Description
The house is all ground floor and surrounded by a big garden (total 1200 m2), with several terraces to enjoy both sun and shade. The spacious living room has an open fire and piano. The kitchen is renovated in 2008 and includes all equipment. Bikes are available and little house on the beach is included in summer time. The house and garden are equipped for family holidays with sandbox, and furniture for children. No pets allowed and beds and continental quilts are covered for anti-allergy.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located outside the village of Zoutelande in the direction of Dishoek (2 km to centre of Zoutelande). The campings Meerpaal and Valkenisse are close by for restaurants, sauna and playgrounds. There is also a supermarket at Valkenisse camping.
The gardens offers a lot of privacy and the drive allows to keep children on the premises.
To go to the beach it will take 10 min on foot or 3 min by bike to cross the small forest to the dunes where you can park the bikes. Beach house is included in summer season to leave your stuff and have the availability of chairs, wind/sun shed etc.
Walcheren is known for the record of sun hours and has a lot to offer bikers, walkers, sailers, shoppers (Vlissingen / Middelburg at 8 km), culinary, culturally and nature. Zoutelande is a small village with a lot of restaurants, supermarket, bakery, butcher etc. It is nicely situated just at the sea. Other interesting villages nearby are Meliskerke, Biggekerke, Dishoek. Bigger towns with cinema and more shopping opportunities are Vlissingen (with harbour, possibility to take ferry to Breskens) and Middelburg (with historical centre). Veere at the Veerse Meer is perfect for water sports like surfing and sailing and has also a historical centre with markets organised in summer.

Very nice accommodation
The house is really well equipped.
Toys for children, beautiful garden, plenty of space by the lake with the beach house, and very complete and quiet. We will definitely come back.

Feel-good house
We were a total of 4 adults and one child in this great house. There was enough space for all of us, and there would have still been room for up to 3 more people. Since 2 bedrooms have their own sink and the house offers 2 toilets and 2 showers, it is really stress-free to use with so many people. We lacked nothing in the house! Even spices, coffee, laundry, and cleaning supplies were available. Especially the kitchen is really perfectly equipped. The garden and the large terrace invite cozy hours with delicious food. There is also provision for the well-being of children. There are plenty of play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. The beach and the location to the beach are very close and very beautiful. The contact with Margreet went very well and quickly. She was always there with advice and assistance immediately.

very beautiful holiday home
The holiday home is quietly located directly behind the dunes. The view from the dunes is beautiful and the beach is expansive. The beach house is very practical and nice, there are chairs and a windscreen. The garden is lovely and the area is wonderful for cycling with the available bicycles. Very well-maintained house that we would love to return to.

Feel-Good House
The house is perfectly equipped and very lovingly furnished. We all felt very comfortable as a family from grandparents to small grandchildren. The atmosphere of the house is very nice and the garden is enchanting. The house is very well equipped for children and also wheelchair-friendly for my mother. However, it may not be entirely ideal for people with significant mobility restrictions, as the open shower has a threshold and narrow access, and only one bathroom is wheelchair accessible. The de Kok family provided us with excellent advice and assistance to make our holiday possible for our challenging needs with a wheelchair user and very small babies. We highly recommend the house!

Holiday like at home, but at the North Sea!

We (grandparents, parents and child) had such a great holiday from 7 to 21/9/2018 that we would love to come back. It started with the detailed description of the holiday home and the friendly communication with the landlady. On arrival we immediately felt at home. This applied to the flat with its furnishings as well as to the well-kept garden. The way to the beach was so difficult for our grandchild (3 years) that her father had to help. Therefore, we appreciated the beach cottage with its complete equipment and the storage possibility for our things. The neighbouring restaurant / brasserie with its interesting playground also contributed a lot to the good mood of young and old.

