The house has a soul, you immediately feel at home and not in a holiday home, from the grill to the pool to the stylish interior - nothing is missing. Ein absoluter Geheimtip

This holiday home is wonderful. Not only is the equipment top-notch, but also the loving decoration of the holiday home and on-site support are perfectly organized. If something should happen, a German-speaking house manager is available on site at any time. We can absolutely recommend this property and will definitely book again ourselves! Small tip: There is the possibility to rent a boat at the private jetty, which you should definitely not miss out on.

Relaxation and pure recreation

Villa Mama, the perfect house for relaxing and rejuvenating. The rooms are very stylish and meticulously decorated with love. Very clean and well-maintained. The view from the terrace overlooking the canal is breathtaking. The accompanying pool provides delightful refreshment. Combined with the house's own boat, the vacation is perfect. Observing dolphins and pelicans in their natural habitat is worth seeing. At the same time, you can visit numerous interesting bars (Dollarbar, etc.). The care provided by the Wessel family was excellent. Thank you very much again.

The best thing that could happen to us in the winter!

We spent two wonderful weeks in this lovingly furnished house. Our two children (16 years and 9 years old) were also totally thrilled and would have preferred to stay there forever. We especially liked the western location of the terrace and the pool. This way we could enjoy the sun and the view until sunset. Renting the house's own boat (for 7 days) was a very good decision for all of us, even though I had never driven a boat myself before and was initially rather skeptical. All in all, absolutely recommended.

"Relaxation week" at Villa Mama after a Southern tour

First of all, many thanks to the Wessel family and the on-site support from the property management. Everything went very well and we felt completely at home!

We had previously travelled the southern states for 2 weeks in a rental car and scrubbed a lot of miles... So the week at Villa Mama was just what we needed. A really great house that lacked nothing! The furnishings, the interior design, etc. -> we liked it very much! We used the pool every day and it was just the right way to cool off. Otherwise, we can only repeat what the previous reviews already provided.

Summer, Sun, Florida

We spent our summer holiday in Florida with our two children (8, 13 years old) and used Villa Mama as a starting point for an extensive excursion programme. The holiday home is very spacious and impresses with its generous furnishings. The villa is bright, friendly and furnished with great attention to detail. The bright rooms reflect the Florida sun. All amenities are available to make your holiday even more perfect. The equipment includes a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, washing machine, dryer and much more. The bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and are suitable for allergy sufferers. We used the pool every day. Dinner could be enjoyed on the terrace at sunset.

Relaxing vacation after Florida tour

We arrived with 2 families, each with 2 adults and a 6-year-old child, and felt comfortable from the first moment. Great bright, friendly, cozy decor, generous equipment (kitchen accessories, large washing machine, dryer, large cooler bag for the beach, and more). Very nice landlords who are keen on providing their guests with a wonderful time in their dream house. The pool can be set to a nice warm temperature, all the furniture is top-notch, and the two walk-in closets were an extra joy for us women. Cape Coral itself is a fantastic place from which you can see a lot. We will be back! Can only recommend the house!

Now it's been almost a year since we spent Christmas and New Year in this beautiful house, and we still remember it fondly... The location is excellent, everything is available in the house (we really enjoyed the pool and grill). Boat trips are almost a must, Mrs. Wessel is a helpful and friendly contact person - we just could have done without the cold snap...

Dream holiday in a dream house!

We spent the autumn vacation with our 4 children in the fantastic Villa Mama and were thrilled. Three bedrooms offer plenty of space for 6 people, so everyone had their own space and privacy. The location, the property, the pool, the view of the channel - all a dream vacation that we would love to recommend - and last but not least, the extremely friendly landlord family and the problem-free communication in advance contribute to a successful vacation. The facilities and maintenance condition of the house are impeccable. We rented a boat, which is highly recommended for exploring the surrounding canals and islands, and when you are also provided with excellent restaurant tips for docking, nothing stands in the way of a dream vacation! We would like to say thank you again and we will definitely come back!

Again and again!

