Beautiful and quiet!

We felt comfortable! Quiet and beautifully located! It was ideal for our dog, only 10 meters through the garden and we were at the canal! It took about 10 minutes to get to the beach, where there was food and drinks! The landlady and the son were very nice! Thank you very much!

Kalla Anka - Callantsoog

We stayed for a week in this small but nice holiday home. It is located at the end of a street and therefore very quiet. There is a large children's playground nearby and the beach can be reached on foot in about 8 minutes. The "market place", the centre of Callantsoog, can be reached just as quickly

The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for daily cooking. There is also a small freezer in the fridge. The bathroom is very nicely renovated, but also relatively small. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. One with a larger double bed and one room with two single beds. These rooms can be reached via a steep staircase. There are a few German TV channels

The contact to the landlord's mother was very nice, the landlord himself answered messages quickly. All in all, very uncomplicated

Perhaps good to know for people with dogs: dogs are generally allowed, but not welcome on the first floor. Since the steep stairs, as usual in the Netherlands, can be very dangerous anyway, maybe it's better that way. However, dog owners should perhaps be aware of this if their dog does not like to sleep "alone"

In need of improvement

A cozy holiday home within walking distance of the town center and the sea. However, the maintenance needs improvement. The floor and skirting boards look old and worn. Bar stools are wobbly. TV is very old and has poor image quality. Shower door is too small, causing the shower to fill up with water. The stair gate is really old! The beds were good, which is very important. Everything else is present. Friendly people. Cute garden. Overall, a cozy stay, but in need of maintenance!

Kalla Anka

For 2 people, this is an ideal holiday home, we had our dog with us, and that was also easy to combine. The cleaning could have been better, under the sofa, there was one sock from previous renters, and under the bed, there was a fairly large hair clip that would have been easily found during vacuuming. The bathroom is extremely small, and it was difficult to shower. But all in all, I would still like to rate this holiday address with a solid 8, and we would gladly come back here.

Relaxing vacation in a cozy house

The house is quietly located and in a very well-maintained condition! Upon my arrival, I found it absolutely clean. For me as a single person (or for 2 people) with dogs, it is just right. I personally wouldn't want to vacation there with 4 people... it would be too tight for me! There is a seating area in the garden for guests that can be used in nice weather. The beach and town are easily accessible on foot! The landlords are very friendly! Everything perfect!

The holiday apartment Calla Anka is quietly located, but the center and the beach can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Top location. The holiday apartment was very clean and tidy. The terrace and the garden with chickens were great for our daughter. The landlords are very warm and friendly. The only thing we have to complain about is the very small bathroom with a shower. Unfortunately, the water accumulates in the entire bathroom. The staircase leading to the bedrooms is steep and without a railing. Had concerns at first about our little daughter. But everything worked out well. We would visit the Calla Anka vacation apartment again at any time. Felt very comfortable.

A very nice stay in Callantsoog

The vacation apartment is well-equipped and very lovingly furnished. You feel very comfortable. It was a great short break from the very beginning! The apartment was clean and well-maintained, there was a super nice contact person right at the house. The house itself was very quietly located. The beach and the supermarket were very easy to reach. The accommodation was very nice. We found everything we needed. Beautiful holiday in Callantsoog

We felt very comfortable in the cosily furnished flat. We enjoyed the beautiful weather on the terrace. We liked the town of Callantsoog and the beautiful long beach with the dunes and the beach pavilions. Our dog could dig in the sand and romp around the sea until he dropped
The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is the leaky shower door. But the small flood in the bathroom can be quickly removed with the rubber spatula.
The contact with the landlord was good and friendly. Everything worked out wonderfully. We can only recommend this flat and will definitely come back again.

Beautiful small flat in a quiet location

Nice little flat on two levels (2 bedrooms upstairs, living-dining room kitchen area downstairs.) Sitting area in the garden directly on the canal. The flat is partitioned off from a detached house and is nicely situated. It is a few minutes walk to the centre of the village (all shops, restaurants, etc.) and the beach. It was nice that the flat is not in a holiday settlement but in a normal residential area. Everything was very clean and there was enough equipment (dishes, etc.). No oven, but that didn't bother us. Very nice contact with the landlord.

The apartment is as described and, from our perspective, ideal for a family with 2 children. The beds and furniture are especially good, we slept like at home. The town of Callantsoog is really nice, a small town with shops and restaurants. To the anglers: bring a fishing rod and buy the Vispas for 40 euros, then you can catch pikes from the terrace.

We had a very nice short holiday in this holiday home despite the bad weather. Everything was quickly accessible, the beach, the village square, and shopping opportunities. The house was very clean, cozy, and lacked nothing. Beds great, bathroom very nice, as well as the kitchen and living room. The only thing we found quite steep was the staircase leading upstairs. Very bad for older people or those with back or knee problems! Especially since the bathroom is downstairs!

The cozy and clean house is perfectly situated and perfect! You can easily reach everything in about 5 minutes (village center, supermarket, bakery, and of course the North Sea)! Kalla Anka (the house) is very well equipped and located on the outskirts of the village. You can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet there! Pure relaxation! We spent 2 weeks in the holiday home. It is located close to the village square, yet very quiet in a cul-de-sac. Upon our arrival, we found a very clean, well-maintained apartment and a tray with fresh flowers, coffee, cocoa, and cookies as a welcome gift. The bathroom is a bit small but sufficient. All rooms have central heating, and the living room is additionally equipped with electric heating plates, so it is cozy and warm even on cool autumn days. We liked it, we will gladly come back.

The Kalla Anka is a small but lovingly furnished holiday home and super clean! The contact with the landlord was very prompt and reliable. Very nice people. The location of the holiday home is perfect - completely quiet (we were there with our three-year-old daughter) located by the canal - there is also a boat that you can use and a small chicken coop in the garden. And yet you can walk to the village or beach in five minutes. Great value for money. We will come back.

Gemütliche FeWo auch mit Hund

We arrived with a slightly larger dog and were pleased to find that the holiday apartment was well suited for that as well. There was enough cleaning supplies available to clean the floor (dog unfortunately constantly sheds hair, etc.). The floor was also suitable for this purpose. It was also practical for us that we could always clean our four-legged friend in the garage. Otherwise, as already described in previous reviews, the apartment is well equipped and cozy. The landlord's mother also kindly provided us with sufficient information in response to our questions, and the surroundings are very beautiful. Even in winter!!! We will definitely come back again.

Near the beach!

This cozy and clean holiday apartment is perfectly located. By foot, you can reach the North Sea or the village center in 5 minutes (if you take it easy), where you can find everything you need for your vacation: supermarket (open on Sundays as well), bakery, butcher, french fries and ice cream stand, restaurants, etc. The holiday home is well-equipped and located at the outskirts of the village, so you can have your peace and quiet! We will gladly come back!

Beautiful and relaxing vacation.

Very nice little house, located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The furnishings were very nice and clean. The landlords were very nice and friendly. Only the mattresses were a bit too soft. Otherwise, a very nice holiday. We would love to come back.

Super nice holiday!

It was a lovely vacation again. The new kitchen turned out very nice. This is already our 3rd year coming here, and we feel very comfortable, including our dogs. We are looking forward to next year already and will gladly come back.
