Look forward to a relaxing break in your cozy thatched cottage. The pretty house is all yours and welcomes you with tasteful, comfortable furnishings – perfect for couples or families with a dog. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome and can move freely on the fenced property while you enjoy the peace on the terrace. We know a holiday is only perfect when the four-legged family member is happy too.
The thatched house is part of a building complex, the former parsonage, with three completely independent parts, similar to a row house, only much nicer! This house is solidly built and not noisy. It has its own entrance and its own barely visible property with covered terrace. So you have nice neighbors, but no one to disturb you.
Here you spend time with your loved ones: swimming, cycling, walking or doing sports. Or you just let your soul unwind and experience the diversity of the sunny island of Fehmarn.

You feel the cozy atmosphere as soon as you enter the house. Through the hallway you go directly to the open kitchen, the bathroom and the bright living area – the perfect place to come together. Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms with double beds await you, ideal for restful nights after a day full of island adventures.
Outside, a lovingly landscaped garden with a small pond welcomes you. In the heart of Landkirchen, in a quiet side street, lies the wonderful old parsonage, just under 3 km from the charming island capital Burg.
Here you have an ideal starting point for excursions – also by bike – all over the island or to the mainland.
By bike or car, you can reach the most beautiful beaches of Fehmarn in just a few minutes. The island offers nearly 80 km of coastline and about 20 beaches. There is the right beach for everyone, whether you are seeking peace and quiet, traveling with your dog, expecting fun and action with your family, want to be active in water sports, prefer a natural beach, the dunes, or the fine white sand... You will always find the right spot, and all of it is close by!
Excellent restaurants can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. There is something for every taste. Two bakeries, a butcher, the post office, and a bike rental are also just around the corner.
The island offers numerous local sights, such as the Maritime Museum, the Submarine Museum, the Galileo Knowledge Worlds with three museums, the many lighthouses, the mills, the nature reserves, the bird sanctuary, the charming island capital Burg, and much MORE! The range of activities and entertainment on Fehmarn is huge – also for the little ones. Dogs are warmly welcome almost everywhere on the island.
The Baltic Sea resorts Heiligenhafen, Großenbrode, and Dahme are a short drive away. Beautiful and worth seeing cities are Eutin and Lübeck. Hamburg and Kiel also invite you for a day trip.

Our tip: Winter vacation on Fehmarn! When the island quiets down, the beaches are almost entirely yours – ideal for taking a deep breath and enjoying the fresh, clear sea air. Cozy little house in a perfect location
We were allowed to spend our Easter vacation in the great little houses. We lacked nothing. The central location allowed us to quickly reach all the kite spots. We will definitely come back.

Vacation under the thatched roof
A wonderful holiday home with a charming thatched roof and a loving, stylish decor. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, so you could feel comfortable from the very first moment. Ferienhaus Reetkate
A house with a lot of attention to detail. The landlord has not hesitated to provide decoration for a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen offers everything you need, and the dishes are enough for 2 people to fill the dishwasher. In the bathroom, there is more than you need, but if something was forgotten at home, there is a bit of everything here. The bedrooms are large and spacious, and even for a longer stay, the wardrobes offer plenty of space. The garden is small, but it was enough for our four-legged friend. Since the house is located in the village, unfortunately, you have to walk a little to provide the dog with a green area, but that did not harm our vacation. All in all, a successful stay.

