Description

You enter the cabin in the living and dining area. Here you will find a comfortable corner couch, a small table, an armchair, a TV cabinet with board games and the LED TV, as well as a dining table with a corner bench and chairs. In the kitchen area there are small cupboards, a mini kitchen with two hotplates, a sink and a fridge with freezer compartment. Furthermore, you will find a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee maker. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and is equipped with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. You reach the upper floor via a narrow space-saving staircase. This staircase is not lockable from either access. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with two single beds and two wardrobes built into the sloping roof. Behind this room is the second bedroom, which can be closed with a door. There are two single beds. In the cold season, the holiday home is heated with a modern electric ceramic heater. In front of the house is a large wooden terrace with garden furniture, a parasol and a barbecue. In an outbuilding with a social room, joint events can be planned with the owners or other guests. There is a car parking space for you on the property.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is a Finn cabin. It stands with two other Finn cabins, an outbuilding with a lounge and the owners' home on a 3600 m² exposed plot. In the garden there is a table tennis table and playground equipment for children to play on. The bathing area at Lake Dabel is only 500 m away. A large meadow borders the property. Rental bicycles and a fishing boat are available.
You are welcome to use a large fire bowl and a smoker free of charge. The village of Dabel is located on the "Mecklenburg Lake District", in the "Sternberger Seenlandschaft" nature park. Here you can relax in the hilly, forest and lake-rich nature, while hiking, cycling, sunbathing and swimming, playing mini golf or horseback riding from your everyday stress. You can plan tours on the "Klein Pritzer See" with the hotel's own rowing boat and with two canoes. The owners also offer carriage rides. You are welcome to bring your own horse. Guest boxes and a large paddock, for the accommodation of your favourite, are available nearby. Shopping facilities are available in the village, 1000 m away. The next restaurant is 200 m away. You can also visit Sternberg with its old half-timbered houses in the historic town centre, as well as the Slavic castle, the archaeological open-air museum Groß Raden or the Dobbertin monastery. The Hanseatic city of Wismar, the surrounding Baltic Sea resorts, Waren Müritz, the cultural city of Güstrow or the state capital Schwerin are all within an hour's drive and worth at least a day trip.

Repeatedly recovered :)

We are here for the 2nd time with the Aulich family to vacation in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
The Aulich family are attentive, loving, and humorous landlords.
The included bike rental is worth its weight in gold in this very beautiful landscape.
The free-to-borrow stand-up paddleboard was another fun activity right in the lake next door!
Table tennis table, badminton rackets,
garden use - everything is included :)
A new kitchenette was also in the house - great! Location: Rehe, storks, cranes, bats, swallows - all directly observable from the house in summer and probably even more? We had mixed weather, but all around, within about 1/2 to 1 hour (e.g., Baltic Sea) driving time, we could enjoy nice leisure activities. And for all water lovers: despite an average outside temperature of 20°C: we were in the water almost every day: it's close, it's not too cold, it's clean, and it costs nothing (maybe a little bit of overcoming;))-then it’s still summer:)

Great accommodation

We felt very comfortable and well cared for. Unfortunately, we only had 1 weekend, but we were able to do a lot in this short time. We also used the great bicycles and the boat. A visit is worth it. We would love to come back.

Cozy clean house

A lovingly furnished house. Very quiet location, just right for finding peace. A perfect starting point for beautiful hikes and excursions to the Baltic Sea. Very friendly and helpful landlords who truly do everything to ensure you feel comfortable. We will definitely come back.

Feel-Good Vacation

We had a super relaxing vacation! ! !
The Aulich family are very nice and accommodating hosts.
The Finnish hut is tastefully furnished with everything you need... if something is missing, it is delivered immediately.
We brought our e-bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings of Dabel and the Sternberg lakes, where Mr. Aulich gave us some suggestions for excursions... these tips were excellent? . We took our dog Theo with us on vacation, and he had a great time as well. The garden was fenced in, so we didn't always have to keep an eye on our four-legged friend... that was great! We needed a veterinarian once, and Ms. Aulich immediately helped us and provided the address of a very good vet. We received recommendations for restaurants and a good fish smokehouse... and, and, and... THANK YOU for EVERYTHING. The accommodation was very clean!!!

Familienurlaub

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation here with the aim of relaxation and swimming in the lake - mostly just spending quality time together as a family. The Finnish cottage had everything we needed, was perfectly furnished, and sparkling clean. One of our highlights was the barbecue, which was provided with everything necessary! The very nice hosts Norbert and Daisy warmly welcomed us and always provided us with good tips for day trips and activities, making sure that we have a great week.