We were there for the second time and can only report good things! Our next visit is practically already booked (waiting for the vacation approval.) But enough about us now. Such a villa is rarely found. It has a top location! Quiet and a paradise with the view of the canal. Since the canal is only used by the immediate residents, it is hardly frequented by other boats. So, one is not disturbed in their privacy. The sound of the waterfall in the pool immediately makes you feel refreshed. And the sun shines constantly on the terrace, of course there are options to retreat in the shade, but you don't have to worry about being forced to sit in the shade! We can only report good things about the Wessel family and their villa and highly recommend it! But it's best to form your own opinion and book :)

Beautiful vacation in the "Villa Mama"

A dreamily beautiful house decorated and maintained with much love. Whether you just want to relax on vacation or explore something, you have the opportunity to do so. The house has 3 spacious bedrooms with large king-size beds and plenty of storage space for clothes. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also an American-style grill on the terrace. The pool truly invites you to relax with its view of the canal. The sports offer in the area is really extensive.

House is in a quiet location with a boat dock and a great pool.
The view from the house overlooking the canals is superb.
The house itself is large, clean, and bright.
The surroundings are very well maintained.
We stayed for 3 weeks and it was great.
We are now back in Germany and we really miss the pool!
The care provided by H. Rothausen (on-site) and the Wessel family is top-notch!

Erholung pur

We (4 adults) stayed in this magnificent villa for 10 days. The drive by rental car from Fort Myers airport (direct flights are offered from Düsseldorf) to the villa took about 40 minutes. Upon arrival, one immediately feels comfortable in the very well-maintained and clean accommodation. In our opinion, the house lacks nothing. From the terrace/pool, you can enjoy a lovely view of the canal. The villa is flooded with light due to its many windows and is very tastefully decorated. We rented a boat to navigate through the canal to reach the Gulf of Mexico and the numerous islands directly off the coast. With some luck, dolphins can also be spotted there. For those who want, after about a 1.5-hour drive, you can reach the Everglades and admire alligators in their habitat. Unfortunately, the 10 days passed by too quickly, so I say until next time!

Great vacation in March 2017

We stayed in the Wessel family's house with 4 adults and two children for three weeks. Everything was very beautiful and fully furnished. Sufficient chairs and umbrellas are available for the beach. The pool was heated well for the children. With a boat, you can reach the river in 30 minutes. There are already dolphins in the canal as well. It was a lovely time. The house is recommended.

Perfect Relaxation Vacation

The three of us spent a week in the house. The furnishings left nothing to be desired. Incredibly large beds, a wonderful living room, a great kitchen, and a terrace with a pool and a view of the river. Everything was perfect. Shopping facilities were just around the corner. Fabulous vacation in Florida

We inhabited the villa with 6 people and were impressed by both the location and the amenities. The entire house is wonderfully maintained and tastefully furnished. Quiet location at the end of one of the canals that run through the area. Large supermarket with 24/7 opening hours less than a 2-minute drive away. The only disadvantage of the location is that it takes about 30 minutes by boat before reaching the open sea, as the speed in the channels is restricted. The pool and garden were regularly serviced during the stay. The house was instructed and checked at the end by very friendly German-speaking support. Along with the fabulous weather in Florida, it was a great vacation.

Dream vacation !!!!

We were the first guests at Villa Mama and are more than delighted! The villa is lovingly furnished, and you feel comfortable from the very first second. Each room is filled with a lot of love, and many small details make it very personal and pleasant. The location is perfect. You feel not observed from any side, and the presence of the river directly by the villa adds a special charm to the whole place! We were able to really unwind on vacation and literally let our souls dangle. One didn't even know what to look forward to more. To the restful night in the more than cozy bed or to the day relaxing by the pool or dock.
Additionally, the location is very central. We visited Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Daytona, Miami Beach, and the island of Sanibel) and were very centrally located among all the attractions. We also used the kitchen and the grill and have to say that nothing is missing! The grill even convinced us so much that we will get a Weber grill next. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils.
The room layout is also very pleasant. Everyone has their privacy and can therefore find peace and quiet. And last but not least, we would like to give a huge praise to the Wessel family who made this vacation possible for us. We can only say positive things about the family. They made our vacation the dream holiday we have always wished for!

We can highly recommend this villa and find it very difficult to put into words, because you simply have to experience it! ! ! We are looking forward to our next vacation at Villa Mama and hope that you have already decided from the photos and description because we can only say "In reality, everything looks even better!".
