Description

The holiday home, renovated in 2022, is located right in the center of the medieval town of Veere, thus in a superb location. The many shops, restaurants, pastry shops, and snack bars can be reached within a minute. It is so close to the "Veerse Meer" that one can enjoy the splendid sea air. The sandy beach of Veere is easily reachable on foot. The Great Church, the world-famous town hall, and the oldest Dutch guesthouse, "De Campveersche Tooren", are all very close by. Although the very cozy holiday home is located in the city center, it still offers all the peace and privacy. Of course, you regularly hear the church bells and the carillon of the church in the center of Veere. The holiday home has its own small very sunny enclosed garden/terrace. From here, you can even see the beautiful spire of the town hall.
If necessary, there is central heating,
Bed linen, towels, etc. are available. The apartment is furnished so that it is suitable for permanent residence.
Paid parking spaces are available for your car (Kanaalweg Westzijde - Mauritsbolwerk: €13.50 day pass / per day / Info 2025), which you can easily reach on foot (300 meters). You can unload your luggage at the door of the holiday house and then park your car. Free parking is also possible, about 750 meters away.

Location and surroundings of object

Nearby are the large Zeeland North Sea sandy beaches of Walcheren and North Beveland.
The Dutch are very proud of the waterworks of "Neeltje Jans" and it is very interesting to visit them.
In many villages and towns on Walcheren there is so much to do that it is almost impossible to mention everything.
One exception: Middelburg is a large, modern, yet beautiful old town with many sights, only 5 km from Veere.
Veere is a monumental tourist town with beautiful medieval houses, mainly around the market square and the former fishing harbour.
This harbour is nowadays an accommodation for the many sailboats that sail the "Veerse Meer" most of the year.
In Veere there are many excellent restaurants, confectioneries and cosy shops.
For many people the "Veerse Meer" is a great attraction. You can go fishing, sailing, swimming, take a boat trip or just go for a nice walk. You can also rent bicycles and make beautiful trips across Walcheren.

Very nice apartment

Beautiful apartment, highly recommended, in a perfect location. The apartment is very well equipped. It only lacks a hairdryer. The bed is large and very comfortable.

Beautiful days in Veere

We really enjoyed our stay in Veere. The little house is located in the middle of the pretty town, so everything is within walking distance. Everything was very clean and the landlord's support was perfect. We will definitely come back soon!

Extended weekend in Veere

We spent an extended weekend here with our dog. The reception at the accommodation by the landlord was very warm. The accommodation is very centrally located, modern yet cozy, and equipped with everything you need. Small shops and the winding alleys invite you to stroll. We gladly recommend it!

Great break

The small well-kept house located in a quiet area with its own private terrace is situated in the beautiful historic town of Veere.
There are many options for delicious dining, but it is not necessarily required, as the kitchen in the holiday home provides everything needed for a tasty meal. The beds are very comfortable and electrically adjustable. The accommodation is very clean and equipped with enough hand and dish towels. Here you can tell that everything was considered very lovingly. The key handover with the owners was more than heartfelt and uncomplicated. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much.

Ideal for romantic days for two.

We spent the turn of the year in the small vacation cottage and felt very comfortable there! The support from the landlords was already excellent and extremely friendly throughout the booking process, and the personal contact confirmed that clearly. The apartment had everything we needed, from towels to a microwave and even baking paper, tea lights—everything was really there. The ground floor is especially nicely furnished. Upstairs, everything is functional, which was also fine. Very important: the apartment was super clean! The furnishings are truly exemplary. The apartment is not wheelchair accessible, it should be noted. The staircase going up challenged my injured knee a bit.
The place Veere is a picturesque spot with a lot of history. Everything is within walking distance, whether it's the harbor, the bastion, or the Big Church. Simply beautiful and really romantic, especially with the Christmas lights everywhere. On the 2nd. In January, the beautiful carillon lasted a whole hour. Awesome!
For us, it was a perfect stay, and we would like to repeat this!
By the way, you can park for free in public parking lots from November until the end of February.

Beautiful house for 2 people in prime location

The house is located in an absolutely central location and is still quiet and undisturbed. Everything was very clean, and the facilities are good. We missed nothing and felt comfortable. The communication was very friendly, and the booking was uncomplicated and quick. The landlord welcomed us warmly and showed us into the house. We would love to come back, thank you very much for the lovely holiday.

Rundum schön

We felt very, very comfortable in the small cottage in the back part of the garden. Beautifully furnished, everything you need is there. A real gem right in the picturesque town of Veere. The hosts are super accommodating, and it is very important to them that you feel at home right away.
