Welcome to Maising.
Our lovingly renovated flat in a former farmhouse invites families as well as couples to a relaxing holiday in the middle of the Bavarian nature at Lake Starnberg.
With up to 6 sleeping places, we offer you enough space to relax after exploring the surrounding nature, cycling tours in the Five Lakes Region or excursions to the nearby Alps.
Maising offers you a breathtaking landscape in the immediate vicinity with Lake Maising and wide paths for walks or cycle tours.
There are two excellent inns in the village, which are happy to welcome you during opening hours and cater to your every wish with typical Bavarian fare.
Our holiday flat is located on the first floor of a former farmhouse in beautiful Maising near Pöcking on Lake Starnberg.
We offer you a cosy flat of approx. 80 sqm that leaves nothing to be desired.
In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, you will find a large bathroom with bathtub and open shower with a distant view over fields and meadows.
The master bedroom is east-facing and has a double bed (180cm) for a good night's sleep. In addition, a single bed (90cm) in a cosy adjoining room offers another place to sleep.
The second bedroom facing south has a pull-out bed, which can be extended to 160cm as a single or double bed.
The flat therefore offers cosy sleeping space for 5 people.
The large living room has a TV, a spacious dining area and a pull-out sofa bed.
This means that the flat can be booked for up to 6 people.
The courtyard is surrounded by a large garden, which can be used by arrangement.
We currently keep a small group of chickens, which are happy to receive visits with food and small treats.
The bathroom is equipped with enough towels on arrival to make it easy for you to take care of yourselves during longer stays.
TV, W-Lan and car park are available and included in the price.

Location and surroundings of object
Maising is only about 10 minutes by car and about 15 minutes by bike from Lake Starnberg. Munich can be reached in around 35 minutes by car. This location makes Maising the ideal starting point for the most beautiful day trips and cycle tours between Munich and the Alps.

The "Paradies" swimming area in Possenhofen (15 minutes by car) is particularly recommended in summer. It is spacious and well suited for spending a day at the lake with the whole family. Swimming, stand-up paddling & relaxing
