Welcome to Zilt & Bries – your stylish retreat right by the sea.

This lovingly furnished apartment combines the calming atmosphere of the North Sea with modern living comfort. Soft, natural tones, inspired by sand, dunes, sea, and sky, create a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere where you can relax from the moment you arrive.

The apartment is located on the 5th floor of the terraced apartment building on the quiet south side of Egmond aan Zee. There is no road in front of the building – only dunes, beach, sea, a small shell path, and a bicycle parking area. Enjoy absolute peace and quiet and an unobstructed view of the unique coastal landscape.

The heart of the apartment is the spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen, large windows, and the approximately 20 m² terrace that extends across the entire width of the apartment. From here, you can experience the North Sea in all its beauty. Make yourself comfortable in the cozy alcove in the living room or on the lounge furniture on the terrace and watch the fascinating interplay of light, waves, and clouds. Absolute peace and quiet in winter, vibrant beach life in summer, sailboats, kitesurfers, horses on the beach, seagulls – every day and every season offers a new panorama.

The path to the beach leads directly from the front door. There you can enjoy time in one of the cozy beach pavilions, take long walks, or simply relax in a beach chair or on a sun lounger. The expansive "Noordhollands Duinreservaat" (North Holland Dune Reserve) is just as close, where you can experience the unique natural landscape of the dunes and, with a bit of luck, spot Scottish Highland cattle and wild horses roaming freely.

The lively center of Egmond aan Zee is only about a five-minute walk away. Here you'll find cozy restaurants, cafés, small shops, bars, bakeries, a supermarket, and ice cream parlors – all within easy walking distance.

Zilt & Bries is modern and comfortably furnished, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. Start your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee from the filter or Nespresso machine while enjoying the sea view. For a quick treat, typical Dutch specialties like bitterballen, kaassoufflés, or croquettes can be easily prepared in the air fryer – perfect for a relaxing evening after a stroll on the beach. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay, so you can stay connected at all times.

There's also plenty to discover in the area surrounding Egmond. The historic cheese town of Alkmaar is only about 10 kilometers away. Amsterdam can be easily reached in about 45 minutes by car or in approximately 38 minutes by train from the neighboring town of Heiloo. The towns of Bergen and Schoorl, just a few kilometers away, are also worth a visit.

Parking: This accommodation has a private garage with an entrance 2,48m wide, inside 2.80 m wide, 6 m long, and 1.87 m high. Charging electric vehicles in the garage is unfortunately not permitted.
