Romantic loft for an individual vacation on the Baltic Sea. In the heart of Lütjenburg, not far from Hohwachter Bay, various beaches (5-7 km) invite you to swim. Old beams, half-timbering, raw plaster. Original masonry & old floorboards. The house is raw and original, not over-renovated. Sometimes crumbs fall from the ceiling and the cracks provide fresh air. The loft is anything but uncomfortable. It has style. You can expect 29 m² of living space in the 100-year-old half-timbered house. Renovated with only minimal modern amenities, the accommodation has retained its characteristic charm and promises you a break from everyday life and stress. The half-timbered loft is suitable for lovers of authentic, historic buildings. If you are looking for modern comfort, this is not the right place for you. However, anyone who wants to experience a slower pace of life is warmly invited. The stairs leading up are narrow and steep, but easy to climb. The accommodation is furnished for two people. A sofa, bed (1.40x2.00 m) with bedside table and lamps, electric fireplace, Bluetooth/DAB radio, wardrobe, and two chairs invite you to relax. The LED/SAT TV receives the usual channels. Wi-Fi is also available, so despite all the originality, you can make the leap into the 21st century if you wish.
Nice and warm in summer (there is a fan), nice and cold in winter and is not rented out then. Exposed to the whims of the weather. If you are looking for accommodation off the beaten path, then you are exactly right here and we would be very happy to welcome you to this special accommodation. Next to the entrance, there is a garden bench, chairs, table, and stove available for you. A grill is located in the shed. When the sun is shining, it is truly a great place in the evening to sit outside, eat, drink, or grill.

The climatic health resort Lütjenburg (800 years old), with its roughly 5,000 inhabitants, is located in the middle of the Hohwachter Bay, only 6 km from the Baltic Sea!
The historic marketplace, the baroque town hall, St. Michaelis Church, and the richly decorated former dyer's house, now the registry office, are always worth a visit and form the center of the small town.
Around the marketplace, small shops invite you to stroll, but all major supermarkets such as Famila, Penny, Rewe, Lidl, and Aldi are also available locally. There are several doctors, dentists, pharmacies as well as an ambulance station, a fire department, banks, gas stations, workshops and other commercial enterprises.
Locally, there are kindergartens, a primary school, a special needs school, a comprehensive school and a grammar school.
There are several churches, 2 sports clubs, a tennis hall, a dance sport club, a guild, the Hohwachter Golf Club and several other clubs from all areas. Numerous restaurants (including 1 & 2 star) also make a lunch or dinner shaped by regional specialties, whether in a small or large group, unforgettable.

Only 3 km away is "Gut Panker", owned by the Princes of Hesse, with a castle, chapel, cosy shops and the 1-star restaurant "Ole Liese". From Gut Panker it is not far to the Hessenstein lookout tower, which stands on the 128 m high Pilsberg. From up there you have a fantastic view over 1/4 of Schleswig-Holstein, and the legendary "Forsthaus Hessenstein" with its top cuisine is also located at the foot of the tower.
The nearest beach, Behrensdorf, is approx. 2.5 km away and is free of tourist tax. The entire Hohwachter Bucht also has a wide variety of beaches, which are no more than approx. 2.5 - 12 km away. From Kembs you can cycle along the Baltic Sea to Kiel. A fantastic bicycle tour! Because of its wonderful geographical location, the holiday home is fantastically suited for excursions by bike or car in all directions.

Very beautiful, large house with a big, beautiful garden in a very quiet location.
The title says it all, I think. The house and garden are well maintained. Very good facilities. The house is very quiet, never experienced such quiet nights! The children loved the small stream flowing in the garden. Distance to the beach and shops as stated. Everything is easily reachable by bike. We can recommend it.
