Description
The house offers 115 sqm of living space on two floors and has a high-quality and cosy interior. The latest generation of underfloor heating has been installed throughout the house, as well as a modern fireplace. Of course, there is plenty of firewood available.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located on an approx. 2500m² plot in Strasen, a small village on Lake Ellenbogensee. In the middle of the beautiful Mecklenburg Kleinseeplatte and directly on the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route.
We built our family-friendly, modernly furnished holiday home here in 2011 and hope that you too will be enchanted and de-stressed by the idyllic surroundings. If you are looking for a change from motor boating or paddling, you can explore the varied forest and lake area by bike. You are alone, constantly by the water and can enjoy the slowness to the full.
The holiday home is located on a very quiet cul-de-sac, directly on the lake framed by beautiful old trees. At the lake there is a small bathing area and the marina with the boat moorings.
Shopping facilities and restaurant are within easy reach on foot or by bike.
In the evening, a Trabantshuttle can be booked for the way home from the restaurant and in the morning we offer a bread roll service - on order.
The large meadow in front of the house invites you to sunbathe or play.
There are several parking spaces for vehicles on the property as well as a double carport.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, smoking is not permitted in the house. Pets unfortunately also have to stay outside!
You can easily order bed linen as well as hand and shower towels at the same time. The village is situated on a canal with a lock, which connects the Ellbogensee in the east and the Pälitzsee in the west.
Strasen is situated between Rheinsberg, Fürstenberg and Wesenberg.

Two motor boats for 6 persons can be rented (1 x licence free and 1 x licence required). The boats are located a few metres from the house at the private marina. The boats are handed over and a detailed briefing is given by our harbour master on site!

A very nice winter vacation
A big compliment at this point!
The holiday home offers all comforts and is very high-quality furnished.
Just the right thing for the winter days were the private sauna and the fireplace!
Big plus point: Firewood was available in sufficient quantity and at no additional cost! We didn't know this from our previous winter vacations!
We were there in mid-December for a week to relax from the everyday stress and really enjoyed it!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Grundstück und die nähere Umgebung sind einfach toll!
free time activities: Am anderen Ende des kleinen Ortes "Strasen" befindet sich der "Büffelhof". Dies ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant in dem man unter anderem, wie der Name schon verrät, ein sehr leckeres Steak vom Büffel serviert bekommt. Das Restaurant ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen!

Very pleasant stay!
The house and the large garden are maintained with attention to detail and you can see that here.
Very nice are the many birds that get their meals directly at the house from the feeders.

free time activities: Rheinsberg sowie der Tierpark Kunsterspring sind einen Besuch wert (auch / erst recht im Winter).
shopping facilities: Wir hatten all unsere Verpflegung mitgebracht. Nach wenigen Minuten Autofahrt liegt jedoch eine kleine Stadt mit mehreren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Dreamlike, anytime again!
It was one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacations that our family of 5 has experienced in the last few years. The detailed description from the landlord about the perfectly furnished house, the beautiful property, and the picturesque landscape was absolutely confirmed on site! A very nice place to simply let your soul dangle. On the last day, we used a boat tour, which we could book directly with the house! We will be back!!! Family S. Neumann

free time activities: Der Vermieter des Ferienhauses hat einen sehr komplexen Ordner mit allerhand Freizeitmöglichkeiten zusammengestellt!
Haben uns etwas geärgert, dass wir das Motorboot nur am letzten Tag gebucht haben! Dies werden wir beim nächsten Besuch auf den ganzen Aufenthalt ausdehnen!
shopping facilities: Mehrere gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem PKW innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreiche!