Dadurch, dass 2 Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Waschbecken haben und das Haus 2 Toiletten und 2 Duschen bietet, ist es auch wirklich mit so vielen Leuten stressfrei zu nutzen.
Im Haus fehlte es uns an nichts! Sogar Gewürze, Kaffee, Wasch- und Putzmittel waren vorhanden. Vor allem die Küche ist wirklich perfekt ausgestattet. Der Garten und die große Terrasse laden zu gemütlichen Stunden mit leckerem Essen ein. Auch für das Wohlergehen von Kindern ist gesorgt. Es gibt drinnen und draußen genügend Spielmöglichkeit. Der Strand und die Lage zum Strand sind sehr nah und sehr schoen.
Der Kontakt zur Margreet verlief sehr gut und schnell. Sie stand immer mit Rat und Tat sofort zur Stelle.
Spielzeug für Kinder, wunderschönes Garten, am Mer viel Platz mit dem strandhaüschen und sehr Komplet und ruhig. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.
Das Haus ist sehr gut für Kinder ausgestattet und auch für meine Mutter (Rollstuhlfahrerin) ist es behindertenfreundlich eingerichtet. Alledings für Menschen mit straker beweglicher Einschränkung womöglich nicht ganz ideal, weil die offene Dusche eine Schwelle und einen engen Zugang hat und nur das eine Bad mit dem Rollstuhl passsierbar ist. Die Familie de Kok hat uns äußerst gut beraten und geholfen, dass der Urlaub für unseren schwierigen Ansprüche mit Rollstuhlfahrerin und sehr kleinen Babies überhaupt möglich war. Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen!
Wir (Großeltern, Eltern und Kind) hatten vom 7. bis zum 21. 9.2018 einen so tollen Urlaub, dass wir gerne wiederkommen würden. Es begann schon mit der ausführlichen Beschreibung des Ferienhauses und der freundlichen Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Bei der Ankunft fühlten wir uns gleich wie zu Hause. Das galt sowohl für die Wohnung mit ihrer Ausstattung als auch für den den gepflegten Garten. Der Weg zum Strand war für unser Enkelkind (3 Jahre) so schwierig, dass ihr Vater helfen musste. Daher haben wir das Strandhäuschen mit seiner kompletten Ausstattung und der Lagermöglichkeit für unsere Sachen zu schätzen gelernt. Zur guten Stimmung bei Groß und Klein trug auch das benachbarte Restaurant / Brasserie mit seinem interessanten Spielplatz viel bei.

Dass kein Fernseher vorhanden ist, hat uns kurz irritiert, aber es hat keinesfalls gefehlt!

Die vorhandenen Fahrräder haben wir gerne genutzt. Es gibt 5 Erwachsenenfahrräder und ein Kinderfahrrad für Kinder ab Grundschulalter. Da wir vorhaben auch mal mit 8 Leuten anzureisen, wäre es dann sehr schön auch Fahrräder für alle zu haben.
Der Kontakt zur Familie der Kok (Vermieter) verlief per Mail sehr gut und schnell. Sie standen immer mit Rat und Tat sofort zur Stelle. Selbst bei einer kleinen Komplikation, hat die Familie sofort gehandelt und Hilfe veranlasst. Ein großes Lob an die gesamte Familie und dieses schöne, große Haus!!
Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Weg zum Strand über die große Düne war leider für meinen Vater nicht zu schaffen, für alle anderen, die nur ein wenig fit sind, ist alles wunderbar.
Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.
Alles war perfekt sauber, die Bäder sind ganz neu renoviert und wir haben noch nie ein so gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus erlebt. Vor allem die Küche ist wirklich perfekt ausgestattet. Und auch für Kinder ist von der Babybadewanne über Spielzeug bis zum kleinen Sandkasten alles da. Sogar frische Blumen standen im Haus und auf der Terrasse. Auch der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und absol unkompliziert.
Wir würden das Haus sofort wieder buchen.
Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

For the children to two campings are close by for some additional playgrounds and doing quick shopping.
The small house at the sea was very practical and useful to leave our stuff and have shelter for the wind and sun.
The four bicycles gave us opportunity to explore this nice island of Zeeland by bike as well.
