Hygge in North Holland

Lovely and very well-equipped holiday home, arrive and feel good. We liked it so much that we extended our stay immediately. Very nice and uncomplicated contact with the landlord, the house is very clean and well maintained, there was also space in the shed for the bicycles we brought. The location of the holiday park is a dream: close to the beach, cycling paths, excursion destinations, shopping opportunities, dining options...

We had another very nice vacation in J'dorp.
The Seestern Heimathafen 162 is a very beautiful, well-maintained house and well-located, where, as described, nothing is missing.
Quietly situated but everything, including the playground, easily accessible for kids.
Sufficient dishes, cutlery, and everything that belongs in a kitchen. Children's toys, books, wagons, and bicycles available (bicycles are older but well-maintained) needed a bit of air pumped in, but otherwise, they are good for shopping in J'dorp (shopping center), for going to the beach, and also suitable for smaller bike tours (provided that each tenant treats the bicycles as their own).
Garden and terrace furniture are also very well cared for, and a grill was also available. The service is great, we had a problem right at the beginning that the sun umbrella was broken. Sent a message with a picture to the landlord and the next day when we returned from the beach, there was already a new sun umbrella in the stand. Simply fantastic, thank you. The weather also cooperated very well, allowing us to enjoy our meals outside. Restaurants nearby are also recommended. We will come back next year.

Schöner Seestern

As a family with 3 children, we spent our vacation in the "Seestern" holiday home.
We lacked nothing.

Clear recommendation

Very well-equipped, bright holiday home where you feel comfortable from the first minute. The accommodation offers everything that is important for a relaxing holiday. Kitchen equipment, garden furniture etc. all very good. The house is beautifully quiet in the back of the park. Protected by the hedge, you can also enjoy privacy on the terrace, eat and relax in peace. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. I particularly enjoyed the morning walk with the dogs around the beautiful, small lake in the middle of the park, the walks in the dunes, and the evening atmosphere by the sea.

Recommendable!

We had a great time in Julianadorp. The location of the cottage, 400 meters from the beach, is excellent. There is also plenty of entertainment in the area. There is enough to do and see.
The house itself is spacious enough, it's nice that there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom plus an extra toilet. Furthermore, the cottage is equipped with all comforts and amenities. All in all, we had a great holiday and would recommend it. The service is also good, and the contact with the landlords is very pleasant.

Relaxing vacation at the "Heimathafen"

A super-equipped, friendly and bright holiday home, nothing is missing. The "Seestern" is very well-maintained and clean, both indoors and outdoors. You feel comfortable immediately upon arrival. The location in the beautiful holiday park is optimal, on the terrace you can enjoy the sun almost until sunset. The proximity to the beach and the two shopping centers is great. Our contact with the landlords was very pleasant. Our many questions before traveling, including the situation with the coronavirus, were patiently, openly, and honestly answered.
We can recommend the vacation home with a clear conscience and will gladly book again.

Great house and very nice landlords

The house is top equipped with everything that is needed. Starting from the kitchen equipment, toys for children, bicycles, grill, beach wagon, beach accessories, etc. The beautiful wide sandy beach can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. In the park itself, there is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Very child and dog-friendly. The contact with the landlords was very nice and uncomplicated. All in all, we spent a beautiful and relaxing week in the holiday home and will definitely come back.

Upon arrival and unpacking, one already felt comfortable, everything was clean and well-maintained as it should be when arriving at a vacation destination. After unpacking, one realizes that they have taken too much as many things are already available in the house such as games or kitchen equipment, there was nothing missing, everything was there. The surroundings are also quiet, so one could enjoy their peace on the terrace, the weather was also great. We have enjoyed the 14 days very much and are already considering when we will come back here next year.

Great holiday home with everything you need.

Communication with the landlords before and after the trip went smoothly. Shortly before our vacation, we received the key. The holiday park is very clean and well-maintained, dog waste is properly disposed of by owners. We arrived with a child and a dog. The holiday home is very beautiful and also clean and well-maintained. Everything was thought of :) the kitchen has everything you need. In addition, there is a barbecue and even bicycles, both of which we enjoyed using. You can quickly reach the great beach through the holiday park via a footpath through the dunes. Everything is well maintained here as well. In the park, there is a nice playground for children, as well as a mini-golf course. In short, it was successful holiday. We will definitely come back!

