Description
The house is divided into an upper and lower floors. By located at the entrance courtyard terrace (with morning sun, a small table, 2 chairs and bench) you commit the upstairs living area with an open and a closed bedroom (here: ceiling fan). All beds have bed slats with spring mattresses and reading lamps. The spacious, white tiled bathroom has a shower, toilet, two sinks and a washing machine.
The basement comprises a living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. Facilities also include a coffee maker, toaster, hand blender, iron and ironing board, plenty of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and a highchair. From the living area you have direct access to the sea-facing panoramic terrace with pergola and the underlying garden terrace. The house was built in typical local style with original materials such as stone, clay tiles, exposed chestnut beams and terracotta floors. In the lower living area there is a music system with i-Pod docking station.
Adjacent to the living area terraces, all in southwest exposure, have adequate seating and tables and a sun lounger and a deckchair. Adequate protection from the sun offers the pergola also a high-quality, large umbrella. From the terraces you have a fantastic view of the surrounding valleys and the sea with Elba. On days with good visibility you can even see Corsica. You are nightly to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Casa Sogno is located in the sea near southern Tuscany (Maremma) in quiet location of the higher and the medieval village of Gavorrano. Neighboring towns are also the hilltop villages Caldana, Ravi and Scarlino. The stone house in local architectural style is in collaboration with three other apartments and has its slope a fantastic view in the valley to the sea (Gulf of Follonica) and the island of Elba. It has two to four people and is fully equipped. The three terraces, tasteful decor and a fireplace make for pure relaxation. Excursions into the interior of the Maremma, in the Chianti area, Siena ( hours), Florence (2 hours), Rome ( hours) or the sea (distance about 15 km, Follonica, Piombino, Gulf of Baratti, Punta Ala, Casteglione di Pescara, Monte Argentario) provide plenty of variety. For the comfort of the house provide a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine and a spacious bathroom. For the car there is a specially reserved parking space at the house. For all terraces garden furniture are available. For families with small children there is a highchair and the music lovers would be on a music system with i-pod dock-in station. Pets are not allowed out of consideration against allergic reactions of other guests.
DC in the valley you will find a very large and very well-equipped Coop supermarket and many other transactions of daily life as well as a gas station. Golf enthusiasts will find in the valley and also access to a beautifully located golf course. Another renowned golf course is 25 km away in Punta Ala. Gavorrano is a typical medieval mountain town in the sea near Southern Tuscany, Maremma. Gavorrano is located in the province of Grosseto in the vicinity of places Scarlino, Ravi and Caldana. Winding narrow streets, archways, staircases, the old defensive wall and above it all, the dominant church, make the atmosphere of the historic city Gavorranos. Lively meeting point is the location in the center of Piazza. You have shopping on the spot as well as a bank and a post office. Also close Gavorrano highly recommended restaurants and several café bars. From almost every point of the historic old town you have an incomparable panoramic views down to the level up to the nearby coast, the extensive sandy beaches and Bergpanoramo from Elba. Wundervoller Urlaub
Wir haben unseren diesjährigen Sommerurlaub im Casa Sogno verbracht und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Die Lage und vorallem die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einmalig.
Das Haus ist super gemütlich und den zwei vorangegangenen Bewertungen ist nichts hinzuzufügen.
Auch die unkomplizierte Art der Buchung hat uns sehr zugesagt.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Entspannte Ferien
Wir sind wiederholt in der Casa Sogno gewesen und haben uns jedes Mal sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtetes Haus, in dem es einem an nichts fehlt, und eine schöne Terrasse, die mit Blick auf die Macchia und in der Ferne das Meer zum Entspannen einlädt. Trotz ruhiger Lage ist alles Nötige zu Fuß erreichbar: In wenigen Minuten ist man im Dorfkern, wo es eine Bar, einen kleinen Supermarkt, einen Zeitungsladen und einen Bäcker gibt.
Für das Auto gibt es einen Parkplatz neben dem Haus, man kann aber auch mit dem Bus vom Dorfplatz an die Küste (nach Follonica) fahren. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten: verschiedene Badestrände, die sich im Grunde alle empfehlen lassen, Besuche von Grosseto, Castiglione della Pescaia, Massa Marittima, aber auch ein Tagesausflug nach Siena lohnt sich. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Toskana und Strandurlaub von seiner schönsten Seite im Ferienhaus
Als Familie haben wir nun schon 5 wunderschöne Sommer im Casa Sogno verbracht und sind immer wieder begeistert von der Vielfalt eines Urlaubs in der Maremma. Auch die Unterkunft hat alles, was man für einen Selbstversorgerurlaub braucht, ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man merkt, der Eigentümer nutzt das Haus auch selber. Die Aussicht ins Tal und bis zum Meer ist zu jeder Tageszeit fantastisch und im Gegensatz zum Landesinneren weht auch im Sommer immer eine Brise. Einkaufen kann man zu Fuß im Dorf. So kann man auch mal einen Tag am Haus verbringen ohne ins Auto steigen zu müssen. Ein empfehlenswertes Highlight ist für uns immer ein Tag auf der Insel Giglio. Unser Lieblingsstrand ist ein Abschnitt zwischen Follonica und Piombino. Die genaue Stelle heißt „Luna Beach“.

Casa Sogno is a real family home! It is used several times a year since the acquisition in the first occupation of the owner's family. Meanwhile, enjoy the subsequent generations the house in the diverse landscape of Maremma. The Southern Tuscany is especially recommended in spring and autumn. For the combination with a beach holiday, of course, the summer is very particularly suitable. Even in the late autumn and winter we have already spent a great day there. Bienvenuti!
