We spent two wonderful weeks here in May 2024. The house leaves nothing to be desired in terms of equipment. Everything, really everything, is available. We have not seen a house with this level of equipment before. We felt comfortable all around. The weather also cooperated, so it was a truly relaxing holiday for the three of us. We would come back anytime.

Everything as expected, everything as hoped.

We spent a week in the holiday home as a family of five. The house was clean and well-equipped. It met our expectations and offered more space than we had originally expected, so we could also have a nice time in the house during rainy weather.

Beautiful accommodation

Beautiful accommodation in a bungalow park not far from Paal 17 with a fantastic beach and sunset. You feel very comfortable in the accommodation, everything you need is there. Quiet environment with a direct view of the nature reserve, no traffic noise. We recommend the accommodation and would book again if we go to Texel again.
Hans as a host completes the positive impression. The best basis for a nice and relaxing holiday.

Perfect holiday on Texel

We have been to Texel many times, but have rarely felt as comfortable in a holiday home as we did in "De Duinroos". The communication with Hans was very good and cordial, both before and during our holiday. The house is in a great location and was perfectly equipped for us. The weather also cooperated and we were able to make the most of the beautiful garden. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful stay.

A lovely stay in a beautiful, quiet location. Fully equipped. We have been coming to Texel for many years, but this is our favorite place. Had a great week. We will be back in November.

Pure relaxation

We were welcomed with a bunch of peonies and immediately felt at home. Everything is very nice and newly furnished. Everything you need is there. Comfortable beds, good coffee machine, nice hammock and garden furniture. Everything is spacious. Wonderful holiday home
Completely fenced and dog proof. Contact with the owner is very friendly, pleasant and uncomplicated.
We felt very comfortable and relaxed here. We will be very happy to come back

A perfect vacation!

We were on Texel for the second time with our children. We are so happy to have found "Duinross." This beautiful house is very tastefully decorated. Everything you need is there. The location of the house is absolutely quiet, and perfect for families as the playground is right next door. We all felt immediately comfortable and welcome. For us, it was clear right away - we only want to vacation in Duinross on Texel. Mr. Hoogenbosch is a very nice and friendly landlord.
We are well-rested and had a wonderful time.

Two super beautiful summer weeks in Italy.

We spent two very diverse weeks on the island with our two older children. Sleeping, cooking, playing, chilling, Wi-Fi - everything was great. If you like to ride a bike, be outdoors, and want to bring your family together, then the house and the surroundings are perfect.

Wonderful holiday, blow away nicely!

We had a wonderful week at the Duinroos. The house is fully equipped, nicely decorated, and located in a wonderfully quiet area. The car can be parked at a short walking distance. The garden is enclosed so the dog can roam freely. The house is still new, which we found very pleasant. Definitely worth repeating.

Das perfekte Ferienhaus

We were only at De Duinroos for a long weekend, but we were able to enjoy our short break to the fullest. The house is simply perfect, offering everything you need to relax (now also with all common German TV channels) and is clean and beautifully furnished with lots of love in the details. We can only recommend De Duinroos and will be back in the summer, this time for a longer stay!

Well-maintained tasteful cottage in the nature reserve.

3 women had a wonderful stay at the House De Duinroos. We were welcomed with a fresh bouquet of flowers, a nice greeting on the welcome sign, and German music playing on the radio. The house is clean, tastefully decorated, and filled with love. Handmade artistic pottery is subtly displayed in the house and garden. The garden is fenced, so even small dogs can play freely. In the garden house, high-quality terrace furniture with cushions and a hammock are ready. A washing machine and dryer are available for the vacationers. The house is located on the edge of a quiet bungalow park, not far from the nature reserve. De Koog, Ecomare, and the beach are within walking distance. A well-designed playground is within sight for families with children. We felt very comfortable, recommend the accommodation, and would gladly return.

Very nice house at the nature reserve

and we can confirm it in full.
The German channels can be bypassed at least for the laptop (VPN!), set up at home beforehand ;-)
The garden is now escape-proof for e.g. Chihuahua.
At the car park there are trolleys for the luggage, you need a 2€ piece for the trolley.
All in all a great house for a great holiday.

Fantastic house in a good location

We spent a great week in the house De Duinroos of the Hoogenbosch family. We were welcomed with a fresh bunch of roses as well as a message on the blackboard in the kitchen - I thought that was very nice!

We have been to Texel several times, always in a holiday home with an enclosed garden (with 2 dogs), this property was the nicest house we have spent our holiday on Texel so far in terms of facilities.

Spacious with 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (shower), separate toilet, large living room with fully equipped, modern kitchen
TV in the living room as well as in the master bedroom, unfortunately only 3 German channels (ARD, ZDF, WDR). W-Lan free of charge in the whole house

The garden is completely fenced, a very small part with a picket fence with somewhat too large distances, here smaller dogs could "escape". Mr. Hoogenbosch told us during a visit that he will additionally secure this area with a small-meshed fence. The garden is gorgeous, goes around the whole house, the dogs can run and romp here. There is a super comfortable hammock (fatboy). The garden furniture is of good quality and very comfortable

You can't park directly at the house, but the car park is only about 200m from the house. At the house there is a wheelbarrow with which you can transport your luggage when arriving and departing.
There is a large playground directly in front of the house, so it is not only ideal for holidays with dogs, but also with children

The location of the house is top! Situated between Den Burg and De Koog, supermarkets and restaurants are close by (by car).
Directly behind the house you can go for a walk with the dogs, you are directly at the edge of the forest and the beach at Ecomare is within walking distance.

We spent a top holiday in a top accommodation! :)
