Holzerath is quietly situated in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park in Rhineland-Palatinate – ideal for nature or active holidaymakers.
Explore well-marked hiking trails through forests, meadows, and fields, with a bit of luck also with wildlife sightings, e.g. to the Ruwer spring or the high moor/boardwalk to Kell am See.
You can also find relaxation and refreshment at the leisure facility in the forest of Holzerath, about 600 meters from the holiday home. From the 23-meter-high treetop path, overlook the Saarschleife as well as Montclair Castle near Mettlach.
Visit the picturesque town of Saarburg with its legendary waterfall and much more,
or hike through the vineyards along the Moselle, Saar, and Ruwer.

Belvedere House
We had a great stay. The house is very well furnished, everything just fit perfectly. A tiny little downside is that the bed is a bit small. The house is located near a small swimming lake. The bike path is quickly accessible.

Holiday beautiful place
What a beautiful place. Here you can really find peace.
With a wonderful view from the balcony. A large garden to relax in. Upon our arrival, Mrs. Lehnert already had a delicious homemade cake ready. And she provided us with all sorts of information about the area and took all the time in the world for it. Additionally, information about attractions and similar things is available. You are surrounded by forest and can take beautiful hikes directly from the holiday home. Nearby, you can also visit mines and cities. Or simply relax on the balcony or in the garden. The holiday home also has games to play and books to read. Very extensive.
Nearby cities like Trier and Saarburg can be easily reached by car within half an hour. A supermarket is located in the next village, which you can reach by car in 10 minutes.

Forest bathing???
The vacation was rainy, but no one can be blamed for that. The surroundings with the many opportunities to see something, the forest, the extremely cozy accommodation, and the loving hostess still allowed us to enjoy the vacation very much! Simply very relaxing. The cake and jam were great, thank you, Mrs. Lehnert. When the owl calls at night and you breathe in the fresh air, you can only recover. Absolutely recommended!

wenn auch etwas verspätet erinnere ich mich noch gut an ihren Aufenthalt zur Apfelerntezeit im Haus Belvedere.
Sie und ihre Frau konnten trotz Regenwetter die gewünschte Erholung finden., was mich sehr freute.
Zur Zeit sind die Temperaturen hoch und die Erde bittet um Regen, im Ferienhaus am Wald ,sowie der Nähe zum See findet man Erholung .
Vielleicht zieht es sie ja wieder mal nach Holzerath um vom Alltag abzuschalten, sie sind mir Herzlich Willkommen.
