For those arriving by car winter equipment including snow chains is strongly recommended. The approach road to the house is cleared regularly. With heavy snow chains may still be necessary, or chains are required on the Gerlos Pass exist. In addition to the free parking space in front of the house there is the possibility to rent separate garage in the district Duxeralm to avoid the open blades of the car. Hut Duxeralm - Hochkrimml
Cozy accommodation in a good location. A very nice ski area. You have to get used to the night storage heating. Overall, a nice ski vacation.

Very nice uncomplicated cabin
The stay in the cabin was very pleasant. There were five of us and we had plenty of space for everything. The cabin is great and beautifully situated, nicely rustic furnished and clean. The cabin has everything necessary; unfortunately, we couldn't use the fireplace and there was no WiFi.
The local mountain (Gerlosplatte) is an excellent ski area and provided us with a perfect snowboarding week, thanks to plenty of fresh snow.
Highly recommended and will be considered again for the next vacation!

Hochkrimml Hut Ski Vacation
We spent a lovely skiing vacation in Hochkrimml. The apartment is adequately equipped and clean. In winter, it can be problematic to drive directly to the house when there is a lot of snow, so it's worth renting a garage parking space.

Vicinity of the holiday home: sehr ruhig am Waldrand gelegen, Lopie direkt hinter dem Haus
free time activities: Skilifte in wenigen Metern/Minuten erreichbar
shopping facilities: Leider in direkter Umgebung nicht vorhanden, da reine Feriensiedlung. Zum Einkaufen muss man in den nächsten Ort fahren. Brötchen/Kleinigkeiten kann man morgens im Lädle besorgen.

Cosy holiday apartment in the Duxeralm district
We stayed in the vacation rental for a week in December 2013 and felt very comfortable. The snow conditions allowed for skiing right up to the doorstep, and in the morning, it takes less than five minutes to walk to the ski lift.
