Even outside the bathing season, the house is a wonderful choice: long walks by the water, fresh air, wide views, and cozy hours in the snug living area make the stay special at any time of year. Your dream house:
In 2000, it was converted from a former barn into a building complex with three independent sections, similar to a row house, only much more beautiful! Each section has its own entrance and its own terrace. So you have neighbors, but no one to disturb you.
Upon entering, you arrive in a spacious hallway. From here you have access to the perfectly equipped kitchen and the bathroom. The ground floor consists of two open levels, connected by a few steps. The living area adjoins the hallway in an open design and impresses with a proud height of 4 meters. Here you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa and look directly out onto the lake. Satellite TV is available to you. From the living area you can access the covered terrace, which is equipped with garden furniture. The staircase leads you to the upper floor. Due to the height of the room, it has 4 more steps than conventional stairs.
Upstairs there are two cozy bedrooms. The first room has a double bed and an additional bed (sofa bed). Here you will also find a television. The second room is also equipped with a double bed and, if needed, a travel cot for children.

Your dog is very welcome during the travel period from November to the end of March. Just write to us if you plan to come with a dog during this period. In three of our other houses, your dogs are welcome all year round. Take a look at our website!
Arrival day is Saturday, but in winter other days can be chosen individually. Notice for our winter holiday guests: Please note that in case of snow and icy conditions, no winter service is available.
Last but not least: Due to bathers and playing children, it can occasionally get a bit louder at the adjacent bathing beach, despite the otherwise quiet and beautiful location! We ask for your understanding!

Wonderful holidays by the lake
We were here during Pentecost week and had incredible luck with the weather. This allowed us to fully take advantage of the location of the house right by the lake with paddling (we brought our own boat) and swimming. Otherwise, one could have also made great trips to Schwerin, Wismar, or Lübeck.
The house is really very nice, very spacious, and extremely well-equipped. And the contact with the landlord was uncomplicated and very friendly. Overall highly recommended - also suitable for children due to the small beach area in front of the house.

Wonderful house in the best location
The house is simply a dream. It has been furnished with a lot of love, so that you feel comfortable right away, everything you need is available. The contact with the landlord was great.
We had good weather during our week, so we could also use the associated canoe. The area is also great for cycling, excellent bike paths, you could discover so much. We were able to relax well, the week unfortunately passed too quickly, but we will think back to this vacation for a long time.
Many thanks again to the nice landlord, who created a peaceful retreat with the house in a top location, everything for the benefit of us vacationers.

Beautiful house by the lake
We visited this beautiful vacation home with our 3 children for 3 nights and felt immediately at home! It is well equipped – we lacked for nothing.
The area is also very nice. You have a direct view of the lake and also direct access.
A completely perfect place to relax and unwind.
Great hosts on top of that :)
We would love to come back.

The situation makes it!
The location of the house is great, right by the water and with immediate access to the public, very well-maintained bathing beach of Hohen Viecheln. Since we had two weeks of swimming weather out of the three weeks of vacation there, we were able to spend a lot of time in and on the water. However, we used our inflatable kayak that we brought along for that. The rowboat at the house is actually a bit too small for two people, and the Canadian canoe that is also there was too heavy for both of us. WLAN and TV worked without any issues. There was a parking space for the car almost directly in front of the front door. The steep and quite high staircase to the two bedrooms bothered us in the house. The latter were described as cozy in the property description. We did not find it that way, as we mainly moved in a bent position due to the sloping roof there. But this was probably unavoidable during the renovation of the building due to its previous use. The bathroom and kitchen were almost fully equipped; however, we missed a microwave. The insect screens attached to almost all the windows were nice. The strong production of condensation in the refrigerator was unpleasant. Unfortunately, we could not determine the cause. The communication with the landlord went well, a defective pad machine was quickly replaced. Overall, it was a very nice vacation, with the location of the house being decisive.

Lieber Herr J., es freut mich sehr, dass es Ihnen bei uns gefallen hat und Sie einen schönen Urlaub hatten. Vielen Dank für Ihre ausführliche und freundliche Bewertung. Zwei Dinge möchte ich etwas "gerade rücken": Die Treppe! Sie ist nicht steiler als andere herkömmliche Treppen. Sie hat durch die Raumhöhe bedingt lediglich 3 Stufen mehr als andere Treppen. Vielleicht erschien sie Ihnen dadurch steiler. Und dass die Schlafzimmer hauptsächlich eine gebückte Haltung erfordern, das stimmt einfach nicht. Natürlich haben die Räume oben Schrägen, aber dennoch möchte ich die Aussage so nicht stehen lassen. Ich denke auch nicht, dass andere Gäste dieses so empfanden. Dann wäre sicher bereits ein Hinweis in den 42 Gästebewertungen vor Ihnen zu finden.
Um das Kondenswasser im Kühlschrank werden wir uns umgehend kümmern. Danke für Ihren Hinweis.

We bought this holiday home in late summer 2013. Of course, we were particularly impressed by the super location of the house with the beautiful lake view. We are a family with three children. Unfortunately, we don't live on site, but we have a perfect 'team' that takes care of everything. As we have been holiday home owners for more than 35 years, we were able to draw from a wealth of experience when it came to the furnishings.
