An ideal place to relax and let the worries of everyday life behind. With children, dog on the beach or just resting in the solitude of the dunes.
The area is wonderful in every season.
The shortest path through the dunes to the beach of Nieuw Haamstede is the 600m long "Vuurtorenpad".
The beach has several facilities. At the foot of "Vuurtorenpad" there is parking for cars and bicycles. There is a toilet building with laundry facility, which is open 24 hours. There, a beach pavilion where you can also rent beach cabanas and chairs.
You can enter the beach at any time of year dates. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed. (Between 10:00 to 19:00). Between 15 September and 15 May, the dogs are allowed to run free.
On the "Meeuwenduinen" (The Seagulls dunes) (220 ha) have for the breeding season limited access. From March 15 to July 15, you can enter the path marked only with organized accompaniment. It is very soothing and learn insightful know about these dunes!
In Nieuw Haamstede is a small supermarket for daily needs.

Nice, cozy cottage
The house is simple, but comfortable and well-furnished, especially the kitchen equipment is very good, the beds are pleasant, the bathroom is also in good condition. Very positive is the large plot of land and the spacious terrace with a large table and sufficient number of chairs. Due to its southwest orientation, the garden has plenty of sun throughout the day. In this accommodation, you can relax and come to rest. However, the living space is quite small, which doesn't matter in nice weather and in summer anyway, as you spend a lot of time outside (the garden is large).

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus liegt an einer ruhigen, im wesentlichen nur von Anliegern befahrenen Straße. Generell ist es in der Siedlung und um das Domizil herum angenehm ruhig, da die Häuser alle separat auf einem eigenen Grundstück stehen. Der wunderschöne breite Sandstrand, hinter einer beeindruckenden Dünenlandschaft gelegen, ist in fußläufiger Entfernung, so dass man das Auto selten braucht. Besonders positiv: Am Strand ist es nicht rummelig und nie überfüllt, selbst in der Hochsaison verteilen sich die Besucher und man kann die schöne Natur in aller Ruhe genießen.
free time activities: Man kann gut Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen,außerdem natürlich spazieren gehen und am Strand laufen. Aber auch Naturbeobachtungen sind gut möglich in den Dünen und im nahe gelegenen Waldgebiet. Wer mehr Aktivitäten will, findet diese in Westenschouwen oder Renesse, beides ist ja nicht mehr als ca 6 Kilometer entfernt.
shopping facilities: Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, der gut ausgestattet ist und zu Fuß in fünf Minuten erreichbar ist. Der nächste große Supermarkt in Burgh ist ca. 3 - 4 KM entfernt, somit auch per Rad erreichbar.