Completely satisfied and totally relaxed :)

5 days at Strandslag 162 brought me to complete relaxation. The days and the tranquility in connection with the sea are simply a dream.
The house is a dream... The equipment was above average, I had already brought many things myself to find out that everything was there. ;) Comfort was also not lacking. Ending the day by the fireplace with a glass of wine, what more do you need?! My dog settled in and relaxed from the first minute, he always sat in front of the window or in the garden and loved it - a small fence would have been nice, as I always checked if he stayed there - but a leash also works.

We drove home happy and more than relaxed... we will definitely choose Strandslag 162 again for a lovely time in the Netherlands by the sea.

It is a clean, fully equipped holiday home. The windows have fly screens. Each room is manageable. Well-functioning bicycles, wagons, etc. You feel at home instantly. The light-filled rooms look particularly beautiful due to the glass dome in the roof. In the evening, you can see the stars through the roof while having dinner and the sky during the day. Beautiful, we will gladly come back.

We were in North Holland for the first time and we were very enthusiastic. The holiday home was just great. Very comfortably furnished. Whatever one was looking for, one found everything. The settlement is very beautiful and you can ride to the beach by bike. Wi-Fi is available, which we found very nice. All in all, a great holiday. We would love to go back there.

This holiday home makes a great beach vacation without any limitations possible. The proximity to the sandy beach is simply fantastic! Other excursions are easy and quick to reach.

One can feel comfortable here!

In the holiday home, you will find everything you need. The house and garden, along with the outbuildings, are very well-maintained. There is nothing to criticize.
One small thing perhaps: the hedge should be allowed to grow a bit higher, then the view is a bit more protected from curious people passing by on the street.

Restful days by the sea

We had a very nice and above all relaxing week in the holiday home for two. Equipment and location are great. And even though the weather was a bit stormy, we had a great holiday. We especially recommend a meal at the local "Pancake House", and the nearby Alkmaar is also worth a visit. We would love to come back :)

Relaxing days right by the sea

We spent wonderful days in Julianadorp. The weather was quite changeable, but even in the rain, we felt very comfortable in the holiday home. The built-in skylight generates so much light even in bad weather that there were no wishes left. The equipment is very good, you can find everything you need, from a hairdryer, internet to a peeler. Everything is there. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. Please do not order bread rolls in the holiday village, they are expensive and bad. Everything is great!

We (2 adults + 1 child (7)) were very surprised by the house, felt very comfortable. Everything we needed for a self-catering holiday was there. The use of the bicycles was very convenient for us, we used them almost every day. We also had great weather, so we could make extensive use of the terrace!

Sehr schönes Haus mit Atmosphäre

We used the holiday home as a couple and were enthusiastic about the loving decor. Everything was really there: from the toothbrush cup to the corkscrew for an evening wine. The equipment left nothing to be desired and otherwise we found everything we needed here: quiet location away from stress and hustle, cozy and bright rooms, great facilities, nice decoration throughout the house; it is really cozy and one feels immediately at home when entering. And the cleanliness in the house has positively surprised us from the very first moment. There are many little things that we liked and rounded off the holiday, such as matching dishes and good cutlery in large quantities, a large mirror in the bathroom, temperature control in the living room, but also fly screens on all windows (- the alarm system is really not to be underestimated, we forgot to turn it off once when opening and didn't forget again :-) ). We hardly used the garden and the terrace as the beach is nearby. However, everything for a cozy garden day is available on site, such as garden chairs with a table and a large parasol.
The location of the house is not only close to the beach but also good for excursions. With the available bicycles and the good cycling paths in Holland, beautiful bike tours can be taken to explore the holiday destination and the surroundings. In the house, there are also a lot of useful information available, whether it's tips on the small and large sights in the area or delicious restaurant recommendations. We can really only recommend the house and look forward to our next stay. A tip for newcomers: Before starting the journey, it's advisable to take a look at the location of the holiday home from an aerial perspective and update the navigation system to a more current version, as it may happen that you get "stuck" at the street corner of Cakkantsogervaart and Zanddijk just before Julianadorp aan Zee :-).