Here everything is right.
Mega, everything is just perfect here!
The little reed cottage is beautiful and still practically furnished.
Everything is definitely available: from coffee pads, spices to dishwasher tabs, cleaning agents, and much more.
The small garden is also great - my dog found the large water bowl (small pond) with frog flavor very tasty and interesting - a bit of dog TV.
The neighbors and also the gardeners are all nice, friendly, cheerful, and helpful without being unpleasant or intrusive. The location is also unbeatable.
World's best (island) baker 2 minutes away and for anyone still writing postcards - mailbox across the street.
Fish snack bar (also for takeout) 5 minutes. From there, one can (woman) wonderfully take large, small, and medium dog walks, and those who need a bit of provisions can pick mirabelles and blackberries along the way (depending on the season). If you need a cooking break, there is not only the fish snack bar (hot food and fish sandwiches) but also two fish restaurants and a steakhouse about 3 minutes away, and a classic "fries stand" 5 minutes away.
The hosts at Reetchen are very warm-hearted and friendly. Simply great! So, it was a wonderful vacation and anyone looking for something to complain about would definitely need endless time to find something, but I preferred to enjoy my vacation with great thanks to my hosts - especially to Mrs. Silke Schröder-Matthies.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Die Schlafzimmer sind groß und geräumig und auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt bieten die Schränke viel Platz.
Der Garten ist zwar klein aber unserem Vierbeiner hat es gereicht. Da das Haus im Ort liegt geht man leider ein kleines Stück um dem Hund eine Grünfläche zu bieten, aber das hat unserem Urlaub nicht geschadet.
Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt.
Das Reetchen ist wunderschön und trotzdem zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
Es ist definitiv alles vorhanden: von Kaffeepads, Gewürzen über Spülmaschinenen Tabs, Reinigungsmittel uvm.
Der kleine Garten ebenfalls grossartig- mein Hund fand den großen Wassernapf (kleiner Teich) mit Froschgeschmack sehr lecker und interessant - ein bisschen Hunde TV.
Die Nachbarn und auch deg Gärzner alle nett, freundlich, fröhlich und hilfsbereit ohne unangenehm oder aufdringlich zu sein.
Die Lage ist ebenfalls nicht zu toppen.
Weltbester (Insel) bäcker 2 Minuten entfernt und für alle die noch Postkarten schreiben - Briefkasten gegenüber.
Fischimbiss (auch zum mitnehmen) 5 Minuten. Von dort aus kann man (Frau) wunderbar große, kleine und mittlere Hunderunden laufen und wer ein bisschen Proviant benötigt kann nebenbei (je nach Jahreszeit) Mirabellen und Brombeeren ernten.
Sollte man eine Kochpsuse benötigen gibt es nicht nur den Fischimbiss (warmes Essen und Fischbrötchen) sondern auch in ca 3 Minuten Entfernung 2 Fischlokale und ein Steakhaus und 5 Minuten entfernt eine klassische "Pommesbude".
Die Gastgeber vom Reetchen sehr warmherzig und freundlich. Einfach grossartig!
So, es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wer etwas zum meckern suchen möchte, der braucht bestimmt endlos Zeit um irgendwas zu finden aber ich habe lieber meinen Urlaub genossen mit grossem Dank an meine Gastgeber- ganz besondersn an Frau Silke Schröder- Matthies.
Unser besonderer Dank gilt der überaus netten, zuvorkommenden und umsichtigen Vermieterin. Die unserseits aufgetretenen Probleme hat sie mit enormem Einsatz bei Seite geräumt.
Fazit: Perfekt und uneingeschränkt absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich sehr schön. Wir hatten viel zu viel dorthin mitgenommen, es gibt in der Wohnung wirklich ALLES ? Von Gewürzen, Alu Folie, Duschgel...... bis Kerzennachschub..... Wir hatten noch nie so eine tolle, geschmackvolle und saubere Ferienwohnung. Unsere zwei Hunde haben sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wir waren außerhalb der Saison dort, daher war es sehr, sehr, sehr ruhig. Aber man ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell in Burg und hat dort diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man ist auch schnell an wunderschönen Stränden, wenn man sich denn
entscheiden kann.
Wir hatten einen schönen ruhigen Urlaub, konnten Kraft tanken und sind mit schönen Erlebnissen und noch mehr Hühnergöttern wieder nach Hause gefahren.

