The apartment is located in a small house in Stresa-Someraro, in a very quiet and sunny location, in a green area on the hill of Stresa, with a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Maggiore, 2 km from the center of Stresa. Two restaurants 150 m from the house. Bus stop (Someraro-Stresa). In Stresa, there is the Conad supermarket, Via G. Carducci 30 (Mon-Sun 7:30-20:00), with an underground parking, and the Carrefour supermarket, Via Roma 11. Numerous and varied walks with many marked paths. Starting point for beautiful excursions (Borromean Islands, Lake Orta, Arona, Santa Caterina del Sasso, Villa Taranto, Umbrella Museum in Gignese, Milan, Ticino/Switzerland, etc.)

Great view and very nice hosts
We had a great stay in the very pretty vacation home, the view of Lake Maggiore is breathtaking.
We were greeted very friendly by the host and received some good tips, which we implemented. Visiting the 3 islands is actually a must. Stresa and the surrounding area also offer really good excursion destinations for a 2-week vacation.

5 stars are not enough.
The apartment in this excellent location is highly recommended if you arrive by car. The furnishings are stylish, complete, and well thought out. Everything is sparkling clean. And the view from the balcony over the lake is simply fantastic. The contact with the landlord and his nice wife is completely trouble-free and prompt. If there were more than 5 stars, they would have to be distributed.

Simply great

Heerlijk verblijf gehad
Prachtig breed en ruim balkon dat uitkijkt over de Stresa , de Borromeo eilanden en tot aan de andere kant Maccagno. Het meubilair is gedateerd, maar is nog steeds degelijk en het heeft zo zijn charme. De bedden waren prima en het huis was voor aankomst (wij konden nog vrij laat arriveren) grondig gereinigd. Niets op aan te merken. Boodschappen deden wij bij de Conad in Stresa en bij de Coop in Gravellona. Voor het strand reden wij naar Spiaggia Isolino Vecchio, Verbania.
Verder kun je vanuit het plaatsje een mooie klim maken naar de Mottarone, vanwaar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt over de vele meren. De eigenaren verwelkomden ons hartelijk en hadden nog een lekker wit wijntje voor ons klaar gezet. Mooie start van je vakantie op een wel heel romantische plek.

Schöner großer und geräumiger Balkon mit Blick auf Stresa, die Borromäischen Inseln und auf der anderen Seite Maccagno. Die Möbel sind veraltet, aber immer noch solide und haben ihren Charme. Die Betten waren in Ordnung und das Haus war vor unserer Ankunft gründlich gereinigt worden (wir konnten recht spät anreisen). Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Wir haben im Conad in Stresa und im Coop in Gravellona eingekauft. Zum Strand fuhren wir nach Spiaggia Isolino Vecchio, Verbania.
Außerdem kann man von der Stadt aus einen schönen Aufstieg zum Mottarone machen, von dem aus man eine tolle Aussicht auf die vielen Seen hat. Die Besitzer empfingen uns sehr herzlich und hatten einen schönen Weißwein für uns bereit. Ein großartiger Start in Ihren Urlaub an einem sehr romantischen Ort.

Beautiful wide and spacious balcony overlooking Stresa , the Borromeo Islands and to the other side Maccagno. The furniture is dated but is still solid and it has its charm. The beds were fine and the house had been thoroughly cleaned before arrival (we were able to arrive quite late). Nothing to complain about. We did our shopping at the Conad in Stresa and at the Coop in Gravellona. For the beach we drove to Spiaggia Isolino Vecchio, Verbania.
Furthermore, you can make a nice climb from the town to the Mottarone, from where you have great views over the many lakes. The owners welcomed us warmly and had a nice white wine waiting for us. Great start to your holiday in a very romantic place.

Relaxing holiday with a view
The access road to the accommodation requires driving skills because it is extremely narrow and steep. Once you have fought your way to your destination, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the beautiful Lake Maggiore! The flat is equipped with everything you need in the household and the spacious balcony can be accessed from the living room, bedroom and kitchen. Shopping facilities are only a few kilometres away. We enjoyed the time very much. A big thank you again to the very hospitable landlord Mr Mirandi. We would be happy to recommend this holiday flat to others?

Vielen Dank für die positive Bewertung. Ich möchte angeben, dass die kürzeste Zufahrtsstraße, aber schmal und steil, vom GPS-System (Google Maps) angezeigt wird, während es eine breite und bequeme Hauptstraße gibt, die jedoch länger als 500 m ist.
