Dream vacation ☺️

We were allowed to be guests in this sweet and special little house with our dog Milou☺️ nothing was missing, everything was great, and above all, the neighbors were wonderful and even enjoyed our dog. All in all, a beautiful little house to relax and vacation. Thank you very much☺️

So beautiful, great landlord, tasteful

We were delighted with the thatched cottage. The contact with the landlord was very nice and friendly from the beginning, which made us even more excited for our vacation. The holiday apartment is really very beautiful. We brought too much with us; there is truly EVERYTHING in the apartment? From spices, aluminum foil, shower gel... to candle supplies... We have never had such a wonderful, tasteful, and clean holiday apartment. Our two dogs also felt very comfortable. We were there off-season, so it was very, very, very quiet. But you can quickly get to Burg by car, where there are various shopping options. You can also quickly reach beautiful beaches if you can decide. Cozy, relaxed days in Reetchen

We lived in a beautiful apartment in a thatched house over 2 levels. And the lovely enclosed garden with a small pond. Perfectly equipped with everything one could wish for and many thoughtful extras like toiletries, spices, ice cubes, and many loving little things like a dog bowl or toys for the pet. This really brought a smile to our faces and made us feel very comfortable right away. The communication with the landlords and also with the neighbors was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
We are happy to recommend this gem further!

Great vacation with dogs

It was a beautiful vacation in Fehmarn. Thanks to the good facilities of the house, one could also pleasantly bridge bad weather periods. It was great that the house also has a wall box. Parking can be a small challenge for one or another SUV. Would love to come back.

Beautiful vacation with a dog, everything within walking distance, bakery, butcher, restaurants, all nearby.
The holiday home is very cozy and equipped with everything you need.

A dream vacation

We are very happy that we found the "Reetchen" for our vacation on Fehmarn. It has everything you need for daily life, is super cozy, has a beautiful garden, and there is also a bakery with really delicious pastries nearby. Next door, there was also a butcher, which we did not use as we do not eat meat. In walking distance, there were also several snack bars and restaurants.

The "Reetchen" is the perfect starting point for beautiful bicycle tours. The beaches are quickly accessible by car.

Mrs. Schröder-Matthies was easily reachable and immediately helped with any questions that arose. We would definitely recommend the "Reetchen" and would love to come back.

For us, it was a perfect time out. Thank you :-).

The holiday home has a central location, you can walk to the bakery, bike rental, restaurants and other places. The house is very well equipped and everything is very lovingly decorated. Everything was clean and in order. Highly recommended!

Great vacation for humans and dogs

The vacation begins already with the arrival! The great view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge of the water, the kite surfers and sailors on both sides - incredibly beautiful!
The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need. We felt comfortable right away. Even our dog found his place under the stairs right away! In the fenced garden, he could run and enjoy the sun on his fur!
The contact with the landlady is very good. Always friendly and immediately accessible. Any problems that arise are solved immediately!
The house is very centrally located in Landkirchen. Snack bar, steakhouse, fish restaurant, two bakeries, a very good butcher and a bike rental (very nice and accommodating team) within walking distance. Burg (the largest town on the island) is easily accessible by bike, there are several supermarkets (EDEKA, ALDI, LIDL, NETTO, etc.) and Wednesdays are market days. There are also many restaurants and the best soft ice cream!
We didn't use the car at all during our vacation and did everything on foot or with the e-bike (with a dog trailer). The bicycle paths are well signposted and you can buy a bicycle map at the tourist office, which already suggests some tours.
For us, it was a relaxing vacation with the best weather.
We would love to come to Reetchen again.

Great holiday home

The location was ideal for our activities. We were there with our 2 children and 2 dogs. A "welcome treat" had also been prepared for the four-legged friends. The greeting was made by our hostess via email, with the note that she would be available for further information and recommendations by phone. Everything for daily use was available in the holiday home. The kitchen was very well equipped. We will gladly come again and can only recommend the holiday home.

Beautiful oasis in an ideal location

We were able to enjoy a relaxing week in this very tastefully and absolutely fully equipped accommodation. The garden was perfect for our dog, as it was completely escape-proof. The location is perfect, very quiet and every point on Fehmarn can be reached in a maximum of 20 minutes. We also liked the possibility to park our car safely on the property. The landlady is very helpful, attentive and friendly. We will gladly come back :-) PS: the best (only) butcher on the island and a good bakery are just a few minutes' walk away...

wonderful feel-good house

We 2 adults, our 13 year old daughter and our Goldie dog were allowed to spend a week's holiday in this thatched cottage in August. We had great weather and were able to go on very nice tours by bike. The holiday home is quite centrally located near Burg from where you can explore all directions.Only with a dog it is quite long to drive from there - we drove with the car / bikes loaded to a place and then started the bike tours (dog trailer so advantageous). We especially enjoyed the late afternoon trips to Strukkamphuk campsite .there is a nice beach bar ( delicious coktails ) and a free stunning sunset to enjoy.

Now to the cottage : the holiday started for us as soon as we entered the cottage. Very lovingly furnished (cosy but not too cluttered) ...with a nice welcome gift and equipped with EVERYTHING you need....even spices, filter bags, dishwasher detergent etc. all the things you forget at home and often have to buy ;o)) was available. It was clean and we could sleep well on the mattresses. There are enough cupboards and chests of drawers and even for the dog a bowl was provided. There was enough crockery and cutlery, and even that was not a collection of individual items, but specially purchased (at least that's how it looked).
For us the fenced garden was a small shady paradise- especially the dog had his own "cinema" at the pond ( 2 frogs ;o) and he was hardly to get away from there.in the evenings a hedgehog always visited us.so it is not an ornamental garden with gravel and ornamental lawn - was who likes something like that even nowadays ?! Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky because the church (in the immediate vicinity) was being renovated and the builders started work shortly after 7 a.m., but that will be completed in the foreseeable future.

House to feel good away from the big hustle and bustle

Nice quiet location in the old centre of the village
We stayed there for a fortnight with our dog and felt very comfortable. The house is tasteful, well maintained and very well equipped. The location is great for cycling trips all over the island

The equipment is great and very child-friendly (travel cot, high chair, plastic dishes available). We came with 2 children and a dog, so the small garden in front of the house was perfect

Very nice and helpful landlord and a sweet little part of the beautiful old pastor's house. Baker and butcher as well as various restaurants within walking distance.
A car is necessary to go shopping or to the beaches.
The equipment is good and well thought out.
