Holiday home "Jonas" has approx. 200m² living space and 2 terraces with garden for your holiday at the with plenty of space - 7 bedrooms, 18 beds plus cots

Location and surroundings of object
With only 900 inhabitants, the former fishing village of Hohwacht is a beautiful oasis of tranquillity. As a Baltic Sea spa, the village offers a successful balance of active holidays and relaxation. The lakeside climate, a bright, beautiful sandy beach and natural forests, three nature reserves around the Großer and Kleiner Binnensee lakes and the unique, forested cliffs are the hallmarks of the village. In short, anyone looking for relaxation will find it here. The proximity to the picturesque Holstein Switzerland with its many lakes and hiking trails is another plus for this unspoilt region. The well-known Golf & Country Club Hohwachter Bucht also offers ambitious golfers everything their hearts desire. The nearby surroundings with their old manor houses and estates invite you to go on discovery tours and excursions. Culinary delights are on offer here, for example at Gut Panker or the nearby Hessenstein.
The holiday home is ideal for 2-4 families with children. Fine sandy Hohwachter Strand and Sehlendorfer Strand within 5 / 6km - shallow slope and ideal for children to swim - also easily accessible via cycle path
A holiday is also worthwhile out of season: the Baltic Sea is attractive not only in summer but also in the cold season. Relax and let the wonderful wind blow around your ears during a beach hike or a walk on the Baltic Sea dike.

Great house for families and groups.
We spent a few very nice days at Haus Jonas. The house is large, well equipped, and modern and tastefully furnished. The landlords are always available and very helpful. The beach is not within walking distance, but you can get there quickly, and the proximity to the village (Schmiedendorf) with many shopping possibilities is very convenient.
