The artist's house, furnished in a modern and high-quality style by an artist, is just the right place for your holiday. On sqm of living space under the thatched roof surrounded by stylish acrylic paintings, it is a good place to stay at any time of the year. When it's cold, you can relax in the spacious living room on leather sofas in front of the fireplace or in the sauna, while in sunny weather breakfast on the south-facing terrace or lazing in the beach chair is the order of the day. Two parking spaces and a storage facility for bicycles in the garden house round off the beautifully landscaped and completely fenced property outside. The quiet location between the Baltic Sea beach (approx. ) and the Achterwasser (approx. 500m) ensures pure relaxation.

The "Künstlerhaus" is in a very quiet location on the edge of a small settlement of 11 similar holiday homes on a dead-end street with no through traffic.
From here it takes about 15 minutes to reach the Baltic Sea beach (fine-grained sand) or about the same time to reach the Achterwasser. A great advantage of the beach in Zempin is that it is not overcrowded even in the high season. With our handcart, you can pull your children and grandchildren directly to the beach, as the beach access is at ground level without stairs. Zempin is the smallest and quietest Baltic seaside resort on the island of Usedom in north-eastern Germany. Its central location at the narrowest point of the island makes Zempin a good starting point for cycling tours along the coast to the imperial spas with their spa architecture and sophisticated flair or to the north of the island with the seaside resorts of Zinnowitz, Karlshagen or Peenemünde. The dreamy fishing village of Zempin with its fine sandy Baltic Sea beach and the secluded corners with panoramic views on the Achterwasser offer everything romantics could wish for. A select range of restaurants and shopping facilities are available. Activities include a visit to the museums in Peenemünde, the butterfly farm in Trassenheide, a shopping trip to Swinemünde in Poland or a visit to the amber spa in Zinnowitz. The wide range of cultural opportunities on the island, a boat trip or a ride on the Bäderbahn can be easily realised due to the central location
The spa promenade in Zempin was extensively and attractively renovated in 2011/2012. It leads directly to the beach. In the area of the beach access, an event area was created where small live concerts take place free of charge (financed by the spa taxes) in the evenings during the summer months. A small restaurant (drinks, bratwurst and fish sandwiches) has been set up. Toilets and washrooms are available. Next to the event area, a children's playground was built and beautifully designed with lots of playground equipment.
Golf: The nearest 18-hole golf course is located in Balm on Lake Neppermin. Balm is about 20 km away. You will find another 18-hole golf course in Korswandt on Lake Wolgast. Korswandt is about 25 km away.

The 'Künstlerhaus' is lovingly furnished for a holiday with up to 6 adults and 2 small children. On the spacious south-facing terrace, our guests have a teak garden table with chairs and parasol, as well as four relaxation loungers and a beach chair. For barbecuing, you can put the electric barbecue (a charcoal barbecue is not allowed because of the fire hazard of the thatched roof) from the garden house on the terrace. The handcart, two highchairs, baby bath, children's crockery and cutlery, child safety fuses in the sockets and step stools in the bathrooms make holidays with small children easier. The underfloor heating provides even warmth and is pleasant when the children want to play on the floor. Washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room as well as WLAN in the entire house are available to our guests free of charge.

Great house
We had a wonderful stay at the artist house! The holiday home was very clean, well-maintained, and furnished with great attention to detail. Everything you need was really there – from the kitchen equipment to little extras that made the stay particularly pleasant. You can tell that there was work done here with heart and taste. The atmosphere is cozy and inspiring – perfect for relaxing and feeling good. We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Künstlerhaus!

We had a great short break in the beautiful city of Paris.
The house is very well equipped and immediately invites you to feel comfortable. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and provided with plenty of information. The house is modernly furnished and leaves almost nothing to be desired (we missed a casserole dish in the kitchen), but otherwise everything was plentiful. It is only a short walk to the beach and the harbor, inviting you to take a stroll. We would love to come back to this house again.

A great week before the Easter holidays!
The week before the Easter holidays in the beautiful Künstlerhaus exceeded all expectations. The tastefully and lovingly furnished holiday home offers every comfort one could wish for a relaxing vacation. We stayed here with three adults and two five-year-old children and felt completely comfortable. The house has an extremely generous equipment - two large bathrooms, three bedrooms, one of them with an additional cot and sleeper chair, a kitchen with comprehensive equipment including dishwasher, microwave, and oven. We mainly cooked ourselves and baked pizza for the children - all comfort just like at home! The house offers enough space to take a break from the children's hustle and bustle during the day as well. The cozy sun terrace with seating and sun loungers was only really usable on three sunny days, but the beautiful island offers plenty of activities to discover even in less sunny weather. Unfortunately, this week passed by too quickly, and there are many good reasons to definitely return to the beautiful artist's house!
