Welcoming and cozy

We had a great holiday with 3 generations. A hospitable hostess, a charming house and plenty to do in the area. Enough space for everyone indoors, and a cozy sitting area outside on a busy intersection. But well, that didn't bother us. We are very satisfied.

Beautiful, sociable holiday flat, personally furnished

Beautiful and sociable holiday flat with a lot of personal style in an old half-timbered house in the centre of Bruchhausen. Large enough for three families or groups of regulars. Great value for money!
Modern bathrooms with lots of wood and attention to detail. The kitchen had everything you could imagine. Despite the unexpected onset of winter, it was cosy and warm thanks to the fireplace in the dining room. Very friendly and warm hosts!
Absolutely recommend, also thanks to the great location!

Super house, super host

Mr. and Mrs. Rüschenschmidt are super friendly and warm hosts, the house is very clean and has great amenities: games, DVDs, firewood, and a well-equipped kitchen - you can relax here super! We were there with 5 friends and will come back!

For the second time and again top.

We stayed for the second time with eight people in the House Wieneken. And it was good again. The 300-year-old house is lovingly furnished and has everything that is needed. A large number of dishes and glasses are evidence of the care of the friendly landlord, as are sufficient hooks in the two great bathrooms. Last autumn we also had one of the two wood-burning stoves in operation. A great atmosphere. It is a historic half-timbered house. It creaks every now and then because it is a living house for living people. We can recommend the House Wieneken 100%.

Gezelligheid

A nice time in a lovely house where we stayed comfortably. A very suitable place for hikers. If true peace is sought, we have some doubt; the traffic, especially motorcyclists, passes right next to the garden...But for us, that was not a problem at all, a nice house, with all kitchen utensils, a great BBQ, and very friendly people! Top!

Too good to advertise for it.

We spent a great week in a great house. 300 years old, which you can fortunately feel. A house with character. Cozy and lovingly furnished. Modern technology with all functioning appliances. Good kitchen equipment. Very sympathetic and uncomplicated landlords. The workshop (better "the studio") of the landlady is more than worth a visit, not only because of the homemade liqueurs.
We would love to come back.

Family reunion / birthday celebration

This holiday accommodation fully met our expectations and more. A historical half-timbered house lovingly restored. Spacious kitchen area (dishes, cutlery, and everything one needs, was abundantly available) Huge dining table, perfect for a family celebration. Not to forget the cool clay oven. It quickly became cozy warm. We were totally impressed by the shower area. Modern yet somehow adapted to the timber framing. Very creative and tasteful. Living room very cozy, endless games available. For our adults, the foosball table was a hit, of course. Sleeping arrangements were also good. We felt very comfortable all around. We got to know very personable and humorous landlords who were always approachable. We also want to emphasize the adjoining creative workshop of the Rüschenschmitt family. Overall, we can absolutely recommend this accommodation. Best regards, Schmeller family.

Each time with 3 families with children. The house is perfect for this.
Size, facilities, value for money, leisure opportunities - all top-notch.

Spacious and stylish holiday apartment, uncomplicated landlords, unbeatable value for money.

The Wieneken house is a stylish and well-equipped holiday apartment that also offers plenty of space. In addition to the numerous beds, the large open-plan kitchen, and the beautiful bathrooms, the highlight was particularly the living room with the foosball table. The landlords were extremely communicative and very uncomplicated. We celebrated a milestone birthday here with the family over a long weekend and can highly recommend the apartment. The price-performance ratio at Haus Wieneken is unbeatable.

A very special holiday apartment with flair

Dear Rüschenschmidt Family!
We stayed in the holiday apartment with eight people. It offered plenty of space and had great amenities. The old timber-framed house has a wonderful charm and has been lovingly renovated. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed sitting together around the long kitchen table. The fireplace/stove added to the atmosphere. The children played a lot at the foosball table in the living room.
The location is suitable for hikers and skiers. The distances to Winterberg and Willingen are not great.
Although the weather was not perfect, we had a great ski vacation with friends.
The friendly and uncomplicated landlords rounded off a great time.
We will be happy to come back.

Super great vacation home for groups!

We had a great weekend in this house. The facilities are superb! Games, tea lights, spices, and trash bags, etc. are not usually a given. Really great! Modernized bathrooms and beautiful soft beds. However, the house is very cold, so it's quite good that there's a heater. The location is really good for hiking. Right outside the door is a signpost that points in the directions of various circular paths. Overall, everything is great and the landlords are super nice!

Always happy to do it again :-)

Have stayed in the house 8 times now in different configurations. It has always been nice and fitting! The street can be quite loud at times...(Motorcyclists know where to ride well....) Slowly but surely, the furniture is being replaced and rooms renovated. That makes me very happy!! (By the way, the new bathroom turned out great!) The hiking opportunities are fantastic, and the landlords are a really likable family!

Large apartment with lots of coziness

Big house. The foosball table is great for the kids. The warmth from the Bullerjan wood stove is very cozy. The family is very friendly and the workshop is great. Skiing is nearby in Willingen. Thank you very much!

Very beautiful spacious holiday apartment in the Sauerland.

The accommodation is not located in Willingen or Winterberg, but all places are easily accessible. We quickly reached Olsberg, the Niedersfelder Hochheidehütte, and Willingen.
Bruchhausen is great for skiing as there are no long waiting times or traffic jams.
The location is also ideal for hiking (Rothaarsteig, Bruchhauser Steine).

Tolles Haus

Haus Wieneken is a completely beautiful old half-timbered house, we 6 adults and 5 children had a great time. The house offers plenty of space and the dining area with an adjoining open kitchen is totally cozy with the Bullerjan stove. I can highly recommend it because the price is unbeatable. A look into Mrs. Wieneken's wonderful workshop is very worthwhile!

We used the apartment as a weekend accommodation for 10 people for hiking in the beautiful Sauerland. The apartment is fully equipped. Couldn't be better. Always happy to come back.

Great House

We used the house as a base for skiing in Bruchhausen and Willingen and really enjoyed the stay. The owners were helpful and accommodating. The price was very reasonable. The location was very good - pub 30m, bakery 100m! To the ski run in Sternrodt it was just 5 mins drive and to Willingen it was about 10 mins drive. We loved the wood burning stove in the dining room. The beds were comfortable and we felt we had loads of room for 8 people. We'll definitely come back.

Excellent family/group spot

We have been staying in this great spacy house for 4 times now together with 2 other families and love the space, the Bullerjan woodstove and proximity to several friendly ski-areas.
Great kitchen, great livingroom, very friendly owners.
The Sternroth ski area has never been open when we were there, that is a pity, perhaps only in holidays?
The house and its pricing are excellent value for money.
