Description
The small thatched holiday house is located in the northeast of the island of Rügen, just outside the small village of Neu Mukran, between the Baltic Sea resort of Binz and the port city of Sassnitz, the gateway to the Jasmund Peninsula with its famous chalk cliffs.
A small natural stone staircase leads you to the entrance of the holiday house.
From the entrance hall, you enter the living and dining area of the house. The living area, with its couch, armchairs, television, radio, reading lamp, and large windows, invites you to enjoy a cozy stay. The dining area is located at the back of the room. From there you enter the fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the small bathroom with shower and toilet.
A staircase behind the dining area leads you to the upper floor with its two separate bedrooms. The larger bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the smaller one with a single bed and an additional pull-out single bed. In front of the dormer window in the larger bedroom, there is a small, cozy seating area with two armchairs.
Next to the house is the terrace, equipped with a grill and garden furniture. The small lawn is located below the terrace.
The holiday home has a paved driveway for one car, which also serves as the parking space for it. You can store your bicycles in the available garage.
You are very welcome to bring your dog with you. There is a pizzeria, a bakery, and a snack bar in the village.

Location and surroundings of object
Just a short walk from the house (approx. 70 m) and you reach the Baltic Sea beach!
The holiday home is situated slightly elevated on a forested slope. In front of the house, about 70 m away, is the natural beach of the Prorer Wiek, which merges into a sandy beach towards Binz and invites you to swim and take beautiful walks along the beach.
In front of the house runs the Rügen cycle path and the road that connects Binz and Saßnitz.

Leider enttäuscht
Das Ferienhaus punktet mit seiner guten Lage – der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht.
Leider überwiegen für uns jedoch die negativen Eindrücke. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Durchgangsstraße, auf der der Verkehr bis spät in die Nacht deutlich zu hören ist. Hinzu kommen laute Geräusche vom Hafen sowie von der Kläranlage vor dem Haus, sodass an erholsame Ruhe kaum zu denken ist.
Besonders kritisch ist zudem die Zu- und Ausfahrt zum Grundstück. Durch die Lage an der stark befahrenen Straße ist das Ein- und Ausfahren sehr unübersichtlich und gefährlich, sodass hier jederzeit erhöhte Vorsicht geboten ist.
Im Inneren wirken die niedrigen Decken sehr beengend. Besonders die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist aufgrund der geringen Höhe problematisch – man stößt sich dort schnell den Kopf. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind lediglich durch eine dünne Tür voneinander getrennt, wodurch die Privatsphäre und Schalldämmung stark eingeschränkt sind. Das Bett im zweiten Zimmer verfügt im unteren Bereich zudem nicht über eine vollwertige Matratze und ist daher wenig komfortabel.
Auch die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Vor allem die Dusche sowie die Bereiche unter den kleinen Teppichen hätten deutlich gründlicher gereinigt werden müssen.
Zusätzlich entsprach der Internetauftritt aus unserer Sicht nicht dem aktuellen Zustand. Insbesondere die veröffentlichten Bilder der Außenanlage sowie der Blick auf die Ostsee vermitteln einen Eindruck, der vor Ort so nicht mehr gegeben ist. Dadurch waren unsere Erwartungen bei der Anreise deutlich anders als die tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten.
Insgesamt hat das Ferienhaus durch die Strandnähe zwar einen Pluspunkt. Aufgrund der erheblichen Lärmbelastung, der gefährlichen Zu- und Ausfahrt, der baulichen Gegebenheiten, des Reinigungszustands sowie der aus unserer Sicht nicht mehr aktuellen Darstellung im Internet würden wir es jedoch nicht erneut buchen.

Es ist sehr bedauerlich, dass Sie nicht zufrieden waren. Leider hatten wir keinen direkten Kontakt miteinander, um das Thema zu besprechen.
Ich selbst bin mehrmals im Jahr im Ferienhaus, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen und ggf. Reparaturen durchführen zu lassen.
Bezüglich Ihrer angesprochenen Sauberkeit wurde der Hausmeisterdienst beauftragt eine Großreinigung durchzuführen.
Aus der Karte in der Präsentation ist die Lage des Hauses ersichtlich. Es liegt an der Straße zwischen Sassnitz und Binz und der Hafen Mukran ist nicht weit entfernt.
Ebenso ist die Größe des Hauses als kleines Ferienhaus beschrieben. Auf den Bildern ist zu erkennen, dass es kein neu gebautes Haus ist, sondern ein älteres typisches Inselhaus ist.
Ich bedauere es sehr, dass Sie mich nicht während Ihres Aufenthaltes informiert haben.