Das hat uns wirklich ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert und wir fühlten uns gleich sehr wohl.
Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und auch mit den Nachbarn war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Das „Reetchen“ ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für wunderschöne Fahrradtouren. Die Strände sind mit dem Auto sehr schnell zu erreichen .
Frau Schröder-Matthies war super erreichbar und hat bei aufkommenden Fragen sofort geholfen. Wir würden das „Reetchen“ auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen auch sehr gerne wieder.
Für uns war es eine perfekte Auszeit. Vielen Dank dafür :-).
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Sogar unser Hund hat unter der Treppe auf Anhieb seinen Platz gefunden! Im eingezäunten Garten konnte er laufen und sich die Sonne auf den Pelz scheinen lassen!
Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist sehr gut. Immer freundlich und sofort erreichbar. Auftretende Probleme werden direkt gelöst!
Das Haus liegt sehr zentral in Landkirchen. Imbiss, Steakhaus, Fischrestaurant, zwei Bäcker, ein sehr guter Metzger und ein Fahrradverleih (sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Team) in fußläufiger Umgebung. Burg (der größte Ort der Insel) ist sehr gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, es gibt mehrere Supermärkte (EDEKA, ALDI, LIDL, NETTO usw.) und mittwochs ist Markttag. Auch hier gibt es sehr viele Restaurants und das beste Softeis!
Wir haben den ganzen Urlaub über das Auto nicht genutzt und haben alles zu Fuß oder mit dem E-Bike (mit Hundeanhänger) erledigt. Die Fahrradwege sind gut ausgeschildert und im Tourismusbüro kann man eine Fahrradkarte erwerben, auf der bereits einige Touren vorgeschlagen werden.
Für uns war es ein erholsamer Urlaub bei bestem Wetter.
Gerne kommen wir noch einmal ins Reetchen!
Der Garten war perfekt für unseren Hund, da komplett ausbruchssicher.
Die Lage ist perfekt, sehr ruhig und jeder Punkt auf Fehmarn ist in max 20 Minuten erreichbar. Uns gefiel auch die Möglichkeit unser Auto sicher in dem Grundstück zu parken. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-) PS: die beste (einzige) Fleischerei auf der Insel und eine gute Bäckerei sind nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt...
Ein paar Ausstattungsgegenstände fehlen noch.
Bäcker und super Metzger 5 min. entfernt.
Im Kühlschrank ist leider kein Gefrierfach.
Ansonsten rundum zufrieden.

Das Haus ist sauber und gut ausgestattet.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war freundlich und tadellos.
Jederzeit gerne wieder.
Jetzt zum Häuschen : der Urlaub hat für uns schon beim betreten des Häuschen begonnen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet( gemütlich- aber nicht zu überladen) ...mit einem netten Willkommensgeschenk und mit ALLEM ausgestattet was man so braucht....selbst Gewürze ,Filtertüten,Geschirrspülmittel etc. all das was man Zuhause vergisst und oft nachkaufen muss ;o)) war vorhanden. Es war sauber und wir haben auf den Matratzen gut schlafen können .Es sind genug Schränke und Kommoden vorhanden und selbst für den Hund war ein Napf bereit gestellt. Geschirr / Besteck war genug vorhanden und selbst das war kein zusammengesuchtes Sammelsorium von Einzelstücken-sondern extra dafür angeschafft ( so wirkte es jedenfalls ).
Für uns war der eingezäunte Garten ein kleines schattiges Paradies- besonders der Hund hatte an dem Teich sein eigenes "Kino" ( 2 Frösche ;o) und er war von da kaum weg zu bekommen.Abends hat uns immer ein Igel besucht.Es ist also kein Ziergarten mit Kies und Zierrasen - war wer mag so etwas auch heutzutage noch ?! Wir hatten leider etwas Pech ,weil die Kirche ( direkte Nachbarschaft) renoviert wurde und die Bauarbeiter kurz nach 7 Uhr anfingen zu arbeiten, aber das wird ja in absehbarer Zeit fertig gestellt werden.
Wir waren zwei Wochen zu viert mit Hund dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll, gepflegt und toll ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge mit dem Rad auf der ganzen Insel.
Wir empfehlen das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter und kommen wieder...!
Die Ausstattung ist super und sehr kinderfreundlich (Reisebett, Hochstuhl, Plastikgeschirr vorhanden). Wir sind mit 2 Kindern und einem Hund angereist, von daher war der kleine Garten vor dem Haus perfekt.
Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt ?
Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.
Das kleine süße Häuschen liegt in einer ruhigen Lage mit tollen Nachbarn und einem schönen Flair.
Wir waren absolut begeistert.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super freundlich, herzlich und sie ist sehr hilfsbereit.
Fehmarn ist eine tolle Insel und wir kommen gerne bald wieder!
Auto aber erforderlich um zum Einkaufen oder zu den Stränden zu kommen.
Ausstattung ist gut und durchdacht.
