House layout:
Ground floor: Spacious open plan living/dining area with flat screen TV (48 inch/122cm - 3D, football mode, quad processor, game consoles suitable), sound bar and subwoofer with 300watt Dolby surround, DVD player and wood burning stove. The dining room table is extendable and has 4 chairs. In the living room area there is a cosy leather seating area with additional footstool
The kitchen is separated from the living-dining area and can be closed by a door. It contains a modern, well-equipped fitted kitchen with ceramic hob incl. oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, waffle iron, toaster, blender, egg boiler, coffee machine, complete knife block as well as a fully automatic coffee machine (prepares espresso, espresso macchiato, coffee cream, coffee, cappuccino, latte coffee, latte macchiato at the touch of a button). Sufficient crockery and cutlery are of course available
On the ground floor is the bathroom with a 90 x 90 cm corner shower with large corner entry and WC. The shower tray was removed in November 2015, the shower was laid out at ground level and fitted with non-slip tiles. Hairdryer, radio and washing machine are available (the washing machine is operated by a coin-operated machine)
The hallway area is equipped with a shoe cupboard, 2 mirrors (1 mirror body-size), wall panel and a wardrobe
One bedroom is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with a bed measuring 1.40 metres by 2 metres , sliding door wardrobe, 2 bedside tables with corresponding touch bedside lamps. The bed, like all the other beds in the house, is equipped with indirect lighting and remote control. As in the other bedrooms, there is also a flat screen TV (24 inch/60 cm) with integrated DVD player and satellite reception in this room.
In the storage room there is a hoover, safe (30 x 20 x 20 cm) with combination, children's high chair, spare coffee machine, spare kettle, broom, dustpan, cleaning bucket, mop, footstool, sewing box, first aid kit, shoe shine box, hot water bottle, lint brush, laundry corner and an iron and ironing board
Upstairs:
1 bedroom with large 2 by 2 metre double bed (mattresses H4 new at the end of 2019) and flat screen TV (32 inch/81 cm) incl. DVD player with satellite reception
1 bedroom with 2 single beds each 1 by 2 metres. A children's travel bed and high chair are of course available. A flat screen TV (32 inch/81 cm) with DVD player and satellite reception is also available here. As additional equipment, a sound chair for children is available in this room. In addition to a subwoofer, this has interfaces for connecting an aux cable for connecting mobile phones and ipods, a headphone cable and an interface for a USB stick. Please bring your own cables and devices with you on arrival.
All bedrooms are equipped with clock radios. The clock radios have a USB interface.
The upper floor has a guest toilet with a small washbasin
All windows of the house are equipped with roller shutters. Indirect lighting with remote control has been installed under all beds, so that guests large and small can fall asleep peacefully in the evening with pleasant dimmable lighting. The windows in the bedrooms on the upper floor also have fly screens.
On the bedside cabinets of the bedrooms there are touch night lights with several levels of adjustment. All mattresses as well as slipcovers have been newly purchased at the end of 2019.
For our 4-legged guests, we provide an XL couch cushion as well as sufficient dog blankets, so that they also find their cosy place for the time of their stay. It therefore goes without saying that beds and sofas are taboo for our 4-legged guests!
We kindly ask you to consider our advice also with regard to guests who do not bring dogs with them! Furthermore, we would like to point out that we do not accept bookings with more than one (1) dog!
The house has an outdoor terrace of 24 square metres which is not visible from the street and faces south. The gables as well as the sides of the house are equipped with LED lights and provide a cosy atmosphere as well as safe walking in the outdoor area.

Location and surroundings of object
The plot of approx. 300 sqm is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac on a corner plot in a very advantageous location and orientation. The local supermarket is in the immediate vicinity (approx. 100 metres) of the house and is visible from the house. Halfway there is the children's playground with climbing facility. In the winter season (when the supermarket is closed), there is a vending cart with bread rolls, cakes, daily newspapers and other small daily necessities about 50 metres away from the house from about to o'clock
The garden with its terrace is completely south-facing and cannot be seen from the street. The property is fenced with a garden fence of 1.25 metres height, so that children and if necessary 1 dog can romp through the garden without any worries, while the rest of the family can relax without any worries. The fence has 2 lockable garden gates so that the property can be entered and left from both sides. The house was lavishly renovated to a high standard by the end of 2014.
All rooms of the house are tiled. The sanitary facilities were replaced and the living/dining rooms and bedrooms were carefully furnished with new furniture
There is sufficient seating available for the garden area. There are 6 high-back folding chairs and 2 reclining chairs, each adjustable to 5 positions, with corresponding upholstery. For the sunny hours, there are 2 sunbeds with upholstered cushions, as well as a large parasol
A barbecue is of course part of the basic equipment in the outdoor area. There is a tool shed at the house, in which bicycles and roof racks etc. that you have brought with you can also be stored and locked during your stay. The garden house has electricity/lighting inside and a socket for charging e-bikes.