We will come back!

We enjoyed it...the holiday home is superbly equipped. Everything is newly renovated and tastefully furnished. Due to the quiet surroundings, we were able to relax very well. The hosts who live next door are also extremely warm and have fulfilled every wish, for example with cake or even a bottle of beer. If you want to be active, you can also play table tennis. We also got bicycles from the host, so we could explore the beautiful surroundings with the lakes even better. Thank you for a great holiday!

We were on vacation!

Family Aulich are great hosts! Always approachable, animal-loving, child-loving, uncomplicated and helpful. The holiday house has good facilities, a garden, various ball games, a rowing boat available by arrangement, and individually adjusted bicycles were available from the first day. Excursion tips are available or were recommended to us.
Location: Lots of water, meadow, forest, barbecue, family-friendly exhibitions/museums within easy walking or cycling distance. Self-catering is possible in the village. About 1 hour by car to the Baltic Sea.
We especially enjoyed comfortable cycling and swimming. We didn't have perfect weather, but since everything was so close, we could use every window of time between the rain or even in the rain and had fun and a vacation.
We are considering (long journey) whether to come again! It was really relaxing!

Everything perfect!

We had everything we needed! Very friendly and accommodating hosts, a nice clean cottage, bicycles, a boat, play facilities for the children on the grounds, bread rolls within walking distance, bathing beaches in the area, peace and quiet, stars, animals....
It was great and we will definitely be back.

Pure relaxation

A place to leave everyday stress behind and enjoy. The Finnish huts are lovingly furnished. The welcome was very warm and small attentions were prepared.
On the well-kept property there is a fire pit (for social evenings) with a view of a large meadow where you can watch geese and deer. For the sporty guests there is a table tennis table, badminton games, balls and not to forget bicycles (in great condition, thanks to Norbert). The small complex is an ideal starting point for activities or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks to Norbert and Daisy for the great holiday week. It was simply too short. We will come back. Promise!!!

Absolutely recommended!

Clean, comfortable and idyllic. The landlords alone are already an experience. They are very friendly and always nearby, but not intrusive. Already during the welcome, there was a glass of honey from the father-in-law :)
The house is very well equipped, coffee, spices, and tea are already available. It is very clean and cozy.
A fire bowl is available for romantic hours. The landlord can also provide tips for excursions. All in all, as already mentioned, simply recommendable.

Repeat offender

There is a wide range of holiday accommodations at the Mecklenburg Lake District, but we always choose the Finnhütten of the Aulichs because we feel extremely comfortable there. The cottages are very cozy and equipped with great attention to detail, including cookies on the table as a welcome gesture and everything necessary for the first day in the fridge and coffee canisters. The landlords are very warm and helpful, the free bicycles are always in top condition thanks to their own repair shop. Sometimes a piece of cake is waiting at the door. The landlords always have good tips for excursions, activities, and gastronomy. There is also a boat available on the Klein Pritzer Lake that guests can use. The dog also enjoyed it there.

Vacation 2020

We were very surprised by the Mecklenburg Lake District.
We were warmly welcomed by the Aurich family in Dabel and felt very comfortable. The Finnish houses are equipped with great care and attention to detail. Everything has been thought of. Even our 18-year-old daughter felt very comfortable here and still raves about our holiday week. We experienced and explored a lot, whether by bike, car, or canoe. It was a beautiful week.

Always happy to do it again.

At Aulichs, you feel almost instantly at home, our little house is decorated with a lot of love and always includes a basic supply of drinks (especially coffee). Our Retriever mix Leo is very happy in the large, fenced garden. It's only a few meters to the nearest lake or into the forest for walks. Several good restaurants and the bakery are within walking distance. In the evenings, Mr. Aulich often lit a large bonfire, and if you feel like it, you can chat or barbecue with all the guests until late. The warm and welcoming nature of the Aulichs is particularly noteworthy; they have a few tips for every activity and always know where to find something beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Summer vacation 2014

We had a very nice summer vacation in one of the 3 Finnish cottages with the Auilich family. We were warmly welcomed with small welcome gifts. The landlords were very accommodating, gave us many tips for excursions in the area, and supported us in planning day trips. Whether a bike tour, canoe trip, railbike, or excursion by car. We ended the evening at the barbecue, by the fire pit, or in the restaurant across the street. The property is idyllically situated. Swimming lakes are in the immediate vicinity. You can also be active in sports with table tennis or badminton.
Our daughter fondly remembers the private riding lesson with Mr. Aulich and his horse :-).
Overall, it was a very nice vacation and we fondly remember the time.
