Description
Our holiday home is located in a 100 year old settlement with old trees. Each house is different and individual. There are several simple restaurants in the settlement (partly closed seasonally).
In front of the house is a south-facing terrace with garden table, 6 chairs, parasol, garden barbecue, fireplace and beach chair. The house has a shed where you can store your bicycles. An older bicycle is at your disposal for fetching bread etc..
Especially the cosy attic studio, from which you can see the nearby Baltic Sea, invites you to relax, play, chat ... ...
The house was built about 30 years ago and completely renovated and modernised in 2012. You can expect a modern and at the same time comfortably furnished holiday home for 4 - 5 people, with 2 bedrooms (double bed and comfortable double sofa bed) and a sofa bed in the attic studio. You will find the equipment in detail in the equipment table.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is 50 m away from the access to the wide Priwall beach. Within walking distance you can reach the ferry that takes you to the Vorderreihe in Travemünde in just a few minutes.
With its wonderful location between the beach and the adjacent large nature reserve on the one hand and close to the Vorderreihe/Kurpromenade of Travemünde with its casino, restaurants, pubs and shops on the other, our holiday home offers the perfect mix between relaxing and experiencing.
In the morning you can take a walk along the beach with its beautiful morning atmosphere and then have breakfast on the south-facing terrace or at the sunny dining area in the house. Afterwards, if the weather is nice, you can spend a relaxing day on the wide beach, which, unlike most other Baltic Sea beaches, offers enough space and privacy even in high summer.
You can rent beach chairs directly to the left of our beach access or take the beach equipment we provide (beach loungers, beach shell/parasol, picnic blanket and basket) with you to the beach. For those who enjoy exercise, there are wonderful cycling tours to be made; the Baltic Sea long-distance cycle path from Flensburg to Usedom passes directly by our settlement. Bicycles can be rented at the Landal Park next door or at the bicycle rental at the ferry.
If the weather is not so good, you can relax in the roof studio while reading, playing games or watching TV, or you can visit the large adventure swimming pools in Travemünde or Timmendorfer Strand. Day trips to Lübeck (20 km), Wismar (45 km) or Hamburg (80 km) are also possible. For children, a trip to the Hansapark near Sierksdorf (approx. 20 km) is certainly a special highlight.
In the evenings, you can cook in the new, well-equipped kitchen or barbecue on the terrace by the cosy wood fire in the terrace oven. If you prefer to eat out, you have the choice between several quaint and inexpensive restaurants right in the settlement or on the Vorderreihe/Kurpromenade/Altstadt of Travemünde or also the 2** kitchen in Travemünde. It is only a short walk to the ferry, which takes you directly to the Vorderreihe in a few minutes.
Called the "most beautiful daughter of Lübeck", the Baltic seaside resort of Travemünde is characterised by its wide sandy beach, the old town with its historic facades directly on the water. A landmark is the Maritimhotel on the beach. A highlight is the Travemünde Week, which takes place every year at the end of July.
In the old town and the "Vorderreihe" (front row) directly on the Trave, you will find numerous restaurants, pubs and shopping facilities that are also open on Sundays.
The wide beach with a length of 2.5 km with the new beach promenade, the stylish old villas and casino invite you to stroll and relax. There is also a beach fun park for children.
Travemünde is a year-round holiday and recreational experience. The beach and the well-developed hiking trails offer the possibility of beautiful winter walks.
Famous are the Christmas market in Lübeck, which is also open beyond the holidays until the and the New Year's Eve beach fireworks with a giant party on Travemünde beach.
The house is located directly on the Baltic Sea Cycle Path, which stretches from Flensburg to Usedom. The corresponding cycling guides are available to our guests. Endless cycling pleasure on well-maintained and signposted cycle paths is guaranteed. Bicycle rental stations are located nearby.
Horse riding is possible on Priwall and outside the high season also on the beach. A riding stable is about 300 m away.
The neighbouring villages of Niendorf with its fishing harbour and fish sale from the cutter and Timmendorfer Strand are enticing.
About 15 km away is Lübeck, historic Hanseatic and Thomas Mann city. Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site with its water-flooded old town and its sights
Numerous other excursion destinations beckon, such as the Hanseatic city of Wismar (also a World Heritage Site) 45 km away, the enchanting island of Poel (60 km) or the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg (85 km).
In the immediate vicinity, you can visit the four-masted sailing ship Passat at the Priwall marina, the Baltic station on Priwall, which is also within walking distance, Sealife on Timmendorfer Strand (10 km), the Scharbeutz leisure pool (15 km) or the Hansepark adventure park in Sirksdorf (20 km).
Priwall is the peninsula opposite Travemünde. It is surrounded by water on three sides and can be reached from Travemünde by a car ferry that runs day and night, and in the summer season also by a passenger ferry. The landmark is the four-masted barque PASSAT at the marina, which can be visited during the season.
The landscape of Priwall is characterised by the wide sandy beach in the north and the Pötenitzer Wiek nature reserve in the south.
During the summer season (), a beach chair rental service is operated. Beach loungers and a beach umbrella belong to the house. There is a dog beach within walking distance. Dogs and riders are free to roam outside the season. The beach runs along the entire Baltic Sea coast and is ideal for long walks.
At a distance of about 50 metres, the beautiful wide white Baltic Sea beach begins.
Travemünde is home to the large Scandinavian ferry port. Watch the ships passing by in just a few metres

| The (50,- €) is included in the stated rental price for one week. In addition, there is the bed tax of 5 %. For pets we charge a flat rate of 5 € per day or 20 € per week. Bed linen can be booked optionally for € 10 per person. Outside the high season July/August, shorter bookings than one week are also possible. Please ask us for the desired travel dates. |
Cancellation terms:
In the event of a cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival, the deposit of 20% will be forfeited. In the event of a cancellation within 6 weeks of arrival, the remaining payment of 80% will only be due if we are unable to re-rent the house.
