Description
Suite Schelpenpad has two bedrooms, an extra sleeping place in the spacious living room and offers space for five people. In addition, there is a very spacious kitchen with various appliances, a cozy dining area, a modern bathroom and a separate toilet. The balcony (20 m2!) has a lounge sofa and an outdoor table with chairs. The apartment is on the 1st floor and covers 100 m2. In the storage room there is space to store your bicycles and/or suitcases. The apartment is also suitable for families with children.
From the apartment and the spacious balcony you have a beautiful view over the dunes and (partly) the North Sea. An impressive panorama, which is different every day depending on the weather conditions and season. Here you can also see Scottish highlanders, Konik horses and/or Exmoor ponies walking around freely.
You can walk to the beach in two minutes (with a cozy beach pavilion) or to the beautiful hiking trails that run through the North Holland dune reserve. The center of Egmond aan Zee is a 5-minute walk away. In addition, you can cycle wonderfully in the area and enjoy all the beauty that Egmond and the surrounding area have to offer. There is a large map in the apartment with the current walking and cycling paths and you will receive two dune maps.
Would you like to go to the city for a day? Then Alkmaar is recommended (10 km). A day trip to Amsterdam is also easy; 35 km by car or half an hour by train from Heiloo station.
There is an elevator in the building, but PLEASE NOTE: it stops between the floors, so you always have to go up or down a number of steps to reach the entrance of the apartment.
Parking on the public road, during the paid parking period you will receive a digital parking permit.

Pure relaxation
We have been to Holland many times, but never had such a cosy and beautiful accommodation. It was simply perfect. We immediately felt very welcome in a lovingly furnished flat. The view of the sea and dunes was priceless, actually. Everything was just right here. Price-performance ratio, friendliness of the landlords. In short: the best conditions for a perfect, relaxing holiday

Sehr schöne Wohnung, ideal gelegen
We spent the week over Christmas in the apartment with 4 adults, one child, and a baby, and felt very comfortable there.
The apartment is beautiful, tastefully and functionally furnished, everything you need is available and works perfectly.
The location at the southern end of Egmond with a view of the dunes is very quiet and relaxing. On foot, you can reach the center in 10 minutes, where there are many good restaurants. A supermarket with a comprehensive range is available there. You just have to walk around the house to get to the beach. We will definitely come back!

It was a great holiday in a comfortable accommodation.
We were very satisfied with the location and facilities of the apartment. Directly next to the dunes, you could also enjoy beautiful walks away from the beach. Would love to come back.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Everything was perfect: the location of the suite at the south end of Egmond aan Zee, the magnificent dune view, the spaciousness, and comfortable furnishings of the suite. And everything is in excellent condition. The suite is a starting point for wonderful beach and dune walks. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance in a few minutes. The landlords are very friendly. We had a very nice time in the Schelpenpad suite.
