In an exposed location on the Sellin high shore, in the Villa Philine built in 2012, a spacious 3-room apartment with approx. 98 m² of living space, furnished to a high standard and in a modern style for up to four people at the beginning of 2013. Clear lines, natural materials, and a well-thought-out room concept create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and relaxed comfort. Two quiet, darkenable bedrooms offer maximum sleeping comfort:
– one bedroom with a spacious double bed (2 × 2 m)
– another bedroom with two single beds (0.9 × 2 m)
Both have their own en-suite bathroom – one with shower and bathtub, the other with shower and separate WC.
The entire apartment is equipped with underfloor heating and is especially pleasant for barefoot walkers. The centerpiece of the apartment is the light-flooded living and kitchen area with exclusive genuine leather seating, Austrian oak furniture, a fireplace stove, as well as a fully equipped, modern kitchen with high-quality appliances, plenty of dishes and glasses – ideal for enjoyable evenings with a sea view.
Access to the apartment is comfortable and almost barrier-free:
You drive up Wilhelmstraße all the way to the top, just before the famous pier. The underground garage opens by remote control; from the parking space it is less than 20 steps to the elevator, which takes you directly to the 3rd floor and right up to your apartment door – also ideally suited for guests with limited mobility. We are happy to open one of the large French windows for you upon your arrival, so that you can immediately enjoy the breathtaking view from almost 100 meters up: the Baltic Sea, Germany’s most beautiful pier, and, on clear days, the chalk cliffs of Stubbenkammer.
During the warm summer months, all guests of Villa Philine have access to a private outdoor pool (15 × 5.5 m) – an exclusive place to dive in and relax. A bottle of Rotkäppchen Sekt Extra Dry awaits you as a welcome.

From here, there is a breathtaking panoramic view over the Baltic Sea, the famous Sellin pier, and the striking chalk cliffs of Stubbenkammer. The elevated position guarantees absolute tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the town center, while still allowing you to reach all amenities within a few minutes’ walk. The surroundings invite you to take long walks directly along the sea. You can reach the Sellin Pier, one of Rügen’s landmarks, in less than five minutes on foot – ideal for romantic sunsets, fresh sea air, and a touch of maritime culture. Restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and small shops are located in the immediate vicinity, so you can conveniently take care of everything you need on foot. The journey is straightforward: Drive up Wilhelmstraße all the way to the top, directly to Villa Philine, and park conveniently in the building’s own underground garage. From there, the elevator takes you directly to the 3rd floor, right to your apartment door – short distances and barrier-free access make your stay especially pleasant, even for guests with limited mobility. The combination of utmost tranquility, direct proximity to the sea, and central accessibility makes the location of Appartement Seaside one of the most valuable advantages of this accommodation – a place where you can hear the sound of the waves and let your soul unwind.
