Very nice vacation despite the bad weather.

The holiday home of the Hansing family is highly recommended, the landlady is very accommodating and nice. We only got to know her over the phone, but everything worked out. The surroundings can be explored well by bike or car, unfortunately, we had to do a lot by car because the weather didn't cooperate, but we made the best of it. For those interested in the navy, the museum in Wilhelmshaven is very interesting because you can visit all the ships from the inside. But in good weather, you can also spend your evening on the beautiful terrace and have a nice barbecue evening ☺️ we can also fully agree with the other reviews ? ?

Great holiday home with top-notch service

We booked this holiday home relatively last minute and were more than satisfied. The description matches reality. The house is very nice and quiet, with a very comprehensive equipment, especially in the kitchen. There is a shed where you can store bicycles, among other things. The entire house was spotlessly cleaned. There was also a collection of maps and tips for dining and exploring the area, of which we took advantage of a lot. The landlady called us the evening before arrival and was always available. Absolutely recommended. Some landlords should take a leaf out of her book. We will definitely come back.

In May/June 2021, we spent three very beautiful and relaxing weeks at the holiday home of the Hansing family. Prior to our stay, we had nice and uncomplicated contact with Mrs. Hansing. Our expectations for the holiday home were far exceeded. The holiday home is lovingly and tastefully furnished. The furniture is high-quality and modern. The electrical appliances are of good quality brand. The kitchen is fully equipped, with absolutely nothing missing. In the vacation home, everything was freshly disinfected and everything, really everything, was spotlessly clean. The vacation home is located in absolute quiet. Most of the time, we only heard the chirping of birds and nothing else. A few days before the start of the vacation, Mrs. Hansing sent us all the necessary documents (guest card and the code for the front door). We can recommend the vacation home with a clear conscience and will definitely come back again.

I can repeat everything that has already been reported in the previous reviews! From the first phone contact to the refund of our deposit, we felt well taken care of. Ms. Hansing always responded promptly to all questions and contacts, or even called back. Since everything was already booked out, I called to ask if maybe someone had canceled. Unfortunately, at the time of my inquiry, this was not the case. However, a few weeks later, Mrs. Hansing called me because someone had canceled. Mrs. Hansing sends a contract that should be signed and returned. After payment, you even receive the North Sea Service Card at home. With the same mail, you will receive a code that allows you to open the door. So, you do not need a key and can therefore be flexible in your arrival time. One day before arrival, Mrs. Hansing calls again to inquire if there are any further questions. From that phone call on, my husband was also totally enthusiastic. We had never experienced such caring support before. The house also lives up to everything it promises in the description: spotless, very stylish and tastefully furnished. The kitchen has every imaginable utensil - even aluminum foil, dishwasher tabs, coffee filters, spices, baking sheets, storage containers... There is also enough dishes for the dishwasher. I don't want to forget that there was a bottle of wine ready for our welcome. Thank you for that, Mrs. Hansing. In the bathrooms, there is hand sanitizer as well as very pleasant hand soap available. We had very changeable weather during our vacation and were very glad that the house was well heated. There is ample information material for outings, bike tours, museum visits, etc. Nesse is located roughly in the middle of the East Frisian Islands. Therefore, it provides a good starting point to explore all the coastal villages.

We booked the house at very short notice, just a few days before. From the first contact, we felt very well taken care of. Communication with the Hansing family was totally uncomplicated and just very nice. Thanks also for the great excursion tips for Wilhelmshaven and for the tip on bicycle rental! The holiday home and the garden are very clean, the equipment is simply perfect, and the entire interior design is lovingly and tastefully done. Especially the many beautiful little lamps in the windows have captivated us. We spent wonderful four days in the holiday home, were able to relax, and recovered very well. Pure peace and relaxation

From contacting us to the end of our holiday, the communication with the Hansing family was simply top-notch! The deposit was transferred back directly after the holiday! If you had any questions, Mrs Hansing was always there!
The holiday home is absolutely lovingly furnished! The lighting is harmonious and very pleasant! The seating is also just great! You arrive and feel right at home! Everything is super clean, modern and very well maintained! The house is in an absolutely quiet location, so you have a restful sleep at night! You'd think it was always Sunday! The two bathrooms are also in absolutely top condition! Bathing and showering is really fun! Ok, the water pressure in the shower could be a bit higher, but that doesn't detract from it! In the kitchen you will find everything your heart desires! Cooking is fun there! Our bikes were also safely stored in the cabin! The TV and the hi-fi system have a great sound!
The only thing that could be criticised (if you value it) is the lack of Wi-Fi. Of course, we knew in advance that this was not available there, which did not bother us. But we personally had very poor reception for our mobile data in the house. That is why "Whats-App"messages also went out very, very badly, sometimes it took hours! But that is our personal opinion and should not diminish the impression left behind or the rating! We had very nice days there! Many thanks for that!

