Relaxing stay

We were here for a week in September with our dog, and despite the mixed weather, it was a wonderful stay! The house is small and cozy, and the location is dreamy! Perfect for us, 2 adults + dog! Parking just a few steps from the house!

We have never been so close to the beach.
The house is perfectly located. We sat undisturbed in the garden. At first, we heard the joggers, the cyclists, and the cheerful people. We thought they were passing by our house. Then we really became aware of how close we are to the sea and laughed. The garden was a great joy for our dogs, and we also spent a lot of time there. In the house, there is everything one needs; we enjoyed cooking ourselves in this kitchen, going out to eat was no longer important to us. After a tiring and beautiful day, we also liked to spend the evenings in front of the television. Unfortunately, I found the sofa a bit uncomfortable and one or two cushions would have been nice to lean on. The sinks in the room only had cold water; we quickly got used to getting warm water in the kitchen for brushing our teeth. Thank you for the beautiful vacation.

Great affordable little house directly on the beach!

The little house is great! Visually a bit "aged," but equipped with everything you need! Dishwasher, oven, microwave, decent mattresses, TV, Wi-Fi, etc. The garden is beautifully large, and the dogs enjoyed relaxing in the sun after a long day at the beach. The location is unbeatable!!! It's the second to last house in a dead-end street, so there's no through traffic, and it's located right behind the dunes. After a few meters, you reach the staircase to the beach.
We had a great time and will definitely come back!!! ?

Great location

The little house is very close to a beautiful beach, just up the stairs and you're there. It lacks nothing in terms of amenities. The only thing that bothered us were the pigeons that had... everything in the outdoor area, but the landlord can't do anything about that. The cleanliness of the outdoor furniture bothered us a bit too. One should also consider renovating the wooden house, otherwise there won't be any wood left in a few years. But otherwise, a very nice contact and affordable. Thank you.

Quiet and beautifully situated

A quietly situated holiday cottage directly behind the dike. The amenities are great; those who enjoy cooking will be fully satisfied. Ghent and Bruges are easily accessible. On the way to Bruges, we discovered the charming little town of Sluis, right at the Belgian border. Shopping, strolling, and delicious food make it a hotspot. To balance things out, one can go to the beach or to Breskens to wind down the day.

Beautiful vacation

I spent a wonderful and relaxing week with my dog in this cozy holiday cottage.
The cottage is quietly located in a large garden and offers everything you need.
The proximity to the beach is absolutely perfect.
All information about the stay is provided before arrival, which makes things easier.
Communication with Mrs. Beckmann is very warm, and she is always reachable, or responds promptly. I can definitely recommend this accommodation and would be happy to come back.

Perfect holiday home for a relaxing vacation by the sea.

We spent a dreamlike week with our children and our dog in this beautiful holiday home right by the beach. The location is simply unbeatable – just a few steps and you’re already standing with your feet in the sand!

The house itself is just as described in the listing – small but nice: cozy, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The fact that the house is a bit older did not bother us. We were prepared for that thanks to the description. Especially the large garden with lawn is a highlight – perfect for kids to play and for our dog, who enjoyed the freedom.

Also, the tranquility around the house is a big plus. You really feel like you're all by yourself, even though you're so close to the sea. Our children had a lot of fun while our dog loved the beach and the garden. We consciously chose this house because it offers a good price-performance ratio compared to other houses (in the park), especially during the holiday season.

We will definitely come back!

Unbeatable location and super nice landlord.

We have now spent our vacation in Breskens for the second consecutive year, even in the houses of Mrs. Beckmann. A very nice contact, everything is uncomplicated and the communication is always very pleasant - simply great.
The house has the perfect location, right by the beach and super quiet. We enjoyed it very much. Nothing is missing, the garden is large, and one can also spend time there nicely. The house is a bit older, but we think that adds to its charm. Here and there a few modernizations would certainly be necessary, but the landlord will take care of that for sure.
The sinks are in the bedrooms, but you can get used to that.
Ms. Beckmann responds immediately if you have any complaints, that's simply great.
We would gladly come back; we enjoyed it very much. The location is just top-notch! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Thank you once again, and we're already looking forward to next year.

A nice week in a small but fine holiday cottage.

We spent a beautiful week in this little vacation house.
Everything you need for a cozy holiday is available.
The weather was nice and we enjoyed our breakfast in the garden.
The beach is in close proximity, about 50 meters away.

Schön und erholsam

I spent a week here in the summer with my 6-year-old daughter. It was great. The cottage is in a great location. You only have to walk a short distance, and you're already at the stairs, with a great view of the sea and beach from the top. The house has a wonderful garden where kids can play. Everything you need is in the house. I was slightly surprised by the "wet room"; it had a toilet and a shower, but no sink. Sinks are in both bedrooms. Once you get used to it, it's actually quite practical.
We felt comfortable all around!

Vacation at the North Sea

Very nice quiet location, 2 minutes to the beach. Even in bad weather, the accommodation offers the opportunity to enjoy fresh air on the sheltered terrace. Lots of space, very clean. Very friendly landlords! I will come back.

Perfect for relaxation

I recently spent a week in the small, sweet cottage with a good friend. Everything you need was there. The location is truly perfect; you can reach the beach in 2 minutes. Communication with the landlady is great too. There was a small issue with the heating, but it was resolved so quickly and easily that it was immediately forgotten. Thank you for a very lovely week. I can only recommend everyone to vacation there.

Family with one child on a beautiful sandy beach in a cosy little house

Spontaneous short holiday for three!
The owner was very friendly and very reliable. The little house has everything you need. From the outside you wouldn't think it was so spacious. The photo showing the stairs to the beach is really close, so you can see the beautiful beach directly when you get to the top. Our daughter (11 years) also had a lot of fun with the kite, bike, trampoline, beach and sea - there is really nothing missing! The house is very lovingly furnished and above all it is clean, the shops are easily accessible (also by bike). We enjoyed it very much and would rent it again at any time
