Holiday home for feeling good

We were guests at the house by the edge of the forest with three adults and two dogs for a week and felt completely comfortable. Everything you need is available. The house is lovingly furnished, with beautiful furniture, pretty dishes, good beds, and Wi-Fi. The location is ideal for dog owners; you are immediately in the forest for extensive walks. We can only recommend the house.

So nice

For the 3rd time in a row, we are now in this beautiful house by the Darß forest, perfect for our dog. The house leaves nothing to be desired, it is very quiet, hears every bird chirp, and can enjoy the open fireplace in the house on cool days. We will be here again next year ;)

Genuine recommendation

For rent, there is a half-house over 3 floors with a terrace. On the ground floor, there is a living/staying room and an open kitchen, spacious and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. For us cooking enthusiasts, it was a very pleasant surprise! On the first floor are the bedrooms, and in the attic, there is still a studio, unused by us. The furnishings of the units are of high quality and well thought out. A terrace with chairs and loungers is available. The entire property is well-maintained. TV and Wi-Fi are available and working. The location is very good, about 1 km to the center, to the beaches depending on beach access varies. Prerow is not very large :-). Still, the location is very quiet, very pleasant! Parking is available for each unit. There is nothing to complain about. The landlord is always easily reachable, as is the caretaker. We hardly had to disturb them :-) . Important is: Here, as is often the case at the Baltic Sea, bed linen and other items like towels for bathroom/kitchen, etc. to bring along or must be booked separately. The landlord offers this, of course. There is an EDEKA in short distance. Beach: We used beach access 37 a bit further away due to the dog, everything there is easy to manage regarding parking, etc. We were all very satisfied. We will definitely come back. Small tip: If there were a clock somewhere, that would be quite practical :-)

Highly recommended

Very beautiful house in country house style located near the beach! The furnishings are completely sufficient for at least six people, and it was very clean when we took over! The people here are also very friendly! The location is very good for hiking, or you can go to the beach. Anyone who wants to ride a bike won't be disappointed here either! So there is plenty available for all interests! Thank you!

We really liked the holiday home with its equipment and location. Right on the edge of the forest in a quiet location. We didn't miss anything in terms of equipment. Everything worked and it was very clean. A very friendly contact with the landlord and the manager on site, who is personally on site within minutes.

Wonderful stay

The house is located in a quiet area in Prerow on a beautiful property. It is easily accessible. It is lovingly furnished and you immediately feel comfortable (thatched roof, Darßer door, fireplace, cozy armchairs, etc.). It also does not lack the practical things in the kitchen (measuring cup, egg spoon, etc.). The house is bright and you can easily reach the center or the beach on foot. We will be back.

Feel at home

A great accommodation, the house is located in a quiet area on the edge of the forest and is very comfortably furnished by the owner. Everything is available to cook for yourself if you wish. Even in bad weather, this accommodation offers plenty of space and opportunities to relax or enjoy an afternoon of play with the children. The beds are comfortable and located on the first floor. We always come here in the fall and enjoy the luxury of the fireplace after a long day of hiking.

Price-performance ratio does not match here!

First the positive aspects. . .
1. The house had a great location for us! 2. The property manager was very friendly and accommodating! 3. The house looks beautiful from the outside!
Now, the essential part: The interior of the house was very uncomfortable. We never felt at ease! Additionally, parts of the house were not clean (mattress with lots of hair, dirty kitchen utensils, mold on the bathroom windows, old bathroom rugs). Furthermore, the framework of the children's swing and slide was rotting and on the verge of collapsing! There is an absolute risk of accidents here! The fact that one has to pay for washing at this rental price is outrageous! The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here! We will definitely NOT come back to this property and cannot recommend it either!

Top-notch accommodations in a great environment

For the past 8 years, my family and I have been going to Prerow, alternating between Hafenstraße 47 and 49 in the "Haus am Waldrand" ("House at the Forest Edge"). The name "Haus am Waldrand" is more of a description of the location (you drive off the property and you're right in the forest) than a name. The house consists of two semi-detached houses made of solid construction with a thatched roof. It includes a terrace with garden furniture for 6 people, a small shed for terrace items, and a larger bicycle shed for secure bicycle storage. There are two parking spaces available for each semi-detached house. The clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished house can certainly be considered an eye-catcher. There is ample crockery and cutlery for 6 people. The kitchen is also well-equipped with electrical appliances, including a fairly new dishwasher. The electrical appliances are brand name and not cheap. The living room is equipped with an undamaged leather corner sofa, glass table, television, and radio, as well as a fireplace. Two bathrooms are spread over two floors. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms with double beds and a wardrobe with sufficient storage space. Under the roof (3rd floor), there is a sofa bed and a small television. Everything has been regularly clean and in excellent condition during the 8 years that we have been in Prerow. In the event of any small problems, the owner Mr. Pomplun and the caretaker Mr. Mainhardt can be reached quickly and are committed to resolving everything to the best of their ability. In summary, there are 120 square meters in a great atmosphere, nestled in beautiful nature with the Darß Forest on the doorstep. Apparently, I share this impression with almost all the reviewing guests of this holiday domicile. Regarding the evaluation of the tenant moving in after us, I protest against her claim of leaving dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinet. This seems as confused as the entire evaluation. There are always dissatisfied people.

Dreamy Baltic Sea vacation

It was just perfect. The house is equipped with very high-quality furniture in all areas. The attention to detail is evident in every single room. The decorations are harmonious and fitting. Simply great. You feel comfortable right away. The cleanliness was impeccable. We will definitely vacation in this beautiful home again.

Feel-good vacation for Baltic Sea lovers

As a family with children and grandchildren, we regularly spend two weeks a year in the holiday home of Mr. Pomplun. We appreciate the proximity of the house to the west and east beaches and the bike rental around the corner. The solid and spacious construction style of the holiday home, the very good equipment of the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the extremely well-kept outdoor facilities and the proximity to the forest allow us to spend a relaxed vacation. We find the problem-free handover and the quick minor repairs by Mr. Meinhardt very pleasant. The climate in the house is very pleasant thanks to the underfloor heating and the fireplace, no one has to freeze. It is remarkable how quickly and reliably we could book and the personal contact with Mr. Pomplun. With best recommendations, Fam. Rehner.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

From the first day, we were able to enjoy and relax on vacation. Nothing was missing in the well-equipped and well-maintained holiday home on the edge of the forest. The handover and service by the property manager also went smoothly and was uncomplicated.
The wonderful landscape and beautiful sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea totally thrilled us. From our holiday home, we went on numerous bike tours. A boat trip on the lagoon is highly recommended and a lot of fun. The residential location is quiet and convenient if you want to visit Rostock, Stralsund, or Rügen. We can highly recommend the holiday home at the edge of the forest for families with children of all ages and would book a vacation with the friendly and accommodating landlord again at any time. It was a great 2 weeks on Darß. :-)

Beautiful accommodation

We felt very comfortable in the tastefully furnished and well-equipped house. The location on the edge of the forest is wonderfully quiet and allows for relaxing walks right outside the door. With bikes, you can reach the north beach in about 10 minutes and the bakery in 5 minutes. The way to the west beach (about 4 km) passes directly by the house. Bike rental in the village is affordable at 5 € per day. We can wholeheartedly recommend a vacation in the house by the forest.

Always happy to visit the Black Forest.

Since 2015, we have been spending our time off from everyday life in this vacation house. We come once or twice a year and manage to regenerate within a short time each time. The house is very quiet yet central. The location is ideal for children and dogs as the Darss forest starts right outside the door. Even in cooler weather, the house is recommended due to the fireplace and underfloor heating.