Neßmersiel is a small, dog-friendly coastal bathing resort with its own beach where dogs are also welcome.
There are 2 bicycle rentals and a boat rental in the village. There are playgrounds for children and a football pitch
In Neßmersiel there is an indoor playground for the little holiday guests, which also has a sauna.
In the summer season, there is a supermarket and bakery in the centre of the village. In the off-season, holidaymakers are catered for by a mobile bakery, which offers bread rolls and cakes as well as small daily necessities and daily newspapers
Various restaurants spoil the holidaymakers with culinary delicacies. The local associations organise various festive events, especially in the high season. These include barbecue evenings with upbeat music.
From Neßmersiel there are a variety of interesting ways to spend the day. Last but not least, there are mudflat walks to Baltrum and Norderney.
The harbour is also located on the beach of Neßmersiel, from where the daily ferry service to the island of Baltrum takes place.

Holiday house of the highest class
Holiday home exceptionally well equipped. Spacious with many extras and attention to detail. Well-kept garden, completely fenced. Communication with the landlord was very good. We felt comfortable and will be happy to come back.

We have rented the house for the second time. High-quality and very tasteful furnishings. Very clean, good and firm mattresses... important! Great location; large terrace and beautifully designed garden. Nice landlords and communication with the manager, Mrs. Klaassen, works great. We will definitely come back.

Left nothing to be desired.
A holiday home as you wish. The owners have thought of every detail - a very nice, modern, and cozy furnished holiday home with plenty of space and many amenities. These include, among others, entertainment equipment, fireplace, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, just to name a few things that are probably not expected as standard. With three separate bedrooms, everyone can find their peace zone.
The outdoor facilities are also very well maintained. We spent a very relaxed week in the beach oasis and look forward to our already booked repeat vacation in the warmer season and hope to be able to use the terrace and grill then.

simply brilliant :)
The perfect house to spend a carefree and relaxing holiday. Everything was just right here. The landlords were very nice and friendly, booking was no problem. The house is located in a cul-de-sac, in a quiet yet central location. In the morning, less than 100m away, there were fresh bread rolls and a grocery store. The house was very clean, fully and tastefully furnished, the garden was very well-kept and fenced in. It would have been ideal for our dog as well. In the living area, a wood-burning stove and a TV in each bedroom.
We lacked nothing during our vacation week.
We will gladly come back and can only recommend this house.

Tailor-made holiday
The Strandoase house in Neßmersiel is the best example of how a vacation home should be! The house and the outdoor area are impeccably maintained. The owners have made great efforts to make the house modern and at the same time very cozy. This will not be our last stay in the Strandoase, location, facilities, everything is top-notch! Relaxing days!
I have recovered very well, not least thanks to the beautifully furnished house and the small garden where my dog was allowed to run freely. The house leaves nothing to be desired and is so nicely furnished that you immediately feel very comfortable. The location of this accommodation is good because you have the small park right outside the door and a grocery store is only a few meters away.

Great vacation despite the stiff breeze :)
We really enjoyed our stay at the beach oasis. The house is very tastefully decorated, and everything was to our complete satisfaction. The Nespresso machine was top-notch, and the fireplace burned every evening. The fact that the garden was completely fenced allowed our dog to move freely outside. There was a large dog bed and several dog blankets, absolutely perfect.

A paradise for humans and dogs!
We enjoyed our week off very much. An accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired, a cozy little cottage where you feel at home. In the fenced garden, the dog can run around while the human enjoys an espresso on the terrace. A praise to the Filzen family for the tasteful furnishings and the nice contact, we would love to come back.
