Detached house for 5 people right on the beach. It is only 60 meters from the beach and sea in the attractive fishing village of Breskens. If you are behind our house on the dike, you have a very nice view over the beach and sea (and Vlissingen). Nicely equipped house with tiled floors on the ground floor and oak floors upstairs. The house with about 156 sqm living area offers plenty of room for 5 people: large living room (27 sqm), kitchen (27 sqm), toilet bottom and top, satellite TV, stereo, washing machine, 5 plates stove, central heating (gas), DVD player, bathroom with shower and sink, large hall, 2 spacious bedrooms (21 sqm and 16 sqm). The ferry to Vlissingen is 10 minutes away by foot. A pet is allowed after consultation. The beaches of Breskens / Cadzand were in 2016 again the cleanest in Holland.
INTERNET: Internet is possible. You can at Camping Zeebad, Nieuwe Sluisweg 1, Internet purchase (one week costs Euro 19,50). This allows you to use the internet in our house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is on the beach, opposite Park Scheldeveste. We are private landlords who have only one home has to offer. The location is special, you are very close to the beach and sea. In our house there is a private parking for 2 cars. Our house is newly built in 2004 and very well insulated. We have set it up with love and do the cleaning themselves. See above. They are near Sluis, Cadzand Groede Aardenburg, Knokke (Belgium, 25 km), Brugge (Belgium, 30 km), Gent (Belgium, 60 km). The VVV (tourist information) in Breskens you can learn about all the excursions. Bicycle rental in Breskens possible. Nearby 3 indoor pools, fitness, tennis, etc. A trip to Walcheren (Vlissingen, Middelburg) Vlissingen-Breskens ferry is very nice.

Beautiful house!!
The house is lovingly furnished and you feel comfortable right away. A very well-equipped kitchen, large rooms, and everything is in very good condition and very clean. The location directly behind the dike is perfect. Very nice landlords, we will gladly come back.

Jewel of a house!
Last Christmas, our family (2 children and a dog) stayed in the beautiful home of Susan and Henk for a week. We have been vacationing in Zeeland for 12 years and have lived in quite a few houses, but this one is a gem! We were warmly welcomed by Henk, and then quickly went to see the house. All our expectations were exceeded. The house is very clean, cozy, warm, and has everything you need. As the cherry on top, Susan set up a Christmas tree for us... a lovely gesture that was priceless to us. You immediately feel at home! We are already looking forward to our next vacation :).

Simply wonderful!
This accommodation is really something special. Very spacious, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and located directly behind the dyke. Within a very short time you can walk to the beach. Simply perfect! The communication with the nice hosts went absolutely smoothly. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Pure relaxation at Villa Erholung with your dog!!!!

We visited this beautiful house for the second time and will go back again. Very nice landlords who have decorated the house very tastefully and comfortably. There has never been a reason for criticism for us. Mr. and Mrs. Schipper always have a kind word for everyone. Our dog is also a welcome guest because we also make sure to keep clean paws in the house. We should always remember it is not our property. So let's handle all the nice things here with care. Es war uns ein Fest
We had the pleasure of being guests for a week over Christmas. From the moment we entered, it became our home, so the parting was accordingly painful. Vacation at the Schipper family.
We stayed at the Schipper family's holiday home from June 5-12, 2020. It was exactly as described, a beautiful house. We immediately felt comfortable. Everything was clean and comfortably furnished. You didn't have to go across the street to the dunes, a small path behind the house led you there, great. Also, the correspondence with the Schipper family, especially during the time of Corona, was always very helpful. We will definitely come back at some point. It was the best holiday home we have had so far.

A dream - we will gladly come back!
For the second time, we spent a week in this beautiful and well-equipped holiday home. The amenities, surroundings, and cozy atmosphere made our stay once again an unforgettable time. The spacious and well-furnished rooms were very comfortable for 4 people and a dog. Even when it got a bit cooler, we found that the house is well-insulated and pleasant to heat due to its construction. We found the process with the very friendly landlords to be extremely pleasant. A little dream!
The holiday home is a dream! The location is perfect, and you don't want to leave. The owners are very nice, and the on-site handling was straightforward. The house lacks nothing. The rooms are spacious, and the garden is fenced, making it perfect for our dog. One can easily imagine living in this house forever, and that says it all. It is indeed a real home and not a small holiday bungalow.

Simply SUPER

Beautiful house, great location, fantastic view!
The house is very lovingly furnished, nothing is missing. The rooms are very large, beautiful fenced garden with a terrace behind the house. The location right on the dike is of course the best. We felt very comfortable with children and dog.

A great house, prime location, and superb landlord!
We spent the last New Year's Eve in this great house! After more than 20 years of various holiday homes in South Zealand/Breskens, this house is among the most beautiful! The equipment is complete, the furnishings very loving and pretty, it is very large (certainly over 150 sqm for a huge kitchen-living room, very large living room, 2 large bedrooms, bathroom, and extra toilet), then the absolutely fantastic location, right by the sea (40 meters up the dyke, 30 meters down the dyke and you are already at the sea). The beach is also very wide and beautiful at this point. 3 beach pavilions nearby and a 15-minute walk to the center of Breskens! We were thrilled and will definitely come back!
The landlords Susan and Henk are so nice that you immediately feel comfortable, just great!

Simply great :-)
We visited the Schipper family for the first time in early October and we are absolutely thrilled. Everything was just perfect - the beautiful well-kept house with plenty of space and very nice landlords. Of course, the unbeatable short direct path behind the house to the sea deserves 10 stars. A beautifully and lovingly completely furnished house to feel comfortable. Very nice and helpful landlords. I did wonderful day trips to France. Otherwise, I walked on the beach with my Jack Russell.

Great house!
We were in Breskens for the first time with two small children and our first time as guests of the Schipper family. And it was really a very nice vacation. We felt comfortable right away when we entered the house. The children also loved it. Our daughter especially liked the secret path behind the house!
We have already booked for next year and are looking forward to two weeks next year.

Beautiful!
This house is an absolute paradise of well-being! It is so lovingly decorated that you really feel at home. There are individual decorations, not just the standard equipment that is often found in vacation apartments/houses. The couple de Schipper were extremely accommodating and, because we had to leave early due to a death, offered to make up for the missed vacation days and come back. We were happy about this friendly and, in our opinion, truly exceptional hospitality. Thank you again for that!
Unfortunately, I am submitting this review much too late, and the exact travel date is further back than I can specify here in the review; we got to know Breskens and this wonderful holiday home in November 2013... I apologize for the late feedback, but I think today (22.03.17): better late than never! :-)

Perfect for a break at the beach!
For several years, we have been spending our autumn holidays here very happily (4-person family with dog). Besides the very close beach location, we especially like the tasteful furnishings of the cozy house, the large well-equipped kitchen, and the beautiful gardens.
