Beautiful days in De Haan
Very well-equipped holiday house, unfortunately located on a busy road, less noisy during the day, may disrupt the night's rest for those with sleep disorders. Huge terrace paved without greenery or plants.
Nevertheless, had a good holiday, recommendable.

Sea air and fresh milk.
We had a very nice week in this little house in De Haan. The weather was good and we made trips to the beach and to Bruges and Ostend.
We were also impressed by the Jerseyhoeve farm, where we could buy fresh milk and other dairy products 24/7. And that just a little over a kilometer from the house.
We would like to thank you again for the wonderful time you made possible for us.

Schöne Zeit verbracht
We (4 adults) felt very comfortable in the house. We had booked it for 2 weeks. There is a lot of beautiful things to see in the area, and if you use the coastal tram, you can quickly get to the other beach resorts without having to pay expensive parking fees. We can only recommend the accommodation.

Great house!
The house is very suitable as a base for trips along the Belgian coast. The coastal tram is easily accessible.

Perfect holiday in De Haan
We had a very nice stay in De Haan. The house fully met our expectations: nice, clean, well-equipped, and close to the center of De Haan. It is centrally located on the Belgian coast, close to Bruges and Ostend.

Zeer aangenaam verblijf
We had a pleasant mid-winter week in De Haan. Recommendable house. Comfortable, well-furnished, and well-maintained cottage. Friendly caretaker who provides a full explanation upon arrival. De Haan was nicely decorated with an ice rink and children's themes. Bruges with Christmas market is highly recommended.

Very odd landlords / Do not report deficiencies!
Upon arrival, there was a very brief introduction to the house and surroundings by the property manager. No map of the holiday park or the area was available.
The situation was as follows:
The dishwasher was not working - the property manager came after a call and watched me turn it on, he did not do anything himself, and the device did not work in his presence.
At his urging, I personally informed the landlady via email.
She, along with her husband (I assume) and a technician, showed up unannounced after 3 days at 8. Demanding entry at 3 p.m. in front of the door!
The landlords did not even attempt to operate the device, but immediately had the technician start working.
All three had an excellent conversation in the kitchen while checking the device.
Due to a lack of language skills, the content of the conversation remained hidden from me.
Without a goodbye and in a hurry, the house was left.
When I demanded the return of the deposit, the landlady informed me that we have to pay the technician's bill of approximately 82 euros would have had to be paid!
It would have been sufficient if she had operated the device, as she repeatedly mentioned by email that it should work.
Well, she kept the money.
Conclusion: Do not report any defects in this house.
The property manager arrived on time at the agreed departure time to take over the keys.
We were almost driven out of the house, apparently rushing through the rooms to check everything before our actual departure. We have been vacationing in holiday homes and apartments across Europe for 40 years: I have never experienced anything like this before!

Gerne möchte Ich unsere Mieter und zukünftige Interessenten darauf weisen, dass Mängel IMMER durch uns (den Vermieter) bezahlt wird.
In dem Fall von Frau Trosien aus Berlin geht es nicht um “Mängel”.
Die Frau Trosien sagte dass den Geschirrspüler defekt war (und förderte dafür Mietminderung) , aber den Geschirrspüler war nicht kaputt. Er war ganz in Ordnung, hat noch funktioniert kurz vor Ankunft der Mieterin.
Wir haben die Mieterin mehrmals informiert wie man den Geschirrspüler starten muss (ganz einfach). Die Mieterin weigerte hartnäckig unsere Anweisungen zu folgen und war überzeugt dass die Maschine kaputt war. Auf Versuch von der Mieterin haben Wir einen Monteur kontaktiert. Dieser Monteur ist dann gekommen und hat festgestellt dass die Machine normal funktionierte .
Der Monteur hat die Transportkosten in Rechnung gebracht (keine Reparaturkosten). Wenn den Geschirrspüler wirklich kaputt gewesen war, hatten Wir (die Eigentümer) selbstverständlich die Kosten ohne Problemen bezahlt, aber hier geht es um einen Mieter die die Mühe nicht machen wollte um unsere Anweisungen zur Bedienung der Maschine zu folgen.
Ich möchte darauf weisen,dass Wir schon 11 Jahre vermieten und Wir haben mehr als 300 zufriedene Deutsche Mieter gehabt wovon viele Stammgäste die jedes Jahr gerne zurückkommen.

Gute Lage, freundliche Vermieter
A holiday home that is clean and well-equipped (kitchen with oven and freezer, German TV, free WIFI) in a pleasant quiet location and at a moderate distance from the center of De Haan. The handover modalities were flexible and could be arranged (very pleasant), the landlords were friendly and well organized. Would love to come back.

Restful days in De Haan
Very nice contact with the landlady, very friendly and helpful housekeepers. Everything clean, tidy, and cozy, we will definitely come back and have also recommended the house to friends. The city, beach, and surroundings could be easily reached on foot.

Sehr schön
We spent a family week in De Haan. We were greeted very kindly, everything was very clean and tidy. With the help of the buggy, we could walk to De Haan and the beach with our two-year-old. We would love to stay there again anytime.
