Location and surroundings of object
You will spend your holiday in the centre of the village. The beach and the harbour are about 1500 m away.
By car: Either via the A31 to Emden and then via Norden (the town) to Nessmersiel, or via the A1 and then the A28 to Leer and then via Aurich to Nessmersiel.
For exact route planning, please use Map24. Nessmersiel is a small, tranquil coastal resort on the North Sea. It belongs to the municipality of Dornum in East Frisia.
From the harbour you can take the ferry to the island of Baltrum.
There is also a sandy beach with beach chairs.
If you want to go mudflat walking, this is the place to go. There are many guided tours of the mudflats to Baltrum and Norderney.
A family leisure centre (Sturmfrei) with an indoor play area is available for its guests in the village.

Cancellation terms:
**Translation to English:** **Cancellation by the Tenant** The tenant may withdraw from the rental agreement before the start of the rental period by submitting a written declaration to the landlord. The decisive factor is the time at which the notice of withdrawal is received by the landlord. If the tenant withdraws from the rental agreement, he/she must pay a lump-sum compensation for the expenses already incurred by the landlord and the lost profit in the following amounts: - Withdrawal up to the 45th day before the start of the rental period: 20% (but at least €25) - Withdrawal up to the 35th day before the start of the rental period: 50% - Thereafter and in case of no-show: 80% The tenant retains the right to prove that the landlord has suffered no loss or a significantly lower loss. In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the tenant may nominate a substitute tenant who is willing to enter into the existing contractual relationship in his/her place. The landlord may object to the entry of the third party if this person appears to be economically or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the rental agreement, both the third party and the previous tenant are jointly and severally liable to the landlord for the rental price and any additional costs arising from the entry of the third party. The landlord is obliged, in good faith, to re-rent any accommodation not taken up and must offset any savings thereby made against the cancellation fees claimed. It is recommended that the tenant takes out travel cancellation insurance.
