maintained holiday flat in the Harz mountains with everything you need. Also suitable for seniors and disabled people, as there is a lift in the house and a ramp downstairs for the luggage trolley. The luggage can be transported comfortably to the entrance of the flat. Also suitable for families, close to swimming pool, playground and fitness facilities. The landlady is very friendly and accommodating, and has prepared lovely welcome presents for her guests!
