Dream House from A to Z

We, 9 adults, were thrilled with everything we found. There is no criticism - only great praise: Great equipment - nothing was missing! Friendly host and very lovingly furnished house. The pool and the boat belonging to the house greatly enriched our everyday life. The highlight is the newly built game room/house. Here, in addition to table tennis, billiards, darts... there is also a treadmill as well as a TV with a cozy couch corner, computer... It was simply brilliant and we were never bored. The best house we have had so far - highly recommended!!!

Accommodation for 12 people

We were with 12 people in August for a week in this dreamlike house by Lake Dümmer. With great weather, we were able to fully enjoy the pool, the garden, and the covered terrace. The house is so lovingly and comfortably furnished, everything was very clean. The furniture and kitchen equipment (sufficient dishes) were like new and not put together haphazardly at all. It is located in a quiet area. The proximity to Schwerin was also a positive aspect. We felt so comfortable and would go back there immediately.

Simply great, great, great.

Beautiful house

We were very satisfied with our stay. The house was exactly as described. The pool was absolutely amazing. Access to the lake was also quickly reachable. Everything was very clean and the equipment was upscale. Nothing was missing. Overall, a successful getaway.

It was a beautiful weekend

We stayed with the whole family, 12 people, all ages for 4 nights. It was fun for everyone. The house was very well equipped. We especially liked the large living room and the large dining table, so we had comfortable space. The bedrooms were not huge, but all attractively and nicely furnished. We also enjoyed using the pool. It wasn't a cheap treat, but it was a successful family weekend. We would rent it again, but our family is growing and so the house is too small

Pool House House at Lake Dümmer

We were there for a week with the whole family. (3 families, 8 people aged 8-70)

The accommodation was great, clean and spacious. We didn't want for anything. Very quiet location, short walk to the lake. The landlord Mr Scholz was very nice and always helpful. The billing of the service charges was correct. We can recommend this holiday home without reservation.

House recommended - Landlord not

We booked the accommodation for a family birthday - all details about the house and surroundings are as shown in the pictures and description. Actually recommended. What is not acceptable is the way the Scholz family (Senior Scholz lives in the holiday home area and apparently takes every opportunity to check on things) treats the guests - we were accused of over-occupancy, blamed for causing the heat pump to fail by plugging in our hybrid car first (this was actually due to the overnight temperature and the weak motor). And that we were lying. Even a clarifying conversation with father and son has not borne fruit. Having to make this experience at all, at a time when one wants to go on vacation, is really inappropriate.

We have been renting holiday homes for years - perhaps we were just lucky with landlords who have a better knack for this business up to now.

Gerne möchten wir zu der Bewertung Stellung nehmen.
Gleich zu Beginn des Urlaubs unserer Gäste kam es erstmalig zum Ausfall der Luftwärmepumpe, die zur Beheizung des Pools installiert wurde. Am selben Vormittag erfolgte eine Überprüfung durch die zuständige Elektrofirma.
Durch den Elektriker wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass es bei gleichzeitigem Laden eines Elektroautos, dem Betreiben der Luftwärmepumpe, Sauna, des Herdes und der allgemeiner Stromquellen zu einer punktuellen Überlastung des Hausanschlusses kommen kann, was eine Störung zur Folge hätte.
Daraufhin baten wir unsere Gäste, das mitgeführte Hybrid-Auto nicht mehr über den normalen Hausstrom aufzuladen.
Zudem wurde durch ein mitreisendes Ehepaar ein Hund mitgebracht, was gemäß unseren Buchungsbedingungen nicht erlaubt ist. Hierauf weisen wir explizit in unsrem Inserat hin. Das Ferienhaus wird ausschließlich tierfrei vermietet (allergikerfreundlich).
Diesen Zustand konnten wir zum Wohle der nachfolgenden Gäste nicht tolerieren, sodass wir die Gäste aufgefordert haben, mit dem Hund abzureisen. Dies stieß leider auf wenig Verständnis.
Es liegt uns fern, unsere Gäste zu kontrollieren.
Ein technisches Problem sowie der durch reinen Zufall festgestellte Verstoß führte zum Kontakt mit den Gästen.

The vacation home was in an absolutely top condition. The kitchen equipment was very generous and the quality of the available kitchen utensils was good. Also, things that are quickly missed in other houses were available. The rooms were of a good size, but very noisy. The pool in front of the house was naturally the highlight. It should be mentioned that the pool was heated to 25 degrees. However, the heating also had the downside that the vacation was very electricity intensive. According to the billing, approximately 6 kWh were used during the first 6 hours of vacancy (landlord at 12 p.m. and us at around 6 p.m.). If the electricity consumption is extrapolated to 7 days, a total of 176 kWh were already consumed. We particularly enjoyed having a rowboat at our disposal, which was used frequently during our stay. In the house itself, it is also worth mentioning the positive aspect that the sofa landscape with the many armchairs was optimally chosen for the house, the baker within walking distance, and the easily accessible destination of Schwerin by car. One negative aspect for us was that the landlord had come by unannounced several times. Upon arrival, as we were still occupied with settling into the apartment, we were greeted with a statement that they could do without guests wanting to party like in Ballermann. It should be mentioned that we did bring beer and alcoholic drinks that could give such an impression. However, it is worth noting that we are around 30 years old and do not lead such a party lifestyle. Two days later, we were informed about the use of the new turf, and on the 5th day, the pool equipment had to be checked. All visits could have been arranged in advance via email or a call, especially since the landlord lived only ~50m away. This way, the initial impression and inconveniences could have been avoided. The pool equipment could have been checked even in our absence.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass unser neues und modernes Ferienhaus den Gästen so gut gefallen hat. Den Hinweis auf zu hohe Stromkosten können wir jedoch leider nicht teilen. Der Verbrauch der 8-köpfigen Reisegruppe lag unter Betreibung der Poolheizung sowie Nutzung von Sauna, Whirlpool und unter Berücksichtigung der allgemeinen Stromquellen bei insgesamt 76,52 € für den gesamten Aufenthalt von einer Woche. 9,57 € je Person sprechen aus unserer Sicht für die hohe Effizienz des Ferienhauses.

