The holiday home Erholungsurlaub Herkingen warmly welcomes you in the Dutch town of Herkingen – an ideal retreat for up to 6 guests. On 46 m² you will find a cozy living area with one bedroom and a modern bathroom – perfect for families or friends who want to relax together. The fully equipped kitchenette with microwave invites you to cook together and enjoy delicious meals. Fresh bed linen and comfortable beds are available for restful nights.

The house is designed exclusively for non-smokers and offers an especially allergy-friendly environment, so you can enjoy your stay without worries. In the living area, a TV provides relaxing evenings, while large windows let in plenty of daylight and offer views of the green surroundings. Right outside the door, a private boat dock invites you to explore the waterways with the provided boat – a real highlight for water sports enthusiasts.

The surroundings delight with expansive meadows, picturesque windmills, and proximity to the water. On the terrace, you can enjoy the fresh air and let the day end in a relaxed atmosphere. We are Johan and Jolanda van Dam and have been the owners of this cozy holiday home since October 2025. After a renovation, remodeling, and decoration period of 4 months, this house is now completely up to date according to the latest trends. We have added a beautiful veranda and the bathroom and kitchen have been renewed; we have named our house Huusie Flamingo because the flamingos on the Grevelingenmeer are nearby. We rent out this lovely holiday home because we want to share this beautiful island Goeree Overflakkee with you.
