The holiday flat is located in a cultural monument and can be entered from the back. The public and free car park is about 50m away and you can store your bicycles free of charge in the bicycle shed. The house is very quiet and friendly! The climatic health resort Lütjenburg in the middle of the Hohwachter Bucht near the Baltic Sea shows all the advantages of an 800 year old small town. The historic market square, the baroque town hall, the St. Michaelis church and the richly decorated former dyer's house and today's registry office are always worth a visit.
Around the market square, small shops invite you to take a stroll, and street cafés are a great place to linger.
Numerous restaurants offer an unforgettable lunch or dinner with regional specialities in small or large groups.

The Bismarck Tower on the Vogelberg, the highest point of Lütjenburg, is also a landmark of the town and invites visitors all year round. Built in 1898, the tower guarantees fantastic landscape impressions of the surrounding area. From here you can overlook the entire Hohwachter Bucht and Holstein Switzerland. The view extends across the Baltic Sea even to the Danish islands.
Another Lütjenburg attraction is the reconstruction of a wooden medieval tower hill castle in Nienthal, surrounded by a likewise medieval village, unique in all of northern Germany. Here you can experience history up close and personal, and during the Viking Days you can actively take part in knight fights or even the simple life of yesteryear, for example. The small but lovely village is a real experience for young and old.
The Ice Age Museum in Nienthal also lets you experience history. The formation of today's hilly northern Germany through the ice ages and the skeletons, fossils, rocks and minerals on display are impressive.

Nice vacation
We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Everything is furnished with love. There are a few suggestions for improvement: the drain smells a bit and cannot be covered up with air freshener, and it would be nice if microwave-safe dishes and a measuring cup were available. The terrace is still under construction, so it can be looking forward to.
