Apartment PALAZZO PRINCIPE

Stresa

View German

A beautiful and super centrally located apartment

The apartment leaves nothing to be desired, it is very spacious, has two beautiful balconies, and is located in the middle of life :-) In addition, there is a garage for the apartment, which is pure luxury.

We were warmly welcomed by Yvonne during the handover of the apartment and could also contact her at any time with questions.

I hope that the apartment will be available again for the next Stresa vacation :-)

HOUSE LE SOMMET RARE

Stresa

5 stars are not enough.

The apartment in this excellent location is highly recommended if you arrive by car. The furnishings are stylish, complete, and well thought out. Everything is sparkling clean. And the view from the balcony over the lake is simply fantastic. The contact with the landlord and his nice wife is completely trouble-free and prompt. If there were more than 5 stars, they would have to be distributed.

Everything super - I can only recommend

Everything great: great location, spotlessly clean, super facilities, supermarket directly opposite, countless restaurants within walking distance, parking included (be careful with large cars; C-Class station wagon just fitted; difficult to park) , flexible check-out, good communication,.... gladly again

What do you need to experience in Stresa?

Let your soul dangle between the Grand Hotel and the grandiose nature

The first highlight in the beautiful town of Stresa is the lake view and the view from the lake back to the shore. In the former, the vastness of Lake Maggiore stretches out against the backdrop of the Alpine foothills. In the latter, the eye inevitably falls on the stately Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées. The Grand Hotel, which opened in 1863, expresses the luxury of travel in the late 19th century. The imposing historic building reveals its full splendor from Lake Maggiore, for example during an island hopping tour. In the Gulf of Verbania lie the Borromean Islands: Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and the privately owned Isola di San Giovanni. In the hinterland of Stresa, idyllic hiking routes invite you to explore. This makes your cheap holiday home an ideal starting point for a holiday with a pet or dog by the lake. From easy to difficult hikes, there is a suitable route for every active holidaymaker with a four-legged companion, for example on Stresa's local mountain, the Mottarone. If your stamina is exhausted, the Funivia Stresa Mottarone cable car connects the mountain slope with Stresa. Halfway up, the hike can be interrupted for a detour to the Botanical Garden Aplinia. Book now a comfortable holiday accommodation or a villa, a domicile, a house or an apartment near the city for your holiday according to your personal wishes with the family in Italy in Stresa in the best location. Numerous sights and possibilities for excursions await you in the town and in the Piedmont region.

What can you experience in Stresa with children?

Stresa - between the lake and the mountains

In addition to wet fun in the lake, there are many other leisure activities for the whole family in the surrounding area. The Mottarone can be whizzed down on the summer toboggan run. Explorers are drawn to the unimaginable riches in the historic gold mine of Macugnaga. Although the big gold nugget may not be found, this excursion to the former mine, now converted into a museum, is worthwhile. A treasure trove of knowledge can be unearthed in the resort. A visit to the beautiful Parco della Villa Pallavicino is worthwhile not only because of the colorful flora, but the park also houses a variety of animals.

Where can I eat out in Stresa?

The menu at Lake Maggiore: Variety of wine and fish

The landscape around your cheap holiday home, your comfortable apartment or one of the villas in the spa town in Italy in Stresa is characterized by green hills and rocky slopes as well as the blue of Lake Maggiore. These two contrasting worlds are also reflected in the menus of the restaurants around your private holiday apartment. From the waters of Lake Maggiore, fishermen catch plenty of perch, the symbol fish of the lake. In addition, lake trout, carp, char or pike are served on the local menus. These are often served with risotto. Rice cultivation has been a tradition in the Novara area for centuries. In addition to rice, the regional agriculture is characterized by meat and dairy farming. Sausage platters are served for a rustic dinner, especially popular are the Mortadella from the Ossola Valley, herb bacon or beef ham. This is accompanied by spicy Gorgonzola or strong goat cheese. Typically Italian and excellent is the wine from this region. The Ghemme D.O.C.G. is mentioned here as an example, but the pleasures of wine around Lake Maggiore are diverse and rich in species. Sweets should not be neglected in Stresa. The town is known for the Margheritine, invented and baked in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy. These are small shortcrust pastry stars spread with apricot jam. Your stay in the resort will be a culinary highlight. Stroll along the promenade after a successful meal.

How do I come to Stresa?

Over the Swiss passes to Lake Maggiore

Stresa is located on the western shore of Lake Maggiore in the Piedmont region. The way there by car leads via Basel and the St. Gotthard motorway to the lake, which is shared by Switzerland and Italy. The border between the countries is crossed at Piaggio Valmara. The federal highway 34 leads along the western shore of the lake to the south into the Piedmontese part of the lake, so you can directly reach Stresa and your private holiday apartment. Stresa can be reached by public transport by train via the Basel-Milan connection. Alternatively, you can fly to Milan, from where trains to Lake Maggiore depart hourly. Book now an accommodation or a comfortable holiday apartment, a villa, a domicile or a holiday home in the resort on the promenade in the best location according to your personal wishes for your holiday in the beautiful spa town of Stresa in Italy not far from many sights.
