Description
Our completely renovated vacation home is located in the park St. Jacob in Herkingen, on the island of Goeree Overflakkee. The bungalow is fully equipped and surrounded by a beautiful and spacious garden where you can relax and enjoy the pure sea air
The cottage is equipped with a brand new kitchen, bathroom and interior (2022) and is rented for the first time this year!
From the first floor entrance you have access to the comfortable and modern bathroom. The bathroom has a luxurious rain shower. The bathroom is also equipped with a vanity, furniture, a mirror with dimmable lighting and a toilet.
There is also a washing machine so you can do laundry during your vacation
For each guest there is a possibility to book a towel package consisting of a large bath towel and 2 towels
On the first floor there is bedroom 1, opposite the bathroom. In this bedroom there are 2 comfortable single beds of 90x190 cm. Ideal for children or grandparents!
In the living room there are 2 comfortable sofas and 2 chairs. When you are not on the road you can relax, chat, have a drink or watch TV
Also in the dining area is space for 6 people at a round, cozy table, to eat or play social games
The new and modern kitchen is fully equipped where you can cook and enjoy together.
A delicious cup of coffee from the Dolce Gusto coffee maker, or bake an oven dish or a pizza in the oven, it's all possible here!
The oven also has a microwave function, so you can easily warm up a bottle of milk for your baby
Further, in the kitchen there is a dishwasher and a spacious refrigerator with freezer compartment
To make your arrival more pleasant, we provide some basic things like salt, pepper, coffee milk, sugar and coffee and tea for the first days. Also there are dishwasher tabs, 2 kitchen towels and 2 dish towels.
From the living room you go upstairs via the sturdy and solid staircase. Here you will find bedrooms 2 and 3. Bedroom 2 is equipped with 2 comfortable single beds of 90x200cm (can also be used as a double bed) in which you will surely relax! Bedroom 3 is equipped with 2 single beds of 90x210cm (king size!). The beds can also be used as a double bed. All 3 bedrooms have a closet with enough storage space. All bedrooms have shutters
Further there is a storage room between the bedrooms where you can find a fan, a high chair, an ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and other practical things.
The cozy living room has a terrace sliding door to the south. This makes it wonderfully bright in the living room. From the living room you enter the sunny south-facing terrace with comfortable garden chairs. If you need more shade, you can relax in the garden area on the east side of the house and make yourself comfortable under the large tree that acts as a natural parasol
In good weather you can have a nice meal, a drink or a barbecue in the garden.
Under the tree is a cozy picnic table where you can have breakfast in the early morning sun. There is no better way to start the day!
In the garden house there are some lounge chairs. Also we have for your child(ren) toys for the beach, so this you then do not need to bring
From the house it is only 200 meters to the beach of Herkingen and the Grevelingenmeer!
The sea is shallow for a long time, so children can play safely in the water.
Not only swimming and sunbathing is very popular in the part of Herkingen but also with surfers. These come with good wind even from Germany and Belgium!

In Herkingen there is a supermarket with a large assortment. In the morning, this supermarket offers a nice selection of hot rolls, croissants, etc. They also have local delicacies, cold cuts, cheeses and snacks. Besides 2 large marinas, Herkingen also has a snack bar, a pizzeria and a brasserie. If you don't feel like cooking, you can visit them
On the island of Goeree Overflakkee there is plenty to do for young and old. There are countless hiking and biking trails through the beautiful and varied nature. There are polders, forests and nature reserves, for example the Slikken van Flakkee where cattle and fjord horses run
Nearby are swimming pools, a seal sanctuary, fauna park, etc
In about 20 minutes you are in Ouddorp and the open North Sea, there are countless water sports. If you want to go shopping or shopping, you can drive in 10 minutes to the village of Middelharnis, there are many stores and nice boutiques.
In our cottage there is an information folder in which you will find the house rules and information about the activities and attractions in the area.

On departure the tenant will get it back if everything is in order. - Cleaning costs one time 50,00 € - You can book towels and bed linen with your reservation for €15,- per person Of course you can also bring them from home. |
Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation option until 45 days before the day of arrival.
- Bei einem Rücktritt bis zum einschließlich 45.Tag vor dem vereinbarten Mietbeginn 0% des Reisepreises. Bei einem Rücktritt vom 44. bis zum einschließlich 33. Tag vor dem vereinbarten Mietbeginn 50% des Reisepreises. Bei einem Rücktritt vom 32. bis zum einschließlich letzten Tag vor dem vereinbarten Mietbeginn 90% des Reisepreises. Bei späterem Rücktritt oder bei Nichtantritt der Reise wird der 100% Reisepreis berechnet.