Highly recommended!

We spent a week with 11 people in this accommodation and are completely satisfied. From swimming in the pool, sauna and whirlpool, to renting bicycles and rowing across the lake in the house's own rowing boat and fishing, everything was included! The landlords are on site and very helpful. All the arrangements were uncomplicated. Especially the garden and the living room/kitchen area are spacious, so that we 11 adults could always get together comfortably. So everything was a TOP stay. We would definitely recommend this house!

Perfect group holiday

We were eleven people. Due to the size and great facilities, there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was clean, modern, and extensively equipped.
A big praise to the landlord, who did a great job and always supported us on-site in a friendly manner. A completely successful holiday.

It was really fun

A beautiful house to feel comfortable in a quiet, rural environment. The pool is large and practically invisible and a beautiful sight at night (underwater light). There are plenty of comfortable furniture, very good kitchen equipment, and a toilet on each floor. Although the description mentions that spices and washing utensils should be brought along, previous tenants kindly left these items behind. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, one toilet was not flushing properly, but after a call to the landlords, a plumber came the same day. We deduct one point only because the channels on the two TVs upstairs in the attic were completely misaligned and one remote control had no batteries. I didn't want to call the landlords again for this reason, but I'm sure they would have helped immediately.

If you want to swim in the lake, you have to walk to the sandy beach further into the village. The private access point about 70m behind the house is good for sliding a small boat in, but not ideal for getting out, in my opinion.

We enjoyed great trips to Schwerin and Wismar and found a folder with useful information in the house. The landlords gave us tips for restaurants and were very friendly overall.

I can really recommend this well-maintained holiday property (great pool, beautiful lawn, delicious apple tree).

Schönes großes Haus

We spent a lovely long weekend here with the whole family (7 adults and 3 small children). The house is very spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you could wish for. The garden is also very well maintained, and you can relax here very well in good weather. We will definitely come back because we felt very comfortable.

Das war Ferienhaus in einem absoluten Top-Zustand. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr üppig und auch die Qualität der verfügbaren Küchenutensilien war gut. Auch Dinge, die man schnell in anderen Häusern vermisst waren vorhanden. Die Zimmer waren von der Größe gut, allerdings sehr hellhörig. Der Pool vor dem Haus war natürlich das Highlight. Man muss dazu erwähnen, dass der Pool auf 25 Grad beheizt war. Die Beheizung hat aber gleichzeitig den Nachteil, dass der Urlaub sehr Stromintensiv war. Der Abrechnung zufolge wurden in den ersten 6 Std Leerstand ~6 kwh verbraucht (stand 12 Uhr Vermieter und wir ~18 Uhr). Rechnet man den Stromverbrauch auf 7 Tage hoch kamen bereits 176 kwh zustande. Was uns gut gefallen hatte war, dass wir ein Ruderboot frei zu Verfügung hatten, welches in unserer Zeit auch viel genutzt wurde. Im Haus selber ist auch positiv zu erwähnen, dass die Sofalandschaft mit den vielen Sesseln für das Haus optimal gewählt wurde, der fußläufig erreichbare Bäcker und das mit dem Auto gut erreichbare Ausflugsziel Schwerin. Negativ aufgefallen war uns, dass der Vermieter mehrfach unangemeldet vorbeigekommen war. Zuerst bei Anreise, wo wir noch mit dem Bezug der Wohnung beschäftigt waren und wir mit einer Aussage , dass man auf Gäste, die Party wie am Ballermann machen wollen, verzichten könnte, begrüßt wurden. Man muss dazu erwähnen, dass wir zwar Bier und alkoholische Getränke mitgebracht hatten, die einen solchen Eindruck vermitteln konnten. Dem entgegen steht allerdings, dass wir ~30 sind und kein derartiges Partyleben an den Tag legen. 2 Tage später wurden wir auf die Nutzung des neuen Rollrasens hingewiesen und am 5ten Tag musste die Pooltechnik überprüft werden. Alle Besuche hätten zuvor via E-Mail oder mit einem Anruf abgestimmt werden können zumal der Vermieter lediglich ~50m entfernt wohnte. Somit hätten der anfängliche Eindruck und Unannehmlichkeiten vermieden werden können. Die Pooltechnik hätte auch bei unserer Abwesenheit geprüft werden können.
