Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is lovingly and comfortably furnished for a maximum of 3 people and offers everything for a relaxing vacation.
The chalet is about 40m2 in size and is located directly on a canal with its own boat/fishing pier. It has a cozy living-dining area with 1 Ektorp sofas, a dining table with 4 chairs, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, etc., two bedrooms with a total of 3 sleeping options, a bathroom with shower, toilet, and washbasin, high-quality wallpapers and floor coverings throughout.
For relaxation, there is a garden with a sun terrace and a high plateau, as well as a jetty directly on the canal.
There is free Wi-Fi and cable television. Fishing in the canals and the carp pond is allowed without a fishing license, as it is private water.
The rental price includes the additional costs for electricity, water, gas and .
A spa/local tax of 2.00€ per person and night will be added.
A deposit of 100€ is also required.
The IJsselmeer can be reached from the mobile home/chalet on foot in 5 minutes, as it is located opposite the park. Just a minute away from the chalet is the large lake where you can also fish, as well as swim and boat.
A canal tour is a very special experience and in Holland, you can drive boats up to a certain size without a boating license.
There is a boat rental right in the park.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities in Wervershoof and Medemblik; easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. The next small convenience store is located 900m away from the campground. 2 very well-stocked supermarkets and a small shopping arcade can be found in the center of Wervershoof. Other stores, such as Aldi, Lidl, Albert Heijn, are quickly and conveniently accessible by car. Located right on the IJsselmeer and close to the old and historic harbor towns of Medemblik, Enkhuizen, and Hoorn (the so-called historical triangle), the young and modern city of Lelystad with the famous Bataviastad outlet center, the global city of Amsterdam, or the North Sea with its wide beaches, the park is an ideal starting point for all kinds of excursions, whether on foot, by bicycle, car, or boat. Alkmaar, Bergen, Callantsoog, Schoorl, Haarlem, Anna Paulowna, Haarlingen, Urk, Makkum, Andijk, Lemmer, etc., are quickly reached destinations for excursions.
On the green shores of the IJsselmeer, you will find exactly what you are looking for: peace, relaxation, and yet plenty of variety is provided. A paradise for children, water sports enthusiasts of all kinds, cyclists, recreational or sport fishermen, and nature lovers.
About 400 meters away, there is a recreation area with green lawns and sandy beaches. Additional beautiful beaches can be found in this nature reserve of the Vooroever towards Medemblik and Andijk.
For instance, explore the diverse birdlife while taking a walk along the green shores of the IJsselmeer.
Moreover, the North Sea invites you to swim and hike with its beautiful beaches. For example, the small towns of Petten with its wonderfully newly created huge beach or Camperduin, where a new lagoon has been created in which children can swim safely, are about 35 minutes away. Wervershoof is a small town directly on the IJsselmeer near the historic triangle of Medemblik, Enkhuizen, and Hoorn.

Just take a deep breath!
We really needed to feel the peace and quiet, come to ourselves and go back down and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Super cute accommodation, small but nice and very clean! You are equipped with everything you need. It takes less than half an hour to walk along the IJsselmeer, past small stretches of beach, to Medemblik, one of the beautiful harbour towns on the IJsselmeer.

Highly recommended!
We felt so comfortable in this little dream cottage. Everything is so well thought out. It lacks nothing, on the contrary, the cottage is equipped as comfortably as home. And super clean and well maintained. It really looks like the photos. Here you can feel the love for the cottage and also for us guests!
Thanks to the excursion tips on the website, we spent beautiful days here and also really recovered!
Clearly, we will come back!
