Leons is a true Frisian village with a historic character in beautiful surroundings. It is an ideal destination for nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists. In the vicinity of Leons, you will find various nature reserves, such as De Alde Feanen National Park and the Frisian Lake District. Cities like Franeker and Sneek are also nearby. If you are interested in local culture, you should definitely give Frisian cuisine a chance. Taste typical Frisian delicacies, such as sugar bread, Fryske dúmkes (Frisian cookies), and Beerenburg, a traditional herbal liqueur. Für diesen Preis und Neubau deutlich besser als erwartet. An kühleren Abenden blieb es angenehm warm und dank mehrerer Bäder konnten alle morgens bequem fertig werden.
