The first-class holiday apartment "Wander Lodge" with 110 sqm of living space is one of the absolute top properties in Willingen for sophisticated living requirements.

The holiday apartment, furnished in glamping style with simple elegance, is designed for 6 people. Ideal for multi-generational families and pleasure-seekers. The owner has created a refuge for you with love and care: modern, high-quality, very comfortable in a central location. Everything has been considered so that you can enjoy beautiful and carefree vacation days – and a little more. High-quality, custom-made furnishings from the joinery. Emphasis was placed on authentic materials that reflect nature. The Wander-Lodge is located on the upper floor (two flights of stairs, entrance on the lower ground floor) of a house completely renovated in 2025, in a central location in Willingen. Short walking distances to many tourist facilities: center/town hall approx. 200m, ice rink/lagoon pool, visitor center/cinema, spa park approx. 400m, nightlife 600m, cable car, train station approx. 900m.

- Kitchen with top-quality equipment that leaves hardly anything to be desired. Large refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, blender, pod machine, microwave, good selection of spices, sandwich toaster/waffle iron

- Living area with large seating group, 55" smart TV with integrated soundbar, Blu-ray player
- Bedroom 1: box spring double bed 1.80x2m, TV, open wardrobe (baby bed/high chair on request)

- Bedroom 3: two single beds (90x2m), open wardrobe, TV
- Bathroom 1 with shower, towel radiator, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and window

You will find top equipment in the Wander-Lodge: comfort mattresses, trekking poles and hiking backpacks, wooden train set, 2x Bluetooth sound system with internet radio in the bedroom. In the basement there are a washing machine, dryer, and bicycle storage room.
Two private parking spaces in front of the house, e-charging station available.

As a precaution, we would like to point out with regard to Willingen party tourism that we value cultivated guests and do not wish for or tolerate ‘excessive conviviality’ – such as parties, loud music, and other boisterous celebrations – on the terrace, balcony, or in the house! If you may... enjoy yourselves in the local venues – but behave appropriately in the house and be considerate of the neighbors, and you are welcome guests. We therefore ask for an objective self-assessment as to whether you are a good fit for us. Please also be sure to observe §12 of our ! No rental to pure party clubs, bachelor parties, 'sociable' sports clubs, groups of people under 30 years old!

The apartment is located in the heart of Willingen – central location with short walking distances to the town center (200m), making this holiday apartment ideal for pleasure seekers and families who like to stay in the middle of things and want to reach everything within a short distance.
Bakery with café; numerous restaurants and breakfast options as well as the cult experience gastronomy “Don Camillo” (in the former village church) with dancing on weekends can be found within 200-300m. Ice rink/Lagunenbad, visitor center/cinema, spa park approx. 400m, nightlife 600m, cable car, train station approx. 900m.

WILLINGEN/Upland in the DIEMELSEE NATURE PARK: Four-season vacation in the most visited resort of the Central Uplands. Willingen (550-843 m) is a health resort and winter sports destination; its wide range of leisure activities is unique in Germany, which is why Willingen, with its slogan "Everything I want," is equally popular with young and old alike. Summer beach bathing at Lake Diemel; for hikers, Willingen with Europe’s largest high heath and eight 800-meter peaks is the top destination in the Sauerland. Ettelsberg Hochheide Tower – the highest viewpoint in Northwest Germany. Skywalk Willingen – Germany’s longest suspension bridge, bike park with World Cup downhill course. One of the top 5 low mountain ski areas with 15 km of panoramic slopes, modern 8-person cable car + 11 lifts, 6 km of floodlit slopes, over 90 snow cannons, 70 km of cross-country trails, EWF biathlon arena with a snow-covered 2 km floodlit trail. Not only is the après-ski legendary, but there is 'Saturday Night Fever' here all year round. Siggi's Ettelsberg Hut is a cult favorite. 1. When making inquiries and bookings, please avoid arrivals and departures on Saturdays whenever possible, as we do not want to disrupt busy weekends. Instead of Saturday, please arrive on Friday or Sunday if possible.
For arrivals/departures on Saturdays, we charge a surcharge of €150, which is not shown in the price calculator!

2. We cannot offer discounts for Sunday-to-Sunday bookings, as cleaning staff receive a 100% wage supplement for working on Sundays and public holidays, as stipulated by collective agreement. This means that for Sunday-to-Sunday bookings, we always charge the base price per night specified for the respective season x7, even if a discount is calculated in the price calculator.

Further exceptions for arrivals/departures:
Ski Jumping (FIS World-Cup): Arrival only possible on Thursday/Friday (no arrivals on Saturday)
Carnival: Arrival only on Thursday/Friday Possible (not Saturday, Sunday, or Carnival Monday)
Easter: Arrival only until Maundy Thursday (arrival on Good Friday only possible with a minimum booking of 9 nights)
Easter: No arrival possible on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday

Security Deposit:
A general security deposit of € 300 is required for this property.
The security deposit is payable along with the final payment no later than 14 days before arrival and will be refunded to you within seven to ten business days after departure.

Een echte aanrader!

Een fantastisch vakantieappartement op een zeer centrale locatie! Alles is van topkwaliteit. Aan niets ontbreekt het. Zelfs sleeën en skischoenverwarmers zijn aanwezig in de skiruimte. Het waterpark, de ijsbaan en het stadscentrum liggen allemaal op loopafstand. We komen volgend jaar zeker terug. Een echte aanrader! (Google translator) Eine fantastische Ferienwohnung sehr zentral! Alles ist von höchster Qualität. Es fehlt an nichts. Sogar Schlitten und Skischuhwärmer stehen im Skiraum bereit. Wasserpark, Eisbahn und Stadtzentrum sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ons verblijf in de Wanderlodge is zeer goed bevallen. Het huis was zeer ruim, fijn rustig en modern ingericht. Van alle gemakken voorzien, goede bedden, twee fijne douches, uitstekende keuken. Zelfs een comfortabele houtkachel. Wij mistten nog wat haakjes voor de thee en handdoeken in de keuken op te hangen. En de sensor van het licht in de gang is wat hyperactief. Maar dat zijn kleinigheden. Goede ligging, dichtbij het centrum en het bikepark. Kortom ik zou dit appartement zeker aanraden!! (Google-translator) Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Wanderlodge sehr genossen. Das Haus war sehr geräumig, angenehm ruhig und modern eingerichtet. Es war komplett ausgestattet mit bequemen Betten, zwei schönen Duschen und einer ausgezeichneten Küche. Es gab sogar einen gemütlichen Holzofen. Wir haben in der Küche ein paar Haken für Geschirr- und Handtücher vermisst. Und der Lichtsensor im Flur ist etwas überaktiv. Aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Die Lage ist hervorragend, in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums und des Bikeparks. Kurz gesagt: Ich kann diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

We were the 2nd guests in this great vacation apartment and felt completely comfortable. The apartment is equipped with a lot of love for detail and we lacked nothing. We will definitely come back :-)
