The luxury apartment is fully equipped, has a tastefully furnished living room with dining area and integrated kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom (together 53 sqm). The apartment features also a separate breakfast terrace.
Our heated salt-water pool, the sun loungers with comfortable pads as well as our parasols are also available to you. The same applies to the lovingly landscaped, natural garden with various peaceful areas that invites you to linger and relax.
From the apartment’s terrace you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and the mountains of the Hottentots-Holland mountain range.
The apartment can be booked including breakfast (like a double room) or as self-catering apartment.

Benefit from the central location of our house. From here it is only a few minutes to the center and to the shopping mall of Somerset West with excellent infrastructure and easy access to local attractions around Cape Town and the wine growing areas.
From here you can be in the centre of Cape Town in 30 minutes, at the International Airport in 20 minutes and in the idyllic town of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, in 15 minutes. From this wine-growing area you can reach other wine-growing areas such as Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek in 20-50 minutes. Our luxury B&B Somerset Sights is located in Somerset West on the hills of the Helderberg Mountains, home of the nearby Helderberg Nature Reserve, with beautiful hiking trails through fascinating Fynbos vegetation. From the B&B you have a breath-taking view of the ocean and the Hottentots Holland mountain range. The view encompasses the whole of False Bay. Bounded on the east by the mountains, the view continues along the coast up to Table Mountain, above Muizenberg and Simons Town to the Cape of Good Hope.
Somerset West is rightly regarded as one of the nicest suburbs of Cape Town. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of Cape Town and yet you’re only a \"stone’s throw\" away from it. Somerset West is beautifully situated between mountains and the ocean and through its central location offers the ideal starting point for your activities.

| Important note on availability: For our regular guests (long-term bookers), we block certain room allotments provisionally in advance during the high season. If your desired period is not available, please contact us by email. We would then clarify with our regular guests at short notice whether the blocked period can be released. In this case we could make you an offer. Booking conditions: A deposit of 50% of the accommodation cost is required to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid in Euros to our German bank account or in ZAR to our South African bank account. In the case of online bookings via our website, the deposit is paid by credit card (MasterCard, Visa). For long-term bookings (3 weeks or more) made 3 months or earlier before arrival, different deadlines for the deposit may be agreed. The final confirmation of the booking will be made after receipt of the deposit of 50% of the accommodation costs. Please note that your booking only becomes valid upon our written confirmation. Should the deposit not be paid in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Children are welcome from the age of 12 years. Please contact us if you wish to book for children under the age of 12. For insurance reasons, we can only accept younger children in exceptional cases. |
Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

The living room of the apartment is furnished with quality solid wood furniture, a nice dining area as well as a kitchenette and a comfortable lounge area with attractive leather sofas.
One of the leather sofas can be converted into a comfortable double bed (king size length). Thus, the apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
The kitchenette is fully equipped. In addition to the basic set of cutlery, crockery, cookware, etc. for 4 people, the kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine as well as coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
The bedroom with air-condition has a king-size double bed with separate mattresses and duvets, as well as a sideboard and a dressing table. The adjacent bathroom includes exclusive shower, toilet, washbasin and bathroom furniture.
