Description
The flat house Glowe was built in 1995/96 and is located on the edge of a woodland rich in species in a quiet residential area in Glowe, not in a holiday home settlement. The Baltic Sea beach is approx. 300 m away, the Bodden is 700 m away. The village centre and supermarket are about 800 m away, the bus stop is about 300 m away. In the house you will find coin-operated washing machines and dryers. There is a private parking space in front of the house.
The 2-room flat is on the ground floor and offers 68 sqm of living space for four people. It is located to the back of the house in a very quiet forest location and is tastefully and functionally furnished. The living room was completely renovated at the end of 2017. The kitchenette is fully equipped and therefore also suitable for a longer stay. It is a non-smoking flat. Pets are not allowed
The flat consists of a hallway, a large living room, a large bedroom, a bathroom and a terrace (see floor plan).
The living room has a wall unit with LCD TV and DVD player as well as a spacious seating area. Two (more) persons can sleep on the double sofa bed integrated in it. The living room also has a well-equipped kitchenette (3 m wide) and the dining area. In case of bad weather, you can use the book collection (approx. 140 titles) as well as the game collection.
In the bedroom you will find a double bed (1.80 m wide) with new mattresses and a three-piece bedroom wardrobe with plenty of storage space, as well as a small seating area with an overhead floodlight and reading lamp.
A cot, a high chair and children's cutlery are available.
The flat has a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, which was modernised and made barrier-free in 2020. You will find sufficient hanging possibilities for your towels and bathroom textiles.
The large terrace (approx. 20 sqm) with a view of the forest has furniture and invites you to relax outdoors. It is partly covered and can therefore also be used when it rains.

Coin-operated washing machines and coin-operated dryers on the upper floor are convenient for a longer stay.

Location and surroundings of object
Through a small forest path, you can reach the Baltic Sea beach at the Schaabe in a few minutes after approx. 300 m. It is a walk of approx. 700 m to the Great Jasmund Bodden.
The neighbouring hotels 'Meeresblick' and 'Ostseeperle' (approx. 300 m) offer a breakfast buffet. You can take a short walk to the nearest bakery in the morning (approx. 500 m). On the way there, you will also pass a large children's playground.
The large spa square is located directly on the beach. Local specialities as well as travel souvenirs are offered here. The state-recognised resort of Glowe is picturesquely situated in the north of the Jasmund peninsula between the Bodden and the Baltic Sea and has approx. 1100 inhabitants.
Glowe is the starting point of the longest sandy beach in Rügen (approx. 10 km), which is also known for the 'longest sand castle in the world' and offers excellent bathing opportunities (including naturist bathing) and a fantastic view of the steep coast of Cape Arkona (approx. 20 km away).
In terms of area, Glowe is the largest seaside resort in the north of the island of Rügen. Nature lovers appreciate the great variety of flora and fauna.
In the village there are several good restaurants, an ice cream parlour directly by the sea, a supermarket, other shopping facilities as well as a riding stable, bicycle rental and a sailing school. The newly opened "Boddenmarkt" forms the centre of the village. Glowe also has a newer harbour with moorings for pleasure boats. The wild natural cliffs of the Jasmund Peninsula begin behind the harbour
Many cycling and hiking trails invite you to take relaxing excursions in the surrounding area. A hike north to Breege leads 9 km along the Bodden. There you can fortify yourself with wonderful freshly smoked fish in the "Kleinen Hafenräucherei". A cycle tour on the separate cycle path along the Schaabe to Juliusruh is rewarded with a visit to the ice cream café "Sirolo", where you can try a unique product of the island: delicious sandsdorn ice cream with whole fruits!
Particularly recommendable places are the chalk coast with the famous Königsstuhl (Sassnitz) in the Jasmund National Park (World Natural Heritage) and Spyker Castle. You will also find a small romantic harbour in Martinshafen. The "Niedlich" café in Lohme offers a beautiful view of the sunset over the Tromper Wiek towards Cape Arkona.

Great location, very good facilities
Also in winter a very pleasant place to relax with wide hiking trails from Glowe on the beach, on the steep coast, in the Schaabe forest.
The flat is very well furnished and is located on the edge of Glowe close to the beach and close to the Schaabe forest. You can also start relaxing bike tours from here.

Groß, geschmackvoll, gut!
Diese Wohnung ist überdurchschnittlich groß und dazu mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist komplett (bis auf die Mülltüten...) und intakt. Bei der Sauberkeit gab es keine Probleme.
Sie liegt in Strandnähe und Restaurants sind nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreichbar.
Leider hatten wir sehr schlechtes Wetter... Umso wichtiger ist dann eine Wohnung, in der es sich aushalten lässt!
