Discover our beautiful holiday apartment on a quiet residential street in Bömighausen, a district of the municipality of Willingen (Upl.) on the edge of the Sauerland.
Access is via a private entrance, next to which there is also a terrace with a table and chairs for you. For a cozy, quiet, and relaxing stay, our apartment has a bedroom with a large double bed, a living room with a couch, dining area, and satellite TV, a kitchen with a stove (ceramic hob 4 cooking zones) and oven, refrigerator and freezer, as well as a microwave and various other kitchen appliances. In the bathroom, there is both a shower and a bathtub. Directly near the house, the Uplandsteig, one of Germany's most beautiful hiking trails, passes by, winding through all the districts of Willingen.
For example, the main town of Willingen, which in winter invites you to ski with its trails and slopes and in summer offers numerous routes for mountain biking, can be reached in just a few minutes by car. The place is also known for the World Cup ski jumping at the Mühlenkopf-Schanze (by the way, the largest ski jump in the world, only ski flying hills are larger), where the latest attraction is located: at a lofty 100m height above the Stryck Valley, you can enjoy the view of the ski jump and the town from the Skywalk suspension bridge.
In the district of Usseln, you will find the Curioseum, a museum of a special kind, where, as the name suggests, all sorts of curiosities and strange things have been collected. In the other direction, you will find the district town of Korbach with its notable half-timbered old town and many opportunities for strolling and shopping.
Other excursion destinations in the nearby area include Lake Eder, Lake Twiste, and Lake Diemel, all worth a visit.