The holiday home "Hinter der Mühle" delivers everything that is described. The house was in an extremely well-maintained and very clean condition, so that one could feel comfortable right away. (Blankets and sofa cushions were freshly washed, the two bathrooms very clean and disinfected, and the kitchen utensils also very clean and therefore ready for use). Everything in the house worked perfectly and thanks to the heating on a low setting, the house was also pleasantly warm in autumn, so you surely won't freeze in this house even in winter. The landlords contacted us in a very friendly and pleasant manner to handle the formalities, and we were assured that we could always reach out with any questions. The house is located in a very quiet residential area. By car, you can quickly reach the beach and the surrounding towns, where you can stroll around. The holiday home also had a collection of recommended restaurants and current flyers for possible activities, etc. Overall, the holiday home "Hinter der Mühle" offers all the possibilities to relax there and have a truly lovely vacation, as we did. Ein echtes Komfortferienhaus

In this beautiful new holiday home, we didn't miss anything. When we arrived, we found the garden, the large terrace, and the house in top condition. We had never stayed in such a beautifully furnished and, above all, clean holiday home (finally no pine furniture). Truly a house of "extra class"! Totally quiet and nice location, directly behind a mill and yet very central, so you have an ideal starting point for excursions or a beach vacation. Many shopping options in Dornum are only 2 km away. We had never been to East Frisia before, so we really appreciated that the landlords provided a whole folder full of excursion destinations, day trips, and recommended local restaurants. We did a lot of these suggestions and had a great time every time. Thank you very much, great idea. We will definitely come back to this uniquely beautiful holiday home, with its high-quality interior and maritime decoration. Highly recommended! The family put in a lot of effort and put together good restaurants and excursion options for vacationers! It was a perfect experience from start to finish and simply perfect and 100% recommendable. The location is peaceful, and in about 5 minutes, you are already at the North Sea by car (or bike).
Nearby (Dornum), there are good shopping options for groceries.

You feel comfortable and "arrived on vacation" from the first moment.

The house is fantastic.

Particularly noteworthy is the spacious kitchen equipment and the cleanliness/hygiene in the house. Very friendly contact with the landlord, as well as with the "caretaker" (please forgive me for using the term!).

Comfortable house with a high relaxation value

There is absolutely no reason to give any negative review. We were very impressed by the extraordinary care put into the selected details of the furnishings. From the moment we entered the house, we felt at home. We were delighted by the welcome via SMS. Even on the way home, the hosts wished us a safe journey. It felt like we had been guests with friends. The quiet location as well as the proximity to the mill with its friendly service (bread, newspapers, etc.) made the days start positively. In good weather, we could have relaxed breakfasts or other meals on the terrace. We enjoyed sitting in the beach chair. This house is, almost a secret tip, no longer possible today, thanks to the internet. We wish the landlords only guests who are worth taking care of this gem. Our review goes beyond the above. Criteria go far beyond.

Wonderful vacation in a dream house

We spent the May holidays in Nesse and will not have been there for the last time. The house is new and very modernly equipped and offers everything your heart desires. A great kitchen for cooking together, a cozy living room to relax, and very good beds for restful nights. The connections are also great. You can quickly reach the Baltrum pier, Neßmersiel, and Dornum. You can also quickly drive to Aurich, Norden, or Greetsiel by car. From Nesse, you have basically the ideal base for a very beautiful Friesland vacation. In short, those who have not been there do not know how beautiful it is and how nice it can be by the sea. Highly recommended! ! !

Ein absolutes Traumhaus

We spent our summer vacation in Nesse in 2014 and will definitely come back. A new, super clean and fully equipped house to feel comfortable. We especially loved the maritime decor and the fact that the small holiday village is beautifully quiet! We could quickly reach everything: the islands, the ports, shopping facilities, the beach, the small resorts on the coast. Thank you for the wonderful time, we are already recommending the house to friends! It was the most beautiful house of all - and we had already had many!
