Description
The Cindy fisherman's house offers you everything you need for a relaxing holiday: A large sun terrace and a large garden for playing and relaxing, a well-equipped spacious kitchen, a cosy living room with a Swedish stove and beds with good mattresses for a pleasant night.
The living room is very cosy and stylishly furnished. The Swedish stove creates a very special homely atmosphere. For entertainment, there is satellite TV, a stereo system and various games and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and oven. Crockery is readily available. You will not miss anything.
To the beach:
From the house you cross a beautiful pine forest and reach the wide sandy beach, which invites you to swim, build castles and fly kites! Another forest path leads you to De Haan. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to the centre of De Haan.

Location and surroundings of object
De Haan is located directly on the North Sea between Oostende and Wenduine. It is a small, very well-kept town with inviting cafés, a few ice cream parlours, good restaurants and good bicycle rental facilities. Strolling through its main street, you come right to the sea.
Only 15 km inland is Brugge, a former harbour town and today called "the little Venice of the North". You visit the historic town on foot or let a guide take you on his boat through the many canals.
Oostende attracts with its large harbour and the magnificent fish market, where every fish eater is tempted to taste. Wenduine is a small, cosy nest, Blankenberge is the big shopping town and Knokke is very chic and elegant.

Vacation...in De Haan!
Beautiful fisherman's house in De Haan.. perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, and warmly cared for. Our children and we felt at home from the very first moment.

Beautiful house
We spent our two-week summer vacation in the holiday home Cindy and felt very comfortable here. The house has everything needed for a relaxing vacation, a well-equipped kitchen, a nice dining area, a cozy living area, and a beautiful fenced garden with a large terrace.
The landlady is very nice and friendly and had useful tips for our vacation.
The surrounding towns are easily reachable by tram or on foot and are definitely worth a visit. For our dog, the nearby forest was a hit, and we also really enjoyed the walks there.
We were at the North Sea coast in Belgium for the first time, and it will definitely not be the last time. Thank you for the lovely vacation!

A very relaxed feel-good vacation
We were in Cindy's Fisher House with two dogs in the summer of 2025. We felt at home there from the very first moment. The house is very nicely furnished, and everything you need is available. We particularly liked the terrace, and the large, fenced garden was great for the dogs. The landlady is very nice, and the booking and the entire organization were completely hassle-free.
The beach and - which was also very nice for the dogs - the dog park in the forest are very easily reachable on foot. It is not far to the town of De Haan, also reachable on foot. Aside from the nearby road, which had some activity on the weekend, it was very quiet. I think it was not our last vacation there.

Cozy vacation home, very good location
We were in the holiday home for a week with the family (children aged 14 and 16) over Easter 2025. Contact and coordination with the landlord was great. She gave us very good tips for shopping and activities in the area in advance. The house is cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There was a new sofa and new armchairs in the living room. The beds were comfortable. The parking space in front of the house is ideal. De Haan itself is a nice place that is easily accessible on foot. We were at the Belgian coast for the first time and were surprised that there is a tram along the entire coast. The next stop was not far, so we took the tram to Oostende or Knokke-Heist. By car, we went sightseeing in Bruges and Ghent. Both have a great historical old town. The beach near the holiday home is very beautiful. Ideal for walks or jogging. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Great holiday home near the beach with a large fenced garden in a quiet location
We spent a week in the holiday house Cindy with our adult children and the family dog. The house is cozy and fully equipped. The kitchen (we have booked many holiday houses) was in excellent condition, where you enjoy cooking and using the facilities! Likewise, the house in general was very clean and well maintained. The contact with the landlords was super friendly and helpful - you even got tips for events and attractions. The proximity to the beach, which you reached after a short beautiful walk through a nature reserve forest, was great.
Only - but these are the rules in Belgium - it would be nice if there were more areas on the beach where dogs are allowed to stay during the day.
A truly beautiful destination in an area with many family-friendly destinations and places!
